Fuel subsidy is not a burden if we subsidize our actual consumption. FG is currently paying 500% subsidy on actual consumption due to corruption. Simply go after the subsidy thieves and stop the smuggling of subsidized products across borders. Prosecute and jail defaulters to set examples. Most Imo state villages are not that underdeveloped, as people travel out and invest back home, and there's competition for every family to ''represent''.

I attended both primary and secondary education in my village, wrote JAMB there in 2001, scored over 300 and got admission to study medicine @UNN, and outperformed classmates whose parents spent(if not wasted) thousands of naira training in big secondary schools in those ''big'' cities you mentioned.

So, villages have levels.

Imo state villages are not that underdeveloped and lifeless.

A lot of people live and work/do business there, and that attracted some good schools, hospitals, etc, plus some investments by those of us who chose to live elsewhere.
