DisGuy:Isn't it obvious, from banking sector to the power sector where we pay more for electricity, now telecoms? That's the best fiscal policy, they can come up with as usual |
So this is how they generate revenue? By taxing the populace even more. theysaid they will only improve tax collection efficiency and not increaase it. So this is how we intend to generate the Non-oil revenue of over 3trillion naira........yet the same leaders will be preaching entrepreneurship to the youths, when they themselves are so clueless on how to double their income. #God dey |
mecussey:This must be sarcasm coz there is no way you can lose 5kg in 2days without exercise. All over the world, its agreed that 7000calories make up 1kg. And humans averagely consume a daily meal of 2,000calories per day. So do the math? 7000calories = 1kg 5kg = 7000 * 5kg = 35000calories Your body lost 35,000calories in 2days? Nigga even if you starve a whole day and jog for 2hours daily, you still wouldn't burn 35,000calories in 2days. #I am weLl versed in this topic bruh #Lie-nus ezeashi. |
Calories, calories that's your answer to either gaining or losing weight. If you eat more calories than your body needs per day, you'll add. Ifyou eat less calories than your body needs per day, you'll reduce. Its that simple! But easy? NO **************************************** If you want to know how much calories your body needs while @ rest for the whole day, Visit this website, Input your data & result will appear: www.calculator.net/calorie-calculator.html?ctype=standard&cage=25&csex=m&cheightfeet=6&cheightinch=2&cpound=216&cheightmeter=180&ckg=60&cactivity=1.55&printit=0&x=58&y=12

akinsbaba2015:Thanks for the reply but I'v done my research & found out my mistake. I was meant tosay its the first budget that its revenue would largely come from NON-OIL SOURCES |
Something is just not right with this budget. Wasn't it the budget that everybody in nigeria hailed as the 1st where capital expenditure is more than recurrent? From what's been stated above; Federal lawmakers approved the N1.587trn capital expenditure and the recurrent expenditure of N2.646.3trn. #someone Pls explain better coz I smell tricks! |
Seun:Well spoken mr seun, but we are not yet in a recession. Our economy according to the last quarter of 2015 grows @ 2.8%. So although growth has reduced, one thing is significant. The economy is still growing @ merely 2.8%. Inother words, our economy IS STILL GROWING but @ 2.8%...... So maybe until we hit recession, then cbn will opt to tackle recession than inflation. We haven't hit recession tho |
stevecantrell:Well bro, fixed deposit rates should improve with this news because banks if bank is attempting to take money out of circulation, it'll do that by enciting people to save & invest. Hence slightly increasing their rate. T.bills would also improve when our budget will be passed. So keep yur ears on ground! |
mark3009:I think they offered reduced lending rates to only those into the manufacturing sector. But it wasn't low enough to attract manufacturers, one of the reasons our economy growth is steady declining. Yes I agree with you, their policy is very in-consistent. praticing trial & error method. |
Seun:The economy growth is going down, yet Inflation is rising. Despite the cbn's stunt in the past of reducing the CRR & MPR, so banks will be able to stimulate the economy by giving our loans @ a lower rate, it didn't work! So what we have is STAG-FLATION.....CBN had to pick their battle, they either fight inflation or improve growth...at the moment, fighting Inflation seems to be what's on their agenda based on this news #Not an economist by the way |
This should mean an increase in fixed deposit rates, because the annual rate of 3-5% is very POOR for local and foreign portfolio Investors |
What's the dilenma about? The generation and distribution chain has been privatized, Transimission chain which is the weakest link, it the one still held by govt! So even if we can generate 100,000Mw our current transmission lines cannot transmit more than 6,000mw. Also, we should stop comparing power privatization to that of telecoms. Here, the price of electricity is under the power of NERC. So ivestors will be careful not to Invest so much, coz they can't influence price unlike how MTN,GLO and the rest had done |
Omo who even cares about the breakup! They'v been in the music industry for about 10years +....they'v acquired a combined wealth of over 300million naira with Top Top conections....like WTF! Infact I'll like to see the individual ability, we'v seen the best of Psquare! If they breakup today, their names would still be wriiten in Africas legendary Music book........Mschew, make dem break up if dem wan breakup...dem too talk! |
golddust6000:Onye asi di ka ghi.....you no even sabi rim, you no even know how to read the alphabets & numbers on a tyre u come dey lie about working @ german tyre firm. Onye asi |
For those of you scared of FRSC stooping you on the way. There is a known Trick to bypass their wahala. The date of production is written on only side of the tyre, so next time you buy a new tyre, tell the Vulcaniser to mount the tyre in such a way that the dot would be facing inwards towards the rim. When frsc stops you, there will be no date to read, coz the date will be on the other side(inwards) #Be smart lol |
If dem tell you make you drop 500 for one church project now u go squeeze face as conductor take dey squeeze money. You go save bird wey fit still dey die tomorrow so you collect praises & NL likes..... Gerrarahere mehn |
herbie27:A woman a night guard? You re a BIG LIAR!!! According to the Section 55 of the Labour Act , it prohibits women from working in the night. The section provides that “no woman shall be employed on night work in a public or private industrial undertaking or in any branch thereof, or in any agricultural undertaking or any branch thereof.” The only exception is for nurses. |
Geology.....A course where you'll do lots of Imagination of things that happened thousands of years ago or deep down in the earth! It could be tough to relate to such things! |
Spadelicious:How do you knw she didn't show remorse? Is it not what the media reports that you'll base your comments on. Meanwhile this happened about 10years ago! Did you xpect her to go into hiding these 10years. Rather than a jail term, I'd prefer the family with her to settle out of court. A 5yr jail term after 10yrs will not bring back the dead nor increase their finance, Infact this case is like reopening an old wound in the lives of family. The more the story is talked about, the more painful remembering a lost dad or lost hubby becomes. They should have let go! F*ck it mehn, to even think that we are so so religious in this country! 10years and still no atom of forgiveness! |
For all my niggas, with babies by beeches, that use their kids as meal tickets.

