Op.. if they like let them import 1b barrel per day, deadline is not even close so why the misinfo as if its a big crime or something terrible just happened.. I tire for una useless comments on here
Do you have sense at all? Why are you typing like your brain is a furniture that you carry around?

What is the essence of sanctioning Russian oil imports? Obviously because of the war and to starve them of funds in prosecuting the war. If we all agree to stop buying oil from Russia so as not to fund the war, why would it now be OK to speed up the quantity we import before the deadline? Isn't that an indirect way of giving them more money in advance? You say you have no problem with them even buying a billion barrels a day, do you understand what that means? That means you want to give them the money they would have earned in a year or two or more, in less than a month. It's like your boss paying you your salary for the next 5 years, in a lump sum under 1 month. Now, tell me how that becomes a morally acceptable move?

OP shut down and stop spewing nonsense.

You only read us still import oil from Russia, your blind eyes never went through 22nd April set as deadline? importing oil at this point is still in line, but after 22nd is not worth it. so shush and stop the misinformation. Ops all round..
If only you had a brain and checked out the story elsewhere, you would have realized that they not only continued to ramp up imports but increased the nos significantly thereby, giving the said "enemy" more money. If they were sincere, they should have actually cut down on the nos, not increasing it.
Crime › Re: My Girlfriend Was RAPED I Don’t Know What To Do by chronique(m): 9:38am On Apr 05, 2022
IdanNla:
My girlfriend was raped around March but did not tell me anything about it not until I came back from school and I found out she is acting strange and I got to put up an act so she did tell me what happen after much act she didn’t tell me but lied about the whole thing but I still put more pressure and she later dropped a voice note telling me how it happened.

That a co worker of hers invited her to his home after work and the same guy had asked her for a relationship which she said no and the guy lockup the matter. So this fateful day she requested or invited her to his house getting there the guy's junior brother left for school cause they are daily part-time student, after his junior ones left, he rolled up weed and started smoking, so during the process of smoking or afterward the whole thing started and she claimed to fight him and scream but the guy overpowered him and had his way with her after which the guy pleaded saying he’s sorry and she left for home and called her best friend which she suggest she reported to the police but my babe told her she don’t wish to pursue any case that the deed has been done already and they both lockup the mater.

And she even talked to the guy the next day at work and the guy was like he’s sorry and bought her prevention drug which she collected and used. After that day the guy wanted to start a connection which she refused and the guy was like what else she did want cause he had already beg so what is with her attitude and the guy lockup with her.

Some weeks later she discovered she was pregnant and she told the guy which the guy gave her 4K for abortion and she collected the money and did the abortion.

After saying all this she pleaded I should not breakup with her cause she don’t know how to manage the aftermath of the breakup and what happened was not her intention that she was sorry such thing happened!! After hearing all these I simple asked her some questions about the incident which she don’t have an answer to:

*1= A guy asked you for a relationship and you said NO that is the more reason you should not give him chance of being close or being with him alone in a room!!!*

*2= You went to visit such guy at home and you wore a gown like a guy whom ask you for a relationship would not touch you when he had the chance of being alone with you in a room?*

*3= The said guy roll up weed and light it right in front of you and you sat there comfortably!!*

*4= You claimed you fight him but you got no bruises on you or your undies gettting torn nor your cloth*

*5= You talked to the same guy the next day after the incident*

*6= You concluded to act like nothing happen !!!*

If you are to be me what would you decide after processing all this Asin put your self in my shoe or If your Senior Brother came for advice from you stating all this what would you advicehuh

Right now am devastated not knowing what to do cause this is the same girl am planning on marrying next year or so and I love her more than I can actually comprehend.. Right now she is avoiding me etc But what I wanted to do right now is filling a case at the police station as breaking up has not cross my heart yet but to punish the dude for what he did..
You better dump that lying girl.

Damn. Can all these countries rest? Too many countries at war/bracing up for war. I wonder why we even have arms in this world in the first place. The amount of money the entire world spends on arms and fighting wars, is enough to make earth paradise for every single inhabitant. Will there ever be peace on planet earth?
Politics › Re: US Increases Oil Imports From Russia by chronique(m):
Lol. When we talk about the hypocrisy of the US, some dumb idiots will attribute it to lack/denial of visa. How do you tell the world that a certain government is bad and that people should avoid buying oil from them so as to starve them of funds from invading smaller countries, but you then go behind to increase your oil purchase from the same country? Isn't that pure hypocrisy at play? Why not stick to your principles and totally starve them of funds as you have proposed? Some morons will still come here to defend this as if their unbilical cord was shipped to America at birth. For those who think most of us that criticize America, hate the US, hear this: we don't hate the US; we simply do not subscribe to the double standards and their leaders engage in. He who comes to equity must come with clean hands.

