asides acceleration, everything works perfectly. On sport mode, the car accelerates perfectly. Just wanted to know if that's how the model of corolla is or if mine is just different....lol

If your car is a corolla S, your car uses a CVT fluid. Only use GENUINE TOYOTA CVT FLUID TYPE CVT-FE.


Change the oil and you should observe some difference. There are some procedures to changing the CVT fluid though.

For benefit of doubt, snap the VIN sticker and post so I know.

my corolla 10 makes a sounds during cold start. mech said it was the camshaft. it was replaced and sound stopped. now my car threw up a P0014 code. asides the check engine light, everything works fine. Please how can I get rid of it, as that light irritates me.

Also... I have used the car for 4yrs now and I use Mobil1 5w20 every 5k miles. but noticed when the top was opened that the engine area had brown residues like the way a mineral engine will look. I was really shocked. Do u advice I use an engine flush during my next service and I will like to buy my mobil1 from you..... weda dem de give me fake. I don't know

congrats.... that was my first car years back... disregard what a lot of peeps say here... just have a good maintenance culture and buy original OEM parts. I used mine for about 3years and never experienced a ball joint issue.... I do a monthly routine check on my suspension.

car is an awesome machine.... just enjoy it... hopefully in a year or more you will be looking at a 2013-15 model.

Good day house. Please I use a Kia Optima 2013. My turbocharger doesn’t activate when the rpm gets to 3000. Had it checked and the problem is from the brain box. Another brain box was put in and worked perfectly. Please where can I get a new brain box and someone who can program it also. Any recommendations. I reside in portharcourt please.

Please i have a kia optima 2013 with GDI turbo engine. Engine threw up a P2562 code. Mech said the turbo charger is bad and has to be replaced. Although going thru some videos online, it shows that its the wastegate control and just needs adjustment.

Car is in Portharcourt. Any good mech in PHC that can help with this fix and also anyone know the price for either the wastegate or the complete turbo..... kindly assist guys

Spoke to a mechanic and he said i should switch to oando SL. he has had a similar experience with a kia rio and it stopped after switching to oando SL. Do you advice i ttry this switch.

I use a 2013 kia optima. car pulled up a P1326 with flashing check engine light and once that comes up RPM cannot go higher than 2000. if the error code is cleared, car works normal but the error code comes back in the morning after a 5mins drive. Please advice....

Please is there a cheaper option.
How long can i use the mobil1? i currently do 5k before i change it....

I use a corolla S 2009... car recently threw up a P0420 code.... was erased and i noticed that when ever i drive up to 80Kmph the light comes on..... if i reset it, it stays off until i get around 80kmph and the check light comes on with the P0420 code..... please advice
