I have been endlessly for someone to post this thread, although i would have but don`t know how to post a topic, pls help o b4 sumtin else happens.

About the topic, my youthful age was quite memorable and glorious,

Forget the fact that we played mortal kombat, e.t.c make we talk real naija games,

The first was Father and mother with a child, this was the most interesting to me at that time because their were lots of ungodly acts i did aroud that time that even when i think back today, i just laugh,

the second was boju boju o,o,oloro nbo o, eparamo o,o, se kinsi,si,enitoloro bamu,a paje nio, this was also one very interesting game that reminds me of my youthful age,

Thirdly was climbing on trees to pluck whatever fruit was on that tree that was ripe and staying on the trees to eat it.

Fourthly was stealing money in daddy or mummy`s purse to pay to rent bicycles.This was when i was older.

Lastly but not the least was getting used tyres and riding them with a stick. This was the most interesting because then i was very small and all we had on us was either pants or small shorts and by the time we get back, we were very dirty,

I don`t like to discuss threads like this because it brings shame to me as a Nigerian,

It shows the level of our dependency on white people who have got no discipline,no culture,who lack moral standard and all they know is killing one another,

Digressing a little,the problem with Nigeria debit/credit cards i guess, is not in the banks issuing the cards so they re not likely to have good reasons why it could not be used on either a particular website or not e.t.c

It is mainly due to the fact that most of the europeans are still racists and as a result view us as criminals in quote,

Imagine them accepting to ship goods to russia which is known worldwide to be the headquarters of crimes and rejecting countries like nigeria,

What we are supposed to do like many other countries are doing is to try as much as we can to develop our own country.

Because they know that we are dying to come to their country,this is why they have seen us like this and they hold that against us,

Unless that impression changes about us(coupled with the fact that we are black, which i am greatly proud to be anyway),we still continue to have problems with them,

We should be proud of what we are and try to improve on ourselves, this is the only way,although not easy, but we need to start from somewhere,

Although in u.k rite now, i don`t see anyspecial reason in coming to this country for.

It`s sometimes funny to me coming to school in u.k and when i finish school, i go back to Nigeria and will be ahead of those that have got their certificates locally(i mean in nigeria), this shows the extent by which even the europeans rule us even in our own country,

The truth is very hard to believe because most people that will read this are still dying to travel abroad inclusive of people sleeping in Muritala Muhammed Airport in order to come to u.k, imagine that, shame on us,

The truth is very hard to believe but we should not forget that whatever we leave behind undone, we still coming back to it one day,

Hello,nairalanders, please have got some problems and will need your assistance

1. I don`t know how to post topic on this website and also how to highlight another person`s comment in order to refer to it

2.While a friend was helping me to burn some music onto some disc, he tried to protect them. As a result, i found it very difficult to play those songs n realplayer, each time i try this it tells me that it needs to download a licence which obviously i give it chance to download and afterwards it tells me "Bad Image, exception Processing Message 0xc000007b Parameters 0x7650023C 0x7650023C 0x7650023C 0x7650023C and whenever i click on this small window twice, this is when it will now play the music,

Please is there any way i can deprotect or unprotect all the music so that i an play it freely because i go through this process for each and and every song on my laptop,

T tried downloading the songs on itune and it told me that it needed to convert it to a format it can play and in trying to do this, it said it can`t convert protected music,

So please, how can i unprotect the music, i will be expecting reply frm you all soon, 1 luv

The first time i thought of this to myself, i thot that i was existing in another realm with different kind of life different frm others, thank God i have thousands sorry millions of Nigerians that think like me,

My addiction to my laptop is beyond what mouth can express. It has gotten to an extent that i don`t sleep again and find it difficult to eat.

The situation of Nigeria is so corrupt nowadays to the extent that even the outside world knows that Nigeria is corrupt

What i will advise you is that you don`t need to publicise this thing too much even to the extent of people knowing your uncle is collecting so much, and some1 advising you to call him or her,

Tell ur uncle not to rush into things.As soon as the money is paid into his bank account,he shld think deeply about businesses that appreciate in value like buying land,house and stuffs like that, i will partially agree to buying of shares only if he can do his findings very well on shares that are worth the while because not all shares are worth investing on.

He can now divide the money into three i.e
1.He can decide to fix one third but

2.He can decide to invest another one third in appreciable things like i mentioned above(The first two, he knows he is not going to get the return back soon but he knows he is investing greatly for the future

Thirdly and lastly he can find a business that will bring return on investment in the nearest future.This is ry important because he may need money for pressing needs soon and it is not advisable for him to invest all in lon term investment.

My last word is dat he needs to open his eyes and brain very well in engaging in all this and he should look out for professionals in these various fields so that he doesn`t make mistakes.

i had to check options before getting back to you, i tried downloading the driver you sent to me and it told me it was not compatible with my system, i also tried going through the driver site you suggested and tried the realtek high definition sound drive and it still did not work,

Another thing which i tried was going to the sony site again and downloaded the driver again and also tried installing it and it did not work.

One thing i discovered in all of these is that when people were giving there complaint, most people were complaining about upgrading from either home basic or home premium to vista ultimate and not to vista business like mine

What i think now is that possibly vista business is not compatible with sigmatel high definition sound and realtek as well,

I don`t know what you think about it, i `ll be waiting to hear from you.

What i will be doing for now is keep trying from the driver sites you suggested and see which one is compatible

I went thru the following processes which i got from sony.co.uk

From FAQs,i got the following information:
1.Download drivers

2.Uninstall sound card in device manager

3. After the second step, vista will then automatically install the driver

From sony themselves, the recommended the following:
1.Download STDAUD-10 487700-UN.exe and save to download directory

2.Go to download directory and double click

I followed the steps 1 by 1 up till the area of double clicking on the STDAUD, and immediately the computer said if i wanted to run it and i said yes, after running,the computer told me it was going to shut down and re-open itself again and ii chose the option

The problem now is when i later went to device mgr under sound,video and game controller,i saw Sigmatel high
definition AUDIO CODEC and i uninstalled it and expected the computer to automatically install STDAUD, but nothing happened, i tried playing the disc on my media player and still did not hear any sound whatso ever,

Since i did not delete this on my computer, i had to re-install it back,

Pls is there any other thing like sound card apart from this on or possibly i ave still not arrived at what i shld really do

Pls advise me more on this

the model of my computer is vgn-fe41s and the sond driver is sigmatel high definition AUDIO CODEC incorporated in sound,video and game controller

I am using a sony vaio laptop, i checked my device mgr frm where i went to check my sound video and game controller and went to check my high definition audio device and it is telling me that it is working properly, i don`t know what to do next, i ll kip trying and if you have any other suggestion,i ll appreciate a lot
