Nice one op! I'll like to add, there's the most deadly attack now called CRYPTOWALL RANSOMWARE, if you pc is attacked your files will be encrypted ...all your files renderinmg yur pc useless. Hackers will tell you to pay via BITCOIN, and BITCOIN has high security, so tracing them thru such payment is almost Impossible SOLUTION: You'll have to format your Harddrive To get rid of the malware if affected PREVENTION: always have a backup for the files on your drive just incase of an attack & avoid clicking links & attachments you don't know its source while browsing REMEMBER, THIS HACK STYLE IS VERY VERY EFFECTIVE !!!

KENZYYONG:Mr economist, I'll like to have yu know that the cause of our inflation today is not because banks were pumped huge liquidity because of the TSA policy that affected them.... When CBN pumped liquidity into the banking sector it did so, so banks could stimulate growth in the economy by lending to individuals in the SME's. But did it work , NO!!! Our countrys GDP growth has been dropping every quarter. Currently @ 2.8%.....How does raising interest rate improve the prices of commodoties in the market? The effects are not long term. Until CBN address our forex issue, this is just a "try ur luck approach" as they have always done! But for investors like me, its good news coz Tbills rate and f.deposit will shoot up! |
Bawsse:Its not rocket science. For fixed deposits, the rates are steady rising currently about 5-6.5% per annum So if you have like 2million naira lying idle. Walk into any bank and ask for their rate ,at a 5% rate you'll get 100,000 gross profit or more depending on the rate offered from your bank.....For t.bills(treasury bills) visit this thread www.nairaland.com/878880/treasury-bills-nigeria....you'll find all you need there |
Rather than wail shout and curse at the impending difficulties....if you have money that's been lying in your savings account doing nothing, Now its time to either Invest in T-bills/f.deposit.....ask for the Best possible rate & let your money bear fruits for you while you sleep. #Rather than wail, be wise and forge ahead!!! |
The monetary policy was implemented to FIGHT INFLATION. They say 744billion has been pulled out from circulation yet our Inflation rate still stands @ 11%. Abeg who is deceiving who? |
Ximonak:Taskforce to be monitoring kini? So you think I'll let a nepa official come into my house to check my PRE-PAID metre? Oga yarn like a true nigerian, some mischeivous nigerians are the reason these pre-paid metres are not dished out. Coz it means lower revenue for them if nigerians continue with the inappropriate behaviour of deciding which electrical appliances should prepaid metre be adjoined with |
This re-affirms what thiis popular saying is all about.....TOO many people spend money that they do not own, to impress people they do not know. He should have taken fried chicken and sharwama so he can impress you and make you call him O.B.O abiii Rubbish

Paentera:Mr man, Are you teaching me how to read a light bill? The fixed charges hasn't been removed in our light bill . The light bill of feburary I paid this month, contained fixed charge and the new tarrif. Maybe its been aboliished in your area but still exists here. I'll wait for the Next bill to see if fixed charge still remains. And as for you referring me to so so site, I'll say I deal with what's on ground not some propaganda shii. If you have someone living @ the south-east. Ask bout their rate! Pratiical over theory! |
ogawisdom:I doubt bro, as of februray they offered 3.5% . Now that cbn offered a new monetary policy, bank fd rates are beginning to spike up. But 8% impossible. |
Ximonak:That estimated bill eh na read money grubbing! E for make sense say everybody dey use pre-paid metres but some people dey bypass their ac and big big appliiance direct to the grid. Na only small things like fan bulbs na I'm prepaid meter dey power. As nepa pple don sabi wassap , dem don stop to dey give prepaid metre come dey charge dose wey no get prepaid wosky charges. So in otherwords. We dey pay for the sins of our prepaid metre brothers |
idupaul:All the roads leading there? Roads that were left under the care of Local govt chairmen abi? |
Ecobank and FCMB will pay between 5-6% Diamond bank will pay 6.5% for 1million & above. For now. These are the ones I know #avoid UBA, Zenith or firstbank. Their rates are below par. It seems they have enough liquidity to run their biz! |
Even if it happened in Edo state, it could be at a local government....Our local govt chairmen do virtually nothing while governors gets the tongue-lashing............DO NOT BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ ONLINE!!! |
Formely on the Phcn bill is a tariff of 15.63 naira/kilowatt. Now Its 22naira kilowatt on the new bill. About 50% Increase! **************************************** E.g Mr Chuks consumes 300kw of power in january Phcn charges him 15.63/kwh His Bill = 300 * 15.63 = 4689 (Vat & fixed charge not inclusive) *************************************** Due to Increase in Tariff, Mr Chuks decides to reduce his consumption from 300kw to 250kw in February Phcn charges him a new tarriff of 22kw/h His Bill = 250 * 22 = 5500(Vat & fixed charge not inclusive) ************************************** CONCLUSION: Despite the fact Mr chuks REDUCED his monthly CONSUMPTION to reduce expenses & Improve his standard of living, the FG has already CONDEMNED him to HARDSHIP with the Massive Tarrif! #God help Naija!!! |
Pure scam! At festac here, under eko distribution company(ekedc) we aare charged about 22naira/kilowatt yet Fixed charge of #750 still exist......I was at anambra 2wks ago, and their own charge is 27naira/kilowatt with fixed charge included. Fashola said a new tariff but without a fixed charge yet he hasn't stuck to his word. I'm compelled to believe that the south east is paying more for electricity than south west but make I dey observe sha. |
