This is what I want to say, according to Robert Kiyosaki in the cash flow quadrant. there are 4 sets of people E- employed S - Self employed (business that needs your attention actively to survive) B - Business owner (business that has developed a model that can stand on its own even without your presence) I - Investor The E and S are in the left quadrant, these guys are the ones struggling daily to met up The B and I are where the big boys are, that's where you can earn financial freedom. so he tells people to try and switch into the B or I sector if you must live a stress free live Now what am I driving at, Yes you may earn 60,000naira as a employee, try to have a footing into the Investor quadrant, where you invest into something and it reaps fruit for you. Most importantly, invest in yourself. I have a friend who was working for 10years, he didn't improve himself, no additional professional training or certificate until he got sacked and reality dawned on him. Nobody can take away Investment in yourself, advance in yourself take up training, attend seminar, get more professional certfs/skills and Your 60K salary will be a thing of the past. Then you can use your expertise to start up a business that can stand on itself rendering services not the garbage OP is advising (sell pants or bra or this or that) A doctor can be an employee with a govt hospitals same time acting as a consultant, also has his own hospital (Business owner) and Invest money in properties (Investor). He has legs in all quadrants. Don't be in a hurry to take your salary and start opening a shop for the sake of second income. First Invest in yourself, Your shop can be taken away by the Govt, or Duped by fraudsters but the Investment you make in yourself will last forever! |
I tire for those guys, the other time they searched through my phones, after going through my mails one of them said you dey do bitcoins abi, I was like ah ahn yes now Bitcoin no dey illegal now. They checked my phones mail messages even Whatsapp messages, I was with my lappy they also checked that too. when one saw some ebooks on IT security , he was like what do you do? I tell am say those books are from my IT training school (which was a lie). I mentioned the name of the school, NIIT and he was like wow he also attended training there, naso we begin yarn bout IT things dey smile oh. while the other one searched my phones na play play and smile I use buy time, although I was composed and addressed them calmly. Most boiz in Festac are always harsh when they stop them, that's why they get roughed up! Some are just unlucky due to the way they dress(dreads, tattoos). I can't count the number of times I have been stopped in Festac, its numerous! Getting stopped by police men is now a usual occurrence, so to be safe as a young guy here, remove all forms of exhibit in your phone when you are bout going out. ![]() |
okolet:You must be a kid, looking at your onscreen keyboard, you couldn't deduce that its a typo error as a result of "k" and "l" being very close to eachother |
he will do well, he almost stole the league from juventus. It was a fight to the finish unlike previous years where juventus would have secured the trophy way early. however I think conte should be given a chance, the average lifespan of coaches 2-3yrs in the EPL has got to be stopped. it hurts the team a lot, as they will need to be readjusting to several tactics |
Ciscogod:edkaun my fellow Cisco brother, can i PM. |
The most educated doesn't translate to the most wealthy. There are lots of people who have read wide but still run the rat race. Some professors still have hard time seeking the right investment and managing their funds properly. even the holy book agrees with me.

The way you bloggers write articles self eh "....took to FACEBOOK OWNED SHARING SITE" what site exactly? what would it cost you to say INSTAGRAM rather than use ambiguous words just to sound intelligent. bloggers una tire me |
op you try but e still remain small make u make sense. how much power does it take to fully charge a car, in Lagos here we are charged an average of 24naira per kilowatt. if an electric car, uses 1000kilowatt for full charge, it means it will cost us 24,000naira for a full charge. |
if only naira landers knew how much PDP and APC were willing to pay Linda to help campaign for them. The money was so much she had to seek advice from her blog readers if she should go ahead and accept it Linda has the business acumen than owner of Nairaland. |
get me the visa first |
I dey read this story I dey vex!!! I am the gentle quiet type. I don't find trouble but same time don't look for my trouble. Inasmuch as I hardly get angry, whenever someone sparks that fire in me, I go wild. Someone whom I know can beat me well on a normal day, whenever my spark button is turned on, I am ready to fight till I lose/win Chaii, a female stranger slapped you in public and you kept calm, f.ck! she has lost all form of respect a man should have for her. I have never slapped a lady before, so for a lady to do so to me will turn on my anger button for sure, I fit nack am better punch for neck . #Anyways na for men wey tiny women dey show craze, not when your are 6ft+ with big body, even fear go grip am to slap u. |
