Focus Naija can report that while the victim lamented how difficult it was for him to earn the money that he was swindled of, the suspected scammer could be seen making gestures of mockery.

Victim/suspect of foiled cult clash

A lady simply identified as Blessing Oghule is currently detained by the Delta State Police Command.

Focus Naija can report that she was arrested alongside other suspects during a raid of black spots at the Abraka axis of Asaba, Delta State.

According to the police spokesman, DSP Bright Edafe, “One (1) english berreta pistol with five (5) live 9mm ammunition, five (5) suspected stolen phones, one hand bag containing weeds suspected to be Indian hemp, one (1) nylon bag containing substances suspected to be ice and ten (10) wraps of substances suspected to be cocaine were recovered from her.

Meanwhile, a broad daylight clash between two rival cult groups was averted at Ofuoma-Ughelli when the D.P.O in charge led operatives to the scene of the melee.

It was gathered that other suspects took to their heels on sighting the approaching police patrol team but a 32-year-old man, Happy Ighorowhodje who was severely injured on his head was arrested.

He was later rushed to the General Hospital, Ughelli for treatment after a fabricated revolver and five bullets were recovered from him.

Security Operatives can be seen escorting peaceful protesters in Ughelli, Delta State as they marched today in memory of the ones lost during the #Endsars Protests.

Dozens of police squads in different marked vans trailed behind the protesters in commemoration of the violent nationwide protests that started from Ughelli last year.

As peaceful #ENDSARSMemorial protesters were seen marching across the town, dozens of police officers in their marked operational vehicles were captured escorting them in Ughelli, Delta State.

Focus Naija can report that this is in remembrance of the violent protests that started from the town and swept across the nation in 2020.

According to sources, the presence of the security operatives is not to instill fear but to ensure that hoodlums do not hijack the procession to unleash mayhem as recorded before.

Footage From The Scene Where A Young Driver Ran His Saloon Car Into An Electric Pole In Delta

Thank God for the lives that were saved earlier today when a young man ran his saloon car into an electric pole in Oteri-Ughelli, Delta State.

A panic stricken eyewitness told Focus Naija that the vehicle was heading towards Ovwor-Olomu axis through the Oteri New Road when the driver suddenly swerved off the road.

The electric pole, it was gathered, acted as a resistance otherwise there would have been many casualties recorded.

However, as at the time of filing this report, a woman who sustained head injury was been rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Final year students of the Department of Business Administration of the defunct Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro hurriedly submitted their scripts and fled from their examination halls when unknown persons suspected to be cultists opened fire on campus.

Focus Naija can report that the gunshots disrupted the ongoing final exams on Tuesday, 5th October, 2021 as lecturers and students ran helter skelter for safety.

According to multiple reports, suspected members of two rival cult groups that had besieged the school campus waiting for the graduation of some of their elite members clashed outside the examination halls.

It was gathered that the misunderstanding had snowballed into the exchange of gunfire in which one person was alleged to be fatally injured.

However, as at the time of filing this report, efforts to reach the management of the institution to ascertain the condition of the alleged injured victim proved abortive but an eyewitness sent the video from the scene as captured below;

No fewer than 9 persons have reportedly lost their lives in the Alafin Sabo Idi Odun area of Oyo State on Monday, 4th October, 2021 when a tree fell on them.

Focus Naija can report that the victims included market women and their children that were taking cover from a heavy downpour.

According to an eyewitness report sent to our news desk, the victims and others caught up by the rain found shelter in a meat seller’s makeshift shop that was under the huge tree.

Suddenly a mysterious breeze started blowing, removing the roof of buildings and fuel station around. Oblivious of the tragedy lurking around to befall them, the huge tree fell and crushed nine of them to death.

Lagos APC chieftain, Joe Igbokwe has reacted to the burning down of his house in Nnewi, Anambra State.

Recall, Focus Naija had reported that the chieftain’s house in his hometown was burnt on Sunday after it was torched by unknown arsonists.

According to Joe Igbokwe, while sharing a footage of the burning house on his official page said it has been sacrificed and all glory should be given to God because no lives were lost.

Ajali police station in Anambra State is currently on fire with many trapped as unknown gunmen allegedly eliminated six police officers.

A video of the unfortunate incident that occurred on Thursday, 30th September, 2021 has been obtained by Focus Naija.

In the clip, the police station and patrol van were captured burning while sympathizers tried to rescue those that are still trapped inside.

However, an eyewitness said the attackers came to the town with Lexus Car putting on red and black clothing and shot one policeman and one civilian first.

Currently, the road leading to Oko, a nearby town has been blocked as there is ongoing exchange of gunfire between security forces and the attackers.

Nigerians have been told to boycott the services of popular airline, AirPeace over the maltreatment of passengers in Lagos and Abuja airports.

Focus Naija can report that multiple videos show staffs of the airline at different times locking up their gates against passengers with delayed flights.

In one of the videos, a woman was heard telling the staffs that it is not their fault but the situation of the country, that if the country was peaceful nobody will board them again.

“In my own case, they dropped my luggage and called security to beat me up”, another maltreated passenger wrote.
