To help urself from getting seriously burnt by vetassess just like me, I advice u have a phone consultation with their agent, that costs $220 for 30 minutes. If u nominate customer service manager as ur occupation irrespective of ur degree, as long as u have more than 3 years of experience u should be able to get a positive outcome for ur overall skills assessment.(This waiver is only restricted to some occupations tho)

Another thing u can do without consultation first is to nominate zoologist as ur occupation and do a full assessment even with ur banking experience, but u will eventually get a positive outcome for qualification ( comparable to AQF) but negative for ur employment then ur overall outcome will be negative. BUT that won't be d end, you will den proceed to get a POINT TESTS ADVICE from vetassess $380 to get an outcome letter for your degree alone. That will effect your 15 points and it will be taken into consideration by DIBP. I got to learn about this from vetassess on Friday, because we hv been in an ongoing battle for 8 good months

There is no offer for a Zoologist or Zoo keeper if you have checked anzsco search. So check you eligibility and requirement for a customer service manager or any other related occupation. And below are the related occupation to Zoologist

Hi guys, it's been such a long time I dropped by, I forgot my login details and never had the time to reset the password until now. I would like to share my brief experience, to help those who are planning to come to this great country.

I came in 6 months ago and settling down in Sydney wasn't too difficult for me, because I did my homework well and knew what I was expecting in terms of cost of living and job opportunities. I got a house on gumtree.com.au, my friends helped me tidy my resume, I applied to lots of jobs through seek.com.au, and was lucky to get 2 jobs within my first 3 weeks, so I got to choose the best. I did Cert IV in Disability, and I've been working in the Disability Sector and it's awesome. I also changed my course from Master of Accounting to Bsc Nursing.

Some key points to note:
1. Come through PR or scholarship if you can, the school fees is pure extortion
2.Choose Sydney if you can. It's an awesome city with heaps of opportunities, you'll be tired of jobs. I'm not sure about other cities though.
3. Come with some money that can sustain you for a while cos you don't know when you'll get a job. Not everyone is lucky to get a job as soon as they arrive, and I've seen Naija students live here like church rats cos they came with no plan and expected money to fall from trees as soon as the landed.
4. If you want to get a good job after studies, choose your course carefully. Just because a course can give you PR doesn't mean it can give you jobs upon graduation, except you want to work minimum wage jobs all your life. Accounting/finance is one of the most useless courses here, it's only on PR list cos of the revenue it generates, especially from Asian students, don't make that mistake
5. Disability sector is massive with numerous jobs, get your certificate as soon as you arrive if it's your kind of thing, you'll make enough money to cover your bills. Don't bother about aged care cos the pay is shitty and the job more stressful.
6. Nursing is life, you'll never lack jobs and the pay is excellent. IT is so so, cos too many Indians have infiltrated the field.
7. As a student, you can't work full time or part time; only casual and casual jobs pay higher cos you can't get paid holidays etc. And for casual jobs, Aussies don't care much about degree (there are exceptions of course), job experience is bae, so fix your resume as soon as you arrive.
8. Cost of living is the only negative but the high wages make up for that.
9. Sydney is bae. Endless beaches and parks, great restaurants and bars if you like fine dining like I do, rivers and lakes for nature lovers; the list is truly endless. Makes the high cost of living worth it.
10. Coming to Australia is the best decision I have ever made and I love my life here.

For ladies, fake Naija guys will be all over you as soon as they know you're new, use your brain and don't fall for bullshit, take your time and don't let anyone rush you. If you like dating other races and you're good looking, Aussie men like African girls, you'll have decent men hitting on you, then you'll get to choose the best. Take care of yourself and look sharp even before you leave Naija, loose weight if you're fat. Know your self worth, have a focus and most importantly, don't be slutty cos it won't get you anywhere (I'm saying this cos I know a couple of gals here who think that being easy and slutty will get them a hubby and PR )

Thanks for this. But I have a question. I am planning to come and study diploma in nursing in a TAFE school. I intend paying for 1st semester only before coming over. Do you think I can use the casual jobs to put myself through school and also pay my bills. I have a 4years banking experience...can such facilitate my getting a job faster on arrival? And do you think diploma in nursing can afford me decent jobs over there before saving money to go for a Bsc in nursing. Lets get the fact right, Igbos didn't develop Lagos rather, it was Lagos that shaped and made the Igbos what they are today. Without igbos in Lagos, Lagos will remain Lagos and without Lagos, most Igbos may likely be nothing.

Reason for my assertion is that most giant and top companies that attracts millions of people across the country to Lagos are not owned by the Igbos so, how has Igbos shaped and developed Lagos?

This are the achievements and economic advancement Igbos gave Lagos and Lagosians; tokunbo and fake spare parts at Ladepo Market, China Electronics and pirated CDs at Alaba market, bend-down select cloths at Idumota and yaba and kotangowa market, Chinese and tokunbo computers accessories and phones at Computer village Ikeja are Igbos economical achievement and contribution to Lagos. In fact, most Igbos are causing nuisance in Lagos. A visit to this markets will tell you the amount of nuisance that Most Igbos has caused in Lagos. The environments this Igbos traders are mostly populated are always polluted with waste of all sorts, they are dirty, stinking, rough, erection of illegal shops on road, on pipeline and railway lines are encouraged in this market places that causes traffic gridlock and other dangerous acts and when Lagos state government dismantle this illegal shops, they get angry, if Lagos state government close their shops for environmental violation, they pick offence. How then has the Igbos developed Lagos?

As long as am concerned, PZ, COCA-COLA, 7UP, CADBURY, MTN, ZAIN, GLO, ETISALAT, DANGOTE, SHOP-RITES, GOLDEN PENNY, FLOUR MILL, INDOMIE, UNILEVER, P&G, CHI LIMITED, GUINNESS, NIGERIA BREWERIES, OANDO, CONOIL, TOTAL, MOBIL, CHEVRON, SHELL, AQUADANA, KFC, EKO HOTEL, INTER CONTINENTAL HOTEL, PROTEA HOTEL, JULIUS BERGER, RCC CONSTRUCTION, NESTLE, KPMG, GSK, FRISLAND FOOD, WAMCO, BRITISH AMERICA TOBACCO, FLOUR MILL, SCHLUBEGER, AIT, SILVERBIRD TV, CHANNELS TV, LARFARGE, etc are not own by the Igbos. This companies are what attracted millions of people to Lagos.

Igbos shouldn't lay claim that they develop a place by becoming nuisance. Most of the top churches in Lagos are not also owned by Igbos. House on the Rock, Redeem, Christ Embassy, Deeper life, living faith, MFM, etc are not owned by Igbos, the only church that's reasonable that's owned by an Igbo man is TREM, while another Igbos church Lord Chosen church encourage nuisance in Lagos and it also double as the most dirtiest church in Lagos.

Records shows that 75% of robbery cases in Lagos are carried out by Igbos, 85% of ritual cases in Lagos are carried out by Igbos, 60% of drug cases in Lagos are carried out by Igbos, 70% of fraud cases in Lagos are carried out by Igbos, 90% of pirated CDs in Lagos are carried out by Igbos, 60% of fake and Adulterated drugs in Lagos that has kill thousands of Lagosians are carried out by Igbos, in fact, most of the crimes in Lagos are related to the Igbos so how has Igbos developed Lagos when they can't get their hands off crimes?

There's no Igbo man among the top three richest people in Nigeria, so how are they successful?

The truth is that Igbos should be grateful that the Yorubas accommodated them in Lagos peacefully, they shouldn't take the Meekness and kindness of the Yorubas for granted.

Igbos didn't make Lagos but its actually Lagos that made Igbos.
