Agadinaagwuofe: I have never been a proponent of MNK, I used to be critical of him when he referred Nigeria as a zoo but after sober reflection and analyse the situation in that country, I vehemently agree he was been fair to refer Nigeria as a zoo.
Tell me any country even the third world country that is not at war, that will lose more than 66,000 citizens in 8 years and still losing citizens to the cold hands of marauders herdsmen in the guise of bandits and everyone will be going their daily duties as if nothing happened? nobody has been arrested, nobody has been prosecuted, no measures to protect other people, just cruising until it gets to someone else's turn. Maybe someone needs to define zoo for me again. So, you were one of the mumu Igbos who jumped into criticism of him to please their hausa/fulani masters when they were yet to understand what he was saying? I hate it when people choose to act before understanding. Scumbags! |

JeffreyJunior: You are even going too far.
A relative reached out to me the other day for help via WhatsApp saying his family was starving. I called him later on and he was at a bar drinking. I said haa, uncle you still see money to dey drink beer and he responded saying "I'm drinking to forget the too many problems in this country".
I was furious at that point. I respectfully told him, do you know if you had saved money you spent on two bottles of beer, that's dinner money right there.
The thing is that Nigerians hate to make adjustments. Small thing, they start begging for help when all they need is just little adjustment and everything will be fine.
What they don't realize is that their family members abroad work round the clock and deny themselves some good things of life just to make extra and send back home whereas they the recipients don't want to deny themselves anything.
They do owambe all the time and still expect you that don't have the liberty to do an owambe to sponsor their own owambe. No be juju be that? Aptly captured! |

We need to be worried about how to reduce our debt ceiling I thought you would have said "we need to prevent the new sets of corrupt politicians from relooting the saved subsidy funds" Our major worry should actually be how the corrupt drug man, who couldn't confront the subsidy scammers, will be able to face the new sets of re-looters and avoid making the masses suffer in vain. |

President Tinubu will focus more on IGR and proper management of our oil revenue. Nigeria is self-sufficient, it's just that some unpatriotic elements have put us in a chokehold for too long through misappropriation of public funds through the oil subsidy scam and other vices.

helinues: How many parties do you attend in a month, for the party goers, average of 4 times. You will buy cloth, sew it, probably buy new shoe, gift the celebrant something, spray them money when they are dancing all because of plate of rice with chicken and 5 bottles of beer.
Do the maths, cloth 20k( level dey but on average), new shoe 5k, gifts 5-10k, spraying of money 5k. Let's say N35k.
Please how much are they selling food at restaurants abi na how much beer cost for bars that you are wasting your hard earned money on partying?
Don't get me wrong, partying is part of social life but it shouldn't be a hobby cos it's expensive. That money could have done something meaningful than wasting it on hours event .
How about the preparation for the party, imagination of who would be at the venue and how to relate, infact, you might even meet those who have been looking for you for long as some people have now turned begging to a professional job.
It doesn't worth it So, after supporting series of bad governments and their impoverishing, anally generated policies, you now want to preach party abstinence/avoidance to Nigerians so as to save money?? No way! No one will listen to your anally generated piece of shit advice. They must attend parties to help them forget the crushing effects of your government's bad policies. |

Flets: Every government subsidizes something for the masses even in very developed nations. How can you remove all subsidies in the poverty capital of the world?, you want to kill off the citizens?
Fuel subsidy is not a burden if we subsidize our actual consumption. FG is currently paying 500% subsidy on actual consumption due to corruption. Simply go after the subsidy thieves and stop the smuggling of subsidized products across borders. Prosecute and jail defaulters to set examples. It makes no sense to transfer the responsibility to the masses. This has always been my position, but some people's hypocrisy will never allow them see the truth! Everyone's eyes will clear eventually when they realise the people have been made to suffer for nothing. The accrued subsidy savings will be relooted. How can we trust a man who can't face the subsidy scammers to be able to face those who will reloot the savings? It's just madness, if not hypocrisy. |

Op know how far Some of you, especially those from the s/west, don't travel outside their states, but make crazy inferences from their limited experiences. Every village is not like your own or the ones you're familiar with in your locality. Most Imo state villages are not that underdeveloped, as people travel out and invest back home, and there's competition for every family to ''represent''. I attended both primary and secondary education in my village, wrote JAMB there in 2001, scored over 300 and got admission to study medicine @UNN, and outperformed classmates whose parents spent(if not wasted) thousands of naira training in big secondary schools in those ''big'' cities you mentioned. So, villages have levels. |

babaolofin: When did Abiola made that statement? Was it after the IBOs rejected him or when he was not contesting for Presidency?
The IBOs did not forgive Obasanjo. It was because they have no choice. Alex Ekwueme supported by the IBOs created tension in Nigeria before the PDP primary for the 1999 election despite the North decision to allow OBJ to rule. Obasanjo was the only sitting President that participated in Primary for second term against Ekwueme. At the National Assembly, they are always in opposition to Yoruba cause.
It is now Obasanjo becomes god to the IBOs to challenge Tinubu. Without Okupe, Adebanjo and Obasanjo, OBI cannot get to where he is today.
I am not speaking from afar, I am speaking from personal experience. The IBOs can never support the Yoruba cause. For your information, it's Igbo, not Ibo. Don't you guys have the brain to learn and retain or to even copy and paste? Do you also spell/write Drogba as Droba; Igbobi as Ibobi, Gbagada as Bagada, Agbo as Abo, etc etc etc??
