Foreign Affairs › Re: UK Goes For The Kill! Supplies Ukraine With Lethal Anti-ship Missiles And More. by chronique(m): 9:14am On Apr 09, 2022
Most of the supplied MANPADS have been captured by Russian forces and are being used against Ukraine. At the end of the day, the second phase of this war would be very deadly and devastating. The amount of equipments and the caliber of weapons and ammunition to be deployed by both sides, would be very disastrous. There's no way civilian casualties won't be in very high numbers.

texazzpete:
They have their hands full just struggling with Ukraine. Throw in other European countries like the UK and they’d be begging for peace.
I don't think that is correct. The strategy in Ukraine is to avoid as many casualties as possible cos they still see themselves as brothers. If they were to be involved with a country like UK, it would be different with no regard for civilian casualties.

USA are the master strategists and negotiators.

Russia is about to experience hell and the death of their air superiority grin

So US gave Slovakia her Patriot Missile batteries in exchange for their S-300 given to Ukraine.

I love the United States. grin
I don't think it would change anything in Ukraine's favor considering the fact that Russia has destroyed several s300 systems in Ukraine since the war started. The only way they can help Ukraine now is to give them fighter jets which I doubt can be done.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Ruble’s Strength In Face Of Sanctions May Be Illusory by chronique(m): 6:24pm On Apr 08, 2022
They will say anything to make a Russian gain look impossible. Why is it difficult for the west to come to reality that the cards won't always play in their favor?

This is not good for the global economy. If the US goes into recession, it would affect everybody. I don't understand why the west are refusing to apply wisdom on this Russian issue.

mike8804:
funniest thing is not for free, Ukraine will pay for it directly or indirectly
Not for free. With the amount of weapons different countries have supplied Ukraine, the amount of military personnel Ukraine has, compared to what Russia is using, Ukraine should have done better than they have. My worry isn't so much about that. My worry is about what would happen to the weapons in azov custody and how it could lead to terrorists attack in Europe.

Foreign Affairs › Re: Russia Attacks Kramatorsk Train Station In Ukraine, 39 People Killed by chronique(m): 3:11pm On Apr 08, 2022
One thing I have come to understand in this conflict is that there's not just a physical war going on but also a war of disinformation with lots of counter accusations from both sides. It's in the interest of everyone to stay neutral and not get emotionally overwhelmed.

Lies
And more lies
So you are saying the us supplied Humvees(HMMWV) yet we haven't seen any in combat bros calm down na
Most of you on this platform ehn, it's only God that knows what you people use your brain in doing. Someone would post something and you won't bother checking for yourself elsewhere if it's true or not, only to start accusing the person of lying. Just admit that you are not up to date with the information on the war. There have been pictures of several humvees destroyed by Russia since the start of the war.
Foreign Affairs › List Of Arms And Services US Has Rendered To Ukraine Since February by chronique(op): 11:07am On Apr 08, 2022
This is a list of the weapons and services the US has supplied to Ukraine since the start of the war in February between Ukraine and Russia. This is separate from what NATO, UK, Germany, Poland, France, Belgium, Czech Republic, Australia, Canada, Italy, Portugal and other European nations, have supplied Ukraine with. Despite all these arms and services, Ukraine is still on the back foot.

Let this confusions no push Putin press nuclear button ooo

At this rate, na madness get Russia

You mean the ones that left?
That they left is not the issue. But having well over 400 big multinational companies from the west operating in Russia, should tell you automatically that it is not your average small country that nobody regards. Besides, most of them have their assets in Russia currently. They simply just stopped operating.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Russia Bans New Zealand Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, 129 Others From Entering by chronique(m): 6:38pm On Apr 07, 2022
When I see some comments here, I just marvel. It's like most of you think Russia is your Nigeria that nobody regards. You guys need to go and do research as to how many foreign companies are operating in Russia first before you start typing like naive little kids. I'm not talking about mushroom individual businesses here. I'm talking about large corporations from the west.

This one has never had sense in his life and can never have sense. Isn't it logical that the best person to fix it is the person that started it? Ajaokuta was constructed by the Russians and it only makes sense that you allow them to finish it.

If they ban oil, gas and coal from Russia at once, how will they survive? How would they power their industries and homes? They need to be pragmatic in their approach to issuing sanctions as the ones they have issued has already hit them too.
Foreign Affairs › Re: 'Evacuate Now Or Risk Death': Ukraine Tells Residents As Russia Prepares Assault by chronique(m): 5:16pm On Apr 06, 2022
The sad reality of all of this is that this is happening because of the lack of diplomacy of one person, the ego of so many people and the over bearing behaviors of some people. I hope in the future, leaders would learn how to not stoke the fire, and also do everything possible to sit at a table and make war an option not being considered. I hate to imagine how the lives some people have planned for themselves have suddenly been thwarted by this war and when it's over, they would have to start building their lives all over again from scratch.

That is what your country can easily suffer from, in the future. Many nations with thinkers are observing the situation. Nigeria has 400billion dollars and it can also be siezed in the future if they don't fall online. Pakistan already suffers from outside just because of corrupt generals in that country.
Less than 40bn dollars. Not 400bn dollars.

How one country alone is able to cause global inflation, instability, hunger, and the rest is surprising.

Sanction Russian gas, gas prices go up
Sanction Russian oil, oil prices go up
Sanction Russian coal, coal prices go up
Sanction Russian wheat, wheat prices go up.
For everything Russian they sanction, the price on the international market goes up.

Ladies and gentlemen, the most powerful country in the world has to be Russia right now.

Russia would be policing that airspace seriously right now to bring down anything that moves in the air. They must get those foreigners there alive. God help NATO and US that this is not a propaganda and is actually true. They would need to do a lot of explanation.

Russia should be ashamed of themselves a country with no adequate military, yet they couldn't even defeat them, see has tanked look unkempt ,all this tank they have been using since WW2,I see why they invest much in nuclear missiles
Don't talk just because you hear people speaking. Speak with knowledge. The Ukrainian military has been trained up to NATO standards and they have a personnel strength of about 600k when you add up the reserves.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Unconfirmed News From Russian Military by chronique(m): 5:05pm On Apr 05, 2022

Every nominee is a winner but someone has to go home with it. The fact that wizkid didn't win it doesn't mean he was cheated. If you go by the quality of the album, I can confidently tell you kidjo would win above wizkid even without listening to the album cos of the kind of songs they both do and the message they pass. You don't expect someone of kidjo's age and experience in the industry to be recording rubbish songs.