You can never satisfy people, first they rumoured it was fake baby bump despite knowing how desperate Linda is , for a family. Then she went ahead to prove haters by showing her bump knowing how dark and evil Nigerians minds are. yet haters still gan hate , is it until she gets miscarriage una go believe. Na wa o, now I understand why they say Misery Loves Company. |
if you believe that Davidos father is worth $700m, you are a dunce! who rated him? Forbes abi your village elders? He isn't even in the top 50 richest people in Nigeria, who knew davidoa father before the hype. kaiii. Una can believe lies eh! Davido is richer than J.Cole? lool Because he doesn't pay tax like J.Cole Nicki Minaj does? Una can mumu sha. He is that rich but couldn't buy his girl a brand new car? or live at Banana island?I don't blame y'all gullibility, na wetin showbiz dey all about. Living a fake life. |
abdulrazat:All you need is time, data and persistence because all info exist online. Visit YouTube or best visit udemy(online learning site) and get free videos on those |
see how chubby the boy is, I guess its as a result of her eating every 10minutes during pregnancy. nicey |
I don't get it, data tariff was increased just last year. I remember Mtn used to be 2gig for 1000naira, now its 1gig + 500mb(night only). Even GLO had 3.5gig or so for 1k, but that's non existent now. So they waited for people to get accustomed to the new price for several months, indirectly forcing them to forget about the former price so they can hike it again, wicked lots! |
computer science, computer engineering, information technology, anything ICT is where the money at and will be in future. Look around you, everything is becoming digitized, life is becoming less stressful. Who are those responsible for this? Ans; IT GUYS Go fr those courses I mentioned above and have added IT skills you will pick up from your semester break. BUT then, I will never advise someone to study a course simply for financial gain. You will never unleash your true potential if you do so. Some people are just master sales person, they can sell anything to anybody even if the customer is an Eskimo, yet they are forced to read medicine/Engr. Find your strength and go for it. Go for added skills/ Professional certfs during the semester break (one mistake under graduates never pay attention to) |
software is eating the world - Marc Andressen |
software is eating the world - Marc Andressen. From computer network to health care to finances to cars etc software is taking over. The future jobs will be handed to the IT guys. its either you learn the tech or you become redundant. The time where all man needs to learn atleast 1 basic programming language to survive is fast approaching ![]() The Bank shouldn't be so scared, they can always bridge the gap, they have the Public trust and the finance to undertake it. Most fintech startups struggle with funds which can leave them exposed to security flaws. Them Banks can easily make quick transition to fintech, just like Wema banks "Alat" |
Cvesta:how far have you gone with your Cisco/Microsoft studies? |
jaytime:That's why you are a human. People hate what they don't understand. and fear what they don't know. You are just acting like a human because you don't understand the sudden bump, it doesn't make the claims wrong. it just makes you act like the way a human should |
haters will always gan hate, Beyonce proved them wrong. Linda ikeji will soon.
|
SBG04:I won't reply you again because its obvious you are short sighted. If you cannot see how the govt increased fuel price/food prices indirectly then you are dull. Keep dribbling around the subject be quoting debt to GDP or Revenue to GDP, You have refused to talk about Debt : Revenue ratio. Continue dribbling oh, I won't answer you again. Keep up with your foolery |
when I say these guys are script kiddies, y'all think I am joking. Without a good understanding of programming, you can never be called a hacker. If you buy tools to hack, you are a script kiddie. If you think this guy can buy software to hack swiss account, you are daft. These banks employ programmers with adept pen testing skills to write codes that are impenetrable. faking SMS is something boiz did for fun in year 1, there was a certain card we bought at awka then that can mask the text senders name. That's nothing now, even bulk SMS does that. we all did it for fun. Believe this bullshit at your own peril. |