Quakertellicus1:Thanks for the correction, yes I know they have blackouts but not 24hrs like its been said in the comments above. But atleast there will be an Improvement. but In Nigeria even if we are able to generate 100,000mw today we still wouldn't feel the effect because the Transmission lines are dead & weak. They cannot transmit more than 6,000mw. And worse still, this is the only section of power that's not priviatized making it the weakest link in the power chain |
Quakertellicus1:Even @ 20,000mw we'll still not have 24hours of light but there would great improvement. South africa generates about 20,000mw with a population of about 50million and yet they don't have 24hrs of light.... |
1Dray:Ha, I say na Mr Jack of all trade be that . Known for his, painting, sculpting, architecture, science, music, mathematics, engineering, literature, anatomy, geology, astronomy, botany, writing, history, and cartography. He has been variously called the father of palaeontology, ichnology, and architecture, and is widely considered one of the best painter of all time. |
Macelliot:You didn't mention Leonardo Da vinci....Mr all rounder, Jack of all trade! That's another genius |
daniska3yaro:Uhmmm, the mods that pushed the thread to front-page must have approved the photo as not being disgusting or pornographic |
I laugh when people criticize Gambling whereas its done by virtually all of us. **************************************** What is gambling? When You put down your money to buy a "chance" so as to get more money thats gamble. Now bring this to reality. **************************************** When you subscribe with MTN card to attend "who wants to be a millionaire" game show. Are u not buying a chance? When MTN says send text for 100naira and u stand a chance to win a House worth 15m, are you not buying a chance? Also, when you sign a raffle ticket from a church promo to win a bike or generator or cell phone. What are you doing? No be Gamble be that eh omo pastor? Loool #Enyia biko gbawa door :-P #The damage comes when it becomes a Habit# |
Thetruth is Gambling can be addictive. Yu win 1k and next you are planning how to win 10,000 andd then 1,000,000....soon you become a lover of money and would break any moral ethics to get "the mulla".....Remember, the Love of Money is the root of all Evil. Soon you'll experience losses after losses, and the urge to bounce back can lead you to destruction.....Gambling isn't an Investment!!! **************************************** When yu Invest, you buy something of VALUE that can be traded back for money *************************************** When you gamble, you BUY A CHANCE to earn money and nothing of VALUE, you see the difference ![]() **************************************** But in the end, we all gamble in this life even Unknowingly lool. |
EroticAngelina:Is that really you @ profile pic? If yes, nope betting isn't bad. How about I place a bet that this cutie on ur profile pic isn't eroticangelina :-)what's the odd? Lol. |
Erisco hs one of the biggest tomato plants in west-africa but his mistake was citing his tomato Plant in Lagos, Oregun ikeja to be precise. Dangote being smarter, located his @ Kano where there will be close contact with the farmers directly reducing cost of transportation.....just as chief erisco says his tomato are slightly expensive than the china imported tomatoes, Dangote says his are CHEAPER......So u see dangote bizness acumen? No be by Ibo man get sense, Dangote"s plan was way smarter than Chief erisco by just that location alone. With dangotes wide brand-name , I don't know how easy Erisco tomatoes will survive in the market. |
TOP 10 what Its either NL has very lil guys that are good-looking or OP is just crushing over these guys! |
PHCN story in summary - Nepa gets privatised,PHCN comes on board - PHCN report running @ loss, recommends pre-paid metres to mitigate the shortfall - Some cunny Nigerians Obtained prepaid meters BUT bypass bout 60% of the house gadgets direct to the grid I.e pre-paid metre works for just 40% of the total home gadgets. - PHCN finds out and stops advocating prepaid meters....then steadily increase charges for those without prepaid to cover for the sins of the pre-paid customers. - post-paid metres for now seems the best way for phcn to get their cash but the subscribers using postpaid metre scream coz of the crazy "estimated charges" - FG ORDERS PHCN to provide prepaid metres for Nigerians #conclusion: Its a Fight between Phcn issuing pre-paid metre & the Integrity of Nigerians to comply & not tamper with the connection. |