No. Not from the media. This is where common sense guided by logical reasoning comes in.

Now I want you to think critically.

If Iraq actually has weapons of mass destruction (weapons capable of killing thousands at a go) do you think the US and British would have dare to invade Iraq so confidently? Don't you think a 'mad man' like Saddam wouldn't have hesitated twice to use such weapons on the invading forces the moment they landed on its soil? Think bro.

Let's even assume for once that the US 'honestly' believed that Saddam has weapons of mass destruction, don't you think it is sheer recklessness on their part to put boots on the ground knowing that they could be incinerated by the enemy's weapon of mass destruction?.

The above are just logical possibility tidbits you can ponder to deduct the truth depending on what you believe from your answers.

Now, other facts that led to my conclusion proving that Iraq never had such weapons.

UN weapon inspectors went in there and comb every sites that such weapons could possibly have been hidden, they found NOTHING.

Other evidence where provided, still nothing. The UN concluded that Iraq had no such weapons. Yet, the US disregarded the UN report and still proceeded to bomb and destroy Iraq, Killing more than 500,000 civilians.

Yet, they couldn't turn up any weapon of mass destruction after the war. Till today, we have not seen any Iraq weapons of mass destruction.

So our logical and common sense conclusion was proved right.

Iraq never had such weapons.

The only weapon of mass destruction Iraq ever had was selling oil without the US Dollar.

And we know this because the first thing the invading forces did after bombing Iraq to shred was to turn the Saddam's oil financial arrangement back to the previous Dollar format it was before Saddam changed it. The Financial Times even carried this news back then.

It was never about any stupid weapons; it was about the oil without Dollar scheme Saddam was using which was a very dangerous precedent that other middle Eastern countries could have copied, meaning the compete death of the petrol dollar.
Same reason Libya was destroyed. All that talk of Ghadafi not giving his people freedom was a ruse.

Talk about double standards. Here you have it:

Palestinians/Yemenis/Iraqis women and children making Molotov cocktails, western MSM tagged them TERRORISTS.

Ukrainian women and men made Molotov cocktails to ambush Russian tanks and armored vehicles, western MSM called them HEROES.

Anyone still relying on MSM as it's ultimate source of news is already subjected to mind control. Because that is what they represented.
Once it doesn't tally with the interest of the west, it's termed "bad".

So many people on Nairaland only reason with emotions and unable to think for themselves. How could any sane person expect that a country like Russia can be isolated and has no friends? This is a country with 11 different time zones, with a great history and one of the greatest nations to grace the earth....because it has some few geopolitical disagreement with some few nations in Europe, some Nigerians think it is already isolated.
I tell you. Everyone has a right to support or be against Russia but I find it very annoying when the opposition is based on sentiments and emotions devoid of logical reasoning. The one that annoys me most is when they start saying those who criticize the US and her double standards, are doing so cos they were rejected US visa or that people would rush US visa over that of Russia... Isn't it logical that most people would take a US visa over Russia based on language barrier? If the whole of Europe and South America were speaking English, I can bet you that we won't have as much Nigerians in the US today.

The ban Biden said immediately was 22 April 2022.

The US imports of Russian oil increased by 43% to 100,000 barrel a day past week while it is pressuring Europeans to impose sanctions against Moscow, says the Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Mikhail Popov.

The US import ban has a 45-day exclusion period for existing contracts. Importers are taking advantage of this period to stockpile crude oil from Russia. According to Greenpeace UK data, since the import ban was announced on March 8 to March 27, about 10 Russian oil tankers have arrived in the US.
Lol. Interesting.

The war in Ukraine is beginning to get confusing to those of us outside Europe in general. With the way the west have been going on about Russia, one would be forced to think they are hated all across Europe. Recent events have proven otherwise. What's more shocking is the rally in Germany in support of Russia with over 5000 vehicles on the streets of Berlin as reported. To get that no in Germany in support of Russia, is surprising and goes a long way to show that what we are being made to believe by mainstream media, could be a lot lot further from the truth. Gas that they have not been able to provide for their citizens to reduce poverty, they should offer it to EU? Do you people even listen to some of the things you say? Nigeria should only be thinking of exporting gas when they have been able to adequately provide enough for citizens for cooking and energy, before talking about exporting to Europe. This is the same madness they did with Phcn that makes us supply light to neighboring countries when we don't have stable electricity.

What nonsense are you even saying? Do you understand the gravity of what you are saying? They should approve almost 4bn to a company that hasn't even seen turnover of 100m?
