How many times will you be told that money in the TSA wouldn't be used to fund budget. All the road projects earmarked by the minister of works has been reviewed by the national assembly and passed in the budget. If he ,Mr fashola decided to spend additional money. It'll have to go through due prrocess involving the national assembly.
Moreover mr fashola says 2trillion naira will be needed to complete the ongoing projects. What is in the TSA is 2.9trillion. You shouldn't expect him to even get 400bn from there (assuming NASS consent to his future demands

What fashola is trying to say is, Don't expect much from the Ministry of works. If ONGOING project will cost 2trillion which we don't have. This means there will be no need for any future road project because it means we'll just be pilling up abandoned projects that will need more and more trillions to complete.

Yes yu can, you'll need to scan the document, yur means of identification & utility bill + your teller showing you have deposited the money. Although the firstbank in my area helped me scan and do all those things but you can do it yourself if you can't get to the island.

This very report is the reason that budget has not been passed. Things have not worked out according to the government's projections they are now scared to sign their own budget because the deficit will rise from the 2.2 trillion to 4 trillion or more. The government has done a very bad job with that budget and just wishing on dumb luck that there will be a meteoric rise in oil prices.

Imagine a budget where they believe we will generate about 3.6 trillion naira from NON-OIL services, whereas we were able to generate just 1.08trillion in 2014, a MASSIVE 2trillion naira increase!!! The budget is not feasible atallzzzz......riding on false hopes to hoodwink nigerians. Our GDP growth is falling every quarter, how would our revenue increase when growth is dropping The body language of this administration is offensive so much that foreign investors are fleeing. How then do we build our falling reserves if we cannot attract Investors....That 2016 budget was badly draw, now I see why they'v been playing "ten-ten" with its implementation.

My man that has been the quote during jonathans administration & now.....and mind you our refineries are not working @ 70%. But at 60%. Often times we were lied to, and told they were now operating @ 80% because of the turn around maintenance(T.A.M). Only for another person to come out in the media and say the refineries are dead. Let's just keep our hands crossed for the dangote refinery coming on board

Why is this news? Both refineries have always been producing between 6-7million litre/day for years now. So what are we celebrating?
We consume 40million litres daily and our half dead refineries produce just 10-12million litres of pms and we shuld jump up & be happy? We can sha celebrate mediocrity!!!
We should celebrate when we can be able to refine enough pms to fill our 40million litres/day need #kapish

Even then, our refineries can only supply 17-20million liters of what we need. That leaves 20-50million liters needed for import...of which NNPC is only able to import 38million a day.

And we need to remove fuel subsidy so that marketers can increase prices....yes to N150 and above....but they would have enough naira to get enough dollars at parallel market rates (CBN resticitions makegetting dollars difficult) to import fuel

Will removal of fuel subsidy mean there will always be fuel? Not realy bro, that's just a speculation. Its like placing our hopes in the hands of the markerters. Collectively under one umbrella, these major oil marketers(MOMAN) have often times decided to hoard petrol so they can press home their demand.
What makes you think they cannot all "gang-up" and make fuel scarce when subsidy is removed? Remember the major marketers are in one Union called moman.
When people liken their case to telecomunications where competition drove down call tarriffs, I just laugh. Because MTN,etislat and co are not under any Union like these marketers. These marketers collectively agree to do things like hoarding fuel. The only way out is to produce a refinery. At the moment dangote rrefinery seems to be the way forward, thus the project ought to be hastened. Subsidy removal to increase competiton amongst marketrs is still speculation. And from past experiences, it doesn't look like it'll work.

You loaded today 38million litres of pms. Statistics say Nigerians consume 40million litres/day. So we are already 2million litres short of pms + how many will you load tomorrow and how often?
Abi you will load 38million today, then it'll take 3days before another 38million litres will be loaded

1. Yes you got most of it except that when you get in matters! You will only get paid when payment is due which is Jan for (Oct-Nov-Dec), April for (Jan-Feb-Mar), July for (April-May-Jun), Oct for (Jul-Aug-Sep). So when you get into the fund will decide how your payment will be. If for example you get in 1st Jan, it means you get paid in April for the first 3 months, you then withdraw all your principal by April ending (considering your 4 months timing), then you get paid again in July for the funds you had with them for month (April). If however you get in say Feb 1st, you get paid for 2 (Feb and Mar) months in April, you withdraw your funds in May and in July you get the other two months (April and may). Note you can take your principal at anytime... no charges if after the holding period (1 month) and if before the holding period, a penalty of 20% of profit earned....your principal is given back to you intact.

2. I think they charge 1% but I have refused to confirm this because it doesn't matter...rates are net charges so how much any fund manager charges in this scenario is of no benefit to an investor. Note I said in this scenario. I will try and explain...if FBN says they would give 7% and charges 1%...that means they made 8%. If StanbicIBTC says they would give 7.2% and charges 5%...that means they make 12.2%. Of what benefit is the rates they charge to me when all I want is my share? I only need to go with whoever pays better regardless of the charge.

Thanks! Yes it is 7%, records on their website for the last 3monts hovers between 7-7.8%. So long the principal is secured, I dnt have a problem. Firstbank has been offering 3% f.deposit since december, so I had to seek better option. Thnks tho