SBG04:You are actually the fool. Your country spends 66% of her revenue repaying debts and you are talking sh.it. If you need statistics go to google or ask and I will provide them. Imagine spending 66% of your salary repaying your debtors, also sanusi has stated in the past that the borrowing margins are far larger than what is stipulated in the law (CBN act or so) You must be in the govt, those seeking the heads of masses on a plate to slaughter, The write up talks about increasing VAT and in your rational state you think this is the only way to increase revenue. You are a true dumbo. All they know is increase increase, from fuel price to exchange rate to food items to power to car imports etc, That's all they know. Coming from a handed GDP growth of 6% to now 1%+ is what you are harping about, you foolishly didn't think a country on its growth to recovery after coming from a time of recession ; that Increasing the tax rates wouldn't be the wisest thing to do, but foolish you thinks that's the way to go. If I may ask, what exactly can you point out that 12trillion naira has been used for? What exactly. When Bill gates came here and told Nigeria that Investing in her people was the way to go, you didn't see sense in that huh? You want to milk the people but not make them fat enough to get enough milk? So govt cannot improve infrastructure , improve the standard of living, create employment, reduce manufacturing cost factors before thinking of increasing taxes to raise revenue? I repeat you must be in the GOVT! Only blood suckers in Govt think the way you do. Our budget is running at a surplus yet borrowing is astronomically high, but you still justify it citing revenue to GDP ratio. Its truly your opaque mind that IMF was trying to address. |
Gavrelino123:This isn't true. IMF are one of the cheapest place to borrow loans from, moreso Nigeria has been refocusing its loans from domestic to foreign because its more expensive to borrow in our local currency. Just say you hate them because Investors like you in treasury bills thread will have rates further reduced, because of the GOVTs change in interest lol ![]() |
SBG04:Just look at the rubbish spewing out of your mind. Its your type of stubbornness that IMF is still trying to address. Nigeria's Govt are focused on their Revenue to GDP ratio, boasting and shouting of how low it is forgetting that their Interest payment to Revenue is frigging high. Nigeria spends 2/3 of her revenue repaying debts, does that make sense to you? And the only reasonable thing you could think of is that, they have tax at their mercy. Despite all the increased hardship, the increased prices and skyrocketed inflation , or a full year of negative GDP (recession)_ you still support the fact that increased TAXes is the only way to increase her revenues, YOU are a disgrace! So Nigeria can't improve in her capital expenditure? we have borrowed 12trillion in 3yrs yet the capital expenditure is hardly seen. All your lots know is tax tax tax, is it until Nigerians die of hardship that you know you have taxed them enough? You are screaming that others commenting are illiterates whereas you are the illiterate. Nigeria Govt boasting of her GDP as if she is doing enough to engage the citizens actively to further bolster the GDP size. For me, the GOVT should capture those high and Mighty wealthy men in their Tax Nets rather that increasing VAT and all that. spending 66% of your revenue on debt payment is pure foolishness! |
Salas4oru:Yea, over dependence on us dollars or pounds has made study abroad very very expensive. Fully processed materials will hardly find its way to China from Nigeria, they have reduced manufacturing cost to the barest minimum over there at China, we can never compete with them in processed item. Come to think of it, I don't think China will be trading OIL with Nigeria with this swap deal because OIL is traded with the us dollars, that's how we build our foreign reserves. However, if the swap deal includes China paying for our oil with their currency then that's a good thing :-) Although With Dangote's refinery in sight, that may cut down the Chinese yuan overtime, thus adding more demand pressures on the govt. whichever way it may seem, getting the dollars at a very cheap price is the best deal, knowing how crazy our govts economic policy can be. |
There are very very fee tech blogs in Nigeria. blogs where one can learn several ICT topics are few. What I see most of the times are blogs discussing a phone specs and all that. Very few E-learning blogs done by a Nigerian, most I have come across are foreign, thinking of starting one soon. |
Slatemsk:I want it to happen so that I can amass enough dollars and store in my Dorm account, when the need to go on vacation or study abroad arises, k can then go from the storage acct and take some dollars. In fact I am seriously praying dollar should crash, and people should reject it and swoop in for the Chinese currency. so I can buy it at a very cheap rate ![]() |
Yewandequeen:When Beyonce was preggy, so many pics flooded the net to prove that it was fake. Her tummy sometimes look folded and weird, I was even forced to believe it could be. Until she was almost due, and she did a photo shoot with her bump. That's when media changed course and started another rumour that the child's name is an ILLUMINANTI abbreviation. That BLUE means BORN LIVING UNDER EVIL. ![]() Lots of people will always talk, what I do know is Linda Ikeji cannot post on her blog that she is preggy when she is not just to seek attention. She is not in her 20's, babe is almost clocking 40. If media doubted Beyonce, its no surprise why they would doubt Linda ikeji's |
