ok I would explain ... From you assertion, you noticed this conflict last week but I have told you there has been seeds planted and watered for a while now...if your claim is true, then I would say you are just seeing the germination process ... Now to answer your question, the mere fact that some IGBOS can even have the notion that Lagos belongs to nobody is a blatant disrespect to thier host regardless of your understanding that it's an old saying... Do you know how near impossible for a Yoruba man to buy land on Igbo soil ? You will harldy find anyone to sell to you but we as Yoruba people having gone past tribalism, happily accommodate any and all people as long as you abide by the rules of the land to now come and hear your guests saying your land is no man's land ... You won't take it on Igbo soil so don't behave that way in a land where respect, kindness and gratefulness is held to high esteem. ... It's not a matter of dragging business or land or woman or anything ... We really have nothing to drag... I am only saying, you don't insult your host and expect nothing to happen...
Show me how many persons of Igbo origin that contested election in Lagos both governorship and house of assembly?
How can Igbos take over Lagos politically aside doing their business? its not possible!
You lots are just rookie in the hands of politicians.
Buhari was president 8 years, go and ask ordinary Kastina indigene what he benefitted from Buhari.
Yea Politics is dirty game but to lump all non indigenes as Igbos thinking you are fighting Igbos. sorry you will remain slaves in the hands of politicians.

Same things was said, yet he won 16 states if not more.. Don't underestimate LP and obi.. They will expand and throw much shocker subsequent elections.. Watch and see.. Mark this comment and date.

Unless free and fair elections is not guaranteed.. Else if LP will take over..

You pushed Yoruba people to the wall and Lagos has spoken. Go back to your SE states and convert it to glory. LP already won the governorship of some states there, support them and let them build Abia to be like Lagos so no one will intimidate you again.

Sorry I'm not in lagos and never lived there and will never live there. That's the kind of society you want to live in with backwardness. No wonder Nigeria is a cesspit. Maybe you think everybody lived in lagos. Sorry!! You can eat and swallow your lagos.. The fact remains all Nigerians contribute to the greatness of lagos. Yes lagos is yoruba land. Are igbos dragging ilorin, oshogbo and ibadan too? Why this tribalism?? Lagos is cosmopolitan just like onitsha.. In onitsha you will see people from the whole country living and doing business there..

All your arguments is centred on tribalism. Allow a free and fair election like sane countries do. I am apolitical, I dont support any candidate.. Just act for one like a country with sane minds and hold a free and fair election devoid of what we saw yesterday..

Nigeria is mockery at the international scene and clear signs of a failed state.. Both igbos and yorubas are in their millions living in other countries., working and contributing to sane countries. If you believe this election is normal then I doubt your sanity too.

NapoleonHill:
The influence and meddling of the Igbos in SW politics has returned Sanwo Olu as governor. It also got sympathy votes for Tinubu in some quarters among the Yorubas.

What makes it worse is, many of the Yoruba who pushed the Obi narrative could not bear a Chinedu administration in Lagos. We all know he has more leaning towards the Igbo tribe than the Yoruba.

To make matters worse, this accidental opportunist of a governorship candidate cannot compose a simple sentence in yoruba without sounding like a toddler who's learning to speak, even if it means rehearsing it a million times.

The Igbos, who had thought the presidential election result in Lagos was their doing alone, soon realised there's a missing piece this time. This election is different and the environment is hostile.

If you're still wondering what the missing piece is, it's simple and clear. The Yorubas withdrew their support.
Before you start chest beating. Why don't you allow a free and fair election so Apc can test their popularity? In a free and fair election, Apc will loose squarely. APCs strategy is thuggery, voter suppression and rigging.. Stop making it sound like igbo vs yoruba. The sane yorubas are tired of Apc and Tinubus controll of lagos.

Their idea of an effective electoral act is one where APC losses all elections.
If Jonathan applied the thuggish character of Tinubu or the extremist tendency of Buhari, Do you think Apc will be in power at the national level today.. Pre 2015 the people assisted tinubu and buhari to upsurp power from meek Jonathan.. Now Apc is assuming the tyrannical behaviour of Pdp of yesteryears.. I hope Apc government favor you like they did to you the last 8 years.

We will continue to remind them that Lagos is 'no man's land' until they learn to respect themselves, you can choke on that
Read my comments again, I did not say yorubas should attack and insult igbos freely. I clearly labelled anybody attacking another tribe as fools. You have to judge people individually and not collectively. Sane yorubas and igbos inter marry, goes to schools together, does businesses together, live together in peace and harmony..

