A lady woke up her sleeping boyfriend and pranked him that operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC are searching for him.

Some northern traders have been killed in yet another attack in Imo State.

According to Aminiya, a Hausa publication of Daily Trust, the killings were recorded last week.

Four people were reportedly killed in Orlu while three were murdered in Amaka town.

Dr. Lawan Yusuf, a resident of Owerri, Imo State capital, blamed the attacks on members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

“Even yesterday the IPOB attacked some northerners who sell meat and killed three people. We have already buried them.”

“Whenever they meet northerners in their business location, they ask whether they have permit to live in Biafra, and if they say no, they (IPOB) will beat you with weapons; many of our people have been killed that way,” he said.

Yusuf said officers were deployed to only a residential area dominated by northerners, Oma-Hausa “But there is no security personnel in the other areas and honestly we are living in fear.”

At least, 11 northerners have been killed in the last two weeks in Imo.

Meanwhile, hundreds of northerners have reportedly vacated the state.

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo had last week assured northern community in the state of his government’s determination to protect them and their property.

According to him, discrimination due to his choice of dressing started from the gate of the establishment when the security man refused him entry.

A Twitter user, Uba Joseph has revealed that the secondary school where he teaches has introduced programming to its curriculum.

In response to a tweet by Chi Money seeking opinions on whether getting down on a first date makes a lady cheap, another Twitter user identified as Abhaq waded in on the subject that it does.

According to him, getting down with a guy on the first date will make him lose trust and feel that the lady is also accessible to other men.

SDP Governorship Aspirant Wants To Build Six Skyscrapers In Warri, Says Allocation Is Enough To Build The Moon (Screenshots)

Social Democratic Party Governorship aspirant, Ohwo Benson Ighotoma wants to build six skyscrapers in the commercial city of Warri when elected as Governor of Delta State in 2023.

Following the rescue of a kidnap victim, William Aduwoma from Aradhe Bush by a team of operatives led by the Divisional police officer of Ozoro, CSP Ogedengbe Areguamen, four male suspects have been arrested in connection to the crime.

Focus Naija can report that the suspected kidnappers were forced to abandon the victim and fled from the pressure of the officers closing in on them.

According to a statement issued by the acting Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Edafe Bright, the arrested suspects were identified as Nwachukwu, Oletu Augustine, Obi Francis and Udumubra Okema.

They were arrested at their various hideouts in Aradhe community and Iyeriri Qtrs in Ozoro and the Infinix Phone and car key belonging to the victim was also recovered from them.

They have all confessed to the crime and effort is in top gear to arrest other members of the gang.

The press release reads in part;

You will recall that from the press release issued by the command on 1st April 2021, where the Divisional police officer Ozoro, CSP Ogedengbe Areguamen, mobilized men to the Aradhe Bush and rescue one William Aduwoma Unhurt, after the suspects abandon him and ran away due to the pressure from the police.

The Commissioner of police Delta state ordered that those suspect must be arrested, so they can be made to face the law, the Divisional police officer Ozoro Division also did not relent. After tireless effort by the police, and swift intelligence gathering, on 2/4/2021, four suspects, Nwachukwu ‘m’ age 24yrs, Oletu Augustine ‘m’ age 35yrs, Obi Francis ‘m’ age 25yrs all of Aradhe Community and Udumubra Okema ‘m’ age 35yrs of Owhelogbo Road ozoro, were arrested in their various Hideout in Aradhe community and Iyeriri Qtrs Ozoro, they have all confessed to be members of the gang that kidnap the said William Aduwoma who was earlier rescued by the police. Infinix Phone, Car key, belonging to the victim was recovered from them, also Daggers and charms were recovered from them, effort is on top gear to arrest the fleeing members of the gang, and in no time, they will be arrested and brought to book.
