piusford: There are many Nigerians here in Darwin. Live is good as I have seen. No traffic, but personal vehicle is very necessary. I'm yet to see someone without job for long. People combine two or three jobs here. Living cost is not so much different so far you are earning. Accommodation is a bit high, but it also depends on individual preferences. One can find 270-300 per week for 2 rooms one bath and one car park. It's hot October to November and December. There's no cool here. I like it here. Why do they combine 2 or 3 jobs? Is it because of low availability of full time jobs or do they combine a full time job with a casual job? I am interested in NT |

How is life in Adelaide? Considering the unemployment ish, is it extremely difficult to get a job? Even if it is blue collar jobs just to pay bills? |

[quote author=uchenna2017 post=60700826]You can add other job functions outside anszco as long as the JD is inline with your occupation you are nominating for example Customer service manager but you put JD of sales rep That Won't fly. What if my JD is a mixture of all anzsco jd for CSM and a little of sales rep? |

Good evening house....it is me again. Please help a sister, this VETASSES waka wants to turn me to something else. I am confused on something... 1. Must all the job functions listed on my letter be only on that particular nominated occupation? For example, as a customer service manager i have many job functions inclusive of the ANZSCO tasks. So if my reference letter has all the anzsco tasks in addition to other of my job functions.....would that be a bad thing? 2. @people that has gotten positive assessment from vetassess, was any not so relevant job function added in your reference letter? Bikonu help a sister that is having small heart attack |

I think you got a good result considering that ACS accept experience in lieu of qualification compared to our brother VETASSES....
@oga bellong....i thought that for occupations that are on Skill level 2, work experience can be substituted? |

I will advise you PM me or send me your email. I can share my letters with you. Vetassess will mark you down for working in a bank but theres a way around this. @disectur.....please help a sister |

mamajaz: Yimu, if you get 190 for NT you better go, people sha dey survive there. Of course I will prefer a 190 visa in NT but I heard they rarely give. Please is it likely to get a 190 visa in NT |

SegunWamiri: Lolz, Okies but I believe so hot...is for Australians not for naija
However, if you don't mind the rank of SA on the chart for unemployment rate, you can settle for it.
What's your family size? We are just 4 |

@lalaazo, so if I get a job in another occupation apart from the one I nominated....I can still be eligible for the 887? Then for POF, you know in Canada....it is an average balance over six months that is required? But I want to know if just a Closing balance can fly as an evidence?
@everyone....please is there a slight chance that NT can nominate me on a 190 visa without having a family tie over there |
Travel › Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by chuglothen(f): 6:22am On Aug 22, 2017 |
SegunWamiri: Lolz. As desperate as I am and in dire need of a 190, from the look of things, @ Chuglothen we won't have a choice than to settle for NT or SA's 489. Please calm down and don't stress your self on trying to get a job in Tasmania because of the following factors: 1. The state is the second after SA with the highest rate of unemployment amongst Australian states
2. Since I registered on Australian job websites, I haven't received any alert with the Title Customer Service Manager- Tasmania
3. These employers would rather employ a citizen, a permanent resident holder or someone that is already on ground than wait and go through the stress of employing someone from overseas except that person has got some really.... special skills & abilities.
In conclusion, NT still seems to be the best option despite the POF and asset valuation thingy as it is the state with the lowest unemployment rate in Aussie.
Cheers. Thanks everyone. So there is no closely related occupation to CSM? Ok ooo...diaris God sha. @segun, please this POF for NT....is it like average balance or closing balance that they want? My major concern about 489 apart from the zero benefit is that I heard that you must work in your nominated occupation for 2 years before being eligible for PR. So what if I dont get job in that particular occupation nko? I dont know if i am wrong though. Can more light be thrown on this 489 visa please? |

Dear house, has anyone successfully gotten 190 visa with CSM occupation? Tasmania is sponsoring on 190 but I must present a valid job offer. NT is sponsoring too but the POF no be here.... Or can someone give me a suggestion of another occupation that the JD is closely related to Customer Service Manager I am almost getting depressed..... I am desperate for a 190 visa as me and family does not have the financial muscle to live on 489 visa for 2 years...kids are involved. Please I need all the suggestion i can get |

SegunWamiri: Okies @ Customer service/sales and marketing.
Not sure I understand perfectly how you intend to copy the HR manager of outsourcing agency but I think it's Ok to have your direct line manager sign for you a reference letter and as someone suggested, all he needs to do is to mention the outsourcing agencies as your primary employer. Alternatively, have the two agencies write their references (write for them) and signed mentioning your secondary employer.
@ Chuglothen Acknowledged as a really small office but did they have any pay slip format? Also, how many years did you spend with them and what year did you leave them? Left them in 2013. They do not have any format for payslip. We were paid in cash. But they gave me a go ahead to create payslip |

SegunWamiri: @ Chuglothen: I would have said same too but absence of tax payment on the slip may raise questions. However, you can redesign the pay slips
Also include bank statements reflecting payment of salaries. Cheers It was a really small office so I was paid in cash. I am interested in the redesigning.... Help oooo |