Only the fools, uneducated and miserable ones are tribalist. My point remains lagos is originaly yoruba land whether you have generation's of other tribes residing there or not. It's been yoruba land both geographically, linguistically, regionally, traditionally..

Peter Gregory Obi is a Nigerian businessman and politician who served as the Governor of Anambra State from 2006 to 2007 and again from 2008 to 2014. He is a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and is considered to be one of the most successful governors in Nigeria's history.

Obi's tenure as Governor of Anambra State was marked by a number of major accomplishments. He implemented policies that helped to spur economic growth and development in the state, including the establishment of a number of new industries and the construction of new infrastructure. He also worked to improve the delivery of public services, such as education and healthcare, and helped to reduce poverty and unemployment.

One of Obi's most notable achievements was his efforts to improve the state's finances. He inherited a state that was heavily in debt, but through a series of cost-cutting measures and revenue-generating initiatives, he was able to pay off much of the debt and leave the state with a budget surplus. He also worked to increase transparency and accountability in government by implementing a number of financial and administrative reforms.

Obi's tenure as governor was not without its challenges, however. He faced opposition from some members of the political establishment who opposed his policies and reforms, and he also had to contend with a number of security challenges, including ethnic and religious conflicts. Despite these challenges, he was able to maintain a relatively stable and secure environment in the state.

Today, Obi remains an influential figure in Nigerian politics. He is widely respected for his business acumen and his ability to get things done, and is considered to be a potential candidate for higher office in the future. His tenure as governor of Anambra State is widely regarded as a model for other states to emulate, and his contributions to the development of the state will be long remembered.

Obi's achievements during his tenure as governor of Anambra State, earned him several accolades, among which is the award of "The Best Governor in Nigeria" by the Financial Times, UK; The "African Governor of the Year" by the African Leadership Magazine, and "The best performing Governor" by the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies.

In conclusion, Peter Obi is a man of many parts, his achievements as a businessman and his tenure as governor of Anambra State has made him a role model for many, his contributions to the Nigerian political landscape and his ability to turn around the state's economy is undeniable.

ProgrammingChat GPT Article On Bola Ahmed Tinubu by Chukdobz20(op): 2:49pm On Jan 22, 2023
So i asked Chat GPT to write an article on Bola Ahmed Tinubu
Find below for the answers

Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu, popularly known as Bola Tinubu, is a Nigerian politician and a former governor of Lagos State. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential politicians in Nigeria, and is credited with transforming Lagos State into the economic and financial powerhouse that it is today.

Tinubu's political career began in the early 1990s, when he was appointed as a senator in the Nigerian National Assembly. He went on to become the governor of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007, during which time he implemented a number of policies and initiatives that helped to spur economic growth and development in the state.

One of Tinubu's most notable achievements as governor was the establishment of the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund, which provided financial assistance to small and medium-sized businesses in the state. This helped to create thousands of new jobs and greatly contributed to the state's economic growth. Tinubu also implemented a number of infrastructure development projects, such as the construction of new roads, bridges, and other public works.

In addition to his political and economic achievements, Tinubu is also known for his strong commitment to social justice and human rights. He has advocated for the rights of women and minorities, and has been an outspoken critic of corruption and political abuse of power.

Today, Tinubu remains an influential figure in Nigerian politics. He is a leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), one of Nigeria's main political parties, and is widely considered to be a potential candidate for the presidency in the future.

Despite the criticisms and controversies, Tinubu's political career is undeniable and has a significant impact in the Nigerian political scene. He is known for his grassroots mobilization strategy, which has helped him to build a large and loyal following among the people of Nigeria. His political acumen and ability to connect with the electorate has made him one of the most powerful and influential politicians in Nigeria today. His contributions to the development of Lagos State during his tenure as governor and his role in the formation of the All Progressives Congress, a major opposition party in Nigeria, are considered to be among his most significant contributions to the Nigerian political landscape.

Hey bro, go to NIS HQ Abuja that's were the error can be corrected from the database. You will need to apply to the comptroller in charge of passports for correction, once approved and rectified you can capture and get a new one.

Unfortunately, NIS is heavily corrupt, if you apply officialy you will never get a response. You need to go to Abuja and find an officer to pay to push your application and get it rectified. Your application is most likely dumped somewhere gathering dust until you do the needful Nigerian style.

Also be careful alot of officers will take your cash and still don't have the balls to push your application. Look for a senior officer with connections!!!