adanny01:We are still saying the same thing. The details mr president seeks should be provided by his special advisers on national assembly matters. If they can't help facilitate it, then I do not know what their work is.......This little issue could drag for another month and half, and we would have spent 5months without a budget. Then implementation of the budget will now be below par coz of slow-start. |
Abeg what's Ita enang doing? He is the Senior special adviser to the president on national assembly matter. We also have suleiman abdulrahman who is a special adviser on national assembly matters. These people are the eyes & nose of mr president in the national assembly, if mr president needs details I believe it shouldfirst come from them.....meanwhile is the appropiation deal done in secrecy? If any detail was tampered with, isn't it supposed to be public seeing that the senate house session is always televised live....why ask for details that was debated in public? What are the special advsiers on national assembly doing? |
TechsNG:Kpele, atleast now u have learnt from experience but from ur ordeal theclone wasn't so sophiisticated. If you handle the s5 clone, my goodness! It can almst every frigging thing but resolution is shitty! |
Most of all, go on youtube and check out how to identify "clones" of a phone.....I'v handled a samsung s5 clone bought for just 20k...it can do almost everything the original s5 can do. But the sell out was that the resolution is dull, missing features, different layout and other inconspicuous things that are hard to identify with the Untrained eye. Even you OP can fall for a cloned phone. Boiz are getting more dubious by the day, so you too should get smarter!!! Always Google out difference between the original and clone of your desired phone. Many people own clones but think they are original fones. |
Fixed deposits too also on the increase Ecobank offering 5% rate for 30days 6% for 90days Fcmb offering between 5-6%, the stingy banks like First bank offered 3.5% 30days as of last month. Let's see how they'll jack up their rate with this news.......the news should spike Fixed deposit rate, while 2016 passed Budget should spike up T.bills discounted rate. |
mecussey:You are actually not getting the point. All I'v been saying is what you did to lose weight and not what you did to gain weight. Talking about 4bottle of beer or 2plates of semo is going "off-point". I'm not interested in how you accumulated kilos.....My argument still remains how you can't lose 5kg in 2days "without exercise".....A nutritionist or a dietician will not start asking you what and what you ate to achieve so so weigh, they go straight to the weigh loss prog. And you made lots of bogus statement 1) You cannot gain 1kg from 4bottles of beer 2) You cannot gain 1kg from 2plates of fufu or semo 3) You don't lose weight by excretion (shitting) I'v saaid it countless time, its not rocket science 1kg = 7000calories. If you want to add 1kg in a day, Increase your daily calories by 7000. If a bottle of beer contains 300calories, this means to gain 1kg from beer drinking in a day means Drinking bout 23 bottles of beer = (300 * 23 = 6900calories) So drinking a mere 4bottles is a far cry to 1kg gain....You need my tutoriaal on this subject, lol. |
Weah96:Yea right, those are professionals who do countless hours of training. That's why I put "except he did 8hrs of jog" coz without workout, 5kg in 2daays is a No No! |
mecussey:Hehe....well you aactually provided the constant when you said you lost 5kg "Without exercise". That exercise was the constant I was searching for. If you hadn't said that, then I might not have stretched this talk coz I know heavy workout can do magic. Anywayz, you said you'll likely upload a pic of ur weight loss next time with a clear eyes, lol #so till then.......:-) |
mecussey:You must have checked yur weight with a woozy eyes! You cannot lose 5kg in 2days except you exercised for like 8hours stretch like you did a marathon. You have not been checking it correctly. Even if a bottle of beer contains 300calories, what determines how fast you burn fat is your BMR-Basic metabolic rate. Which depends on size, age & physical activity. I exercised 3-5times weekly weigh bout 95kg and mid 20's.....my BMR requires about 3300kcal to maintain my weight per day. Now if I don't eat in a day. Theoretically, I will be short of 3300 calories for that day. 2days means 3300kcal *2 = 6600calories, which is still not upto 1kg ooh (7000kcal =1kg). And remember the smaller you become, the lower the calories your body will need. So to spike my body to consume 10000caloies in 2days, I'll need to do heavy heavy exercise to burn xtra 4000calories between that two 2days While starving 2days also....you see how hard it is to lose weight? 10,000calories is not even upto 2kg despite my harsh weight loss program..........Bruh trust me u checked with a woozy eyes! |
coolscott:Everything is in alliance with the 2016 budget. Since the budget has been passed, they are making concise effort to see that the budget gets necessary funding. If you recall, the 2016 fg budget is funded 79% from Non-oil sources. As of 2014, Nigeria generated about 1.08trillion naira and this year our budget says we will generate 3.5trillion revenue from Non-oil sources....That's 2trillion increase !!! It sounded ridiculous how our govt intends to achieve such feat but with these taxing policies and more to come in future. We seem to be the scape goats to funding the budget |
DisGuy:I don't understaand you bro. That they'v started collectig it means business has started. They proposed a new tarriff for light bills. Today we pay over 20naira from 15naira/kilowatt.....in the banking sector, we pay xtra charges for every little thing. I got charged for over 350naira for doing a transfer of mere 5000. Formerly it wasn't beyond 150naira. They have started implementing all whaat they proposed all. Don't be suprised to hear our VAT too will soon be increased. |
