This is timely and the fact that it is situated within the agriculturally advantaged part of Anambra state will help its viability.Agricultural products could be evacuated easily to all locations in the world.It may not actually affect the viability of Asaba and Enugu airports significantly because for somebody like me from Nnewi South LGA,its closer for me to use Asaba airport if I am travelling home.The guy from Awka may prefer to use Enugu airport when travelling because it may be closer to him.

I am personally not bothered when stories that are published are factual and evidence based,but when stories are speculative and are not well researched I get very worried because the reputation that somebody built in decades could be destroyed in a minute.Our bloggers and journalists should strive to be more thorough in researching about stories before they are published and that way,they would have done their jobs and helped the society in general to be a better one.

The current budget is supposed to expire 31st march 2017,which is tomorrow.After tomorrow,the Federal government would have waited at the mercy of the national assembly to be able to spend any money beyond this period.Its also an impeachable offence for the President to spend any money not appropriated by the national assembly.You know that the National Assembly is currently forcing the hand of the Presidency to sack Magu etc.The budgeting process would have been used by national assembly to force the Presidency to do their bidding.This extension has provided the Presidency an opportunity to continue to spend money pending when the budget is passed.

It will definitely not get to that period because even the National Assembly operations will be disrupted too.There is a charged atmosphere currently and this will pass away shortly as soon as the over bloated ego of the political gladiators are massaged

Very smart move by Presidency!!!! It takes them off the mercy of the national Assembly as the current budget was to expire 31st of march 2017.The current impasse between Presidency and National Assembly will have crippled the running of the federal govt.

I think the Presidency should just respect the Senate recommendation on Magu!! Going forward,the Presidency may have to reenergise the liaison between them and the Senate so that government affairs will not be stalled.The second time that the Magu candidacy was represented, I thought that they had reached a common ground with the Senate but it has been proven otherwise.We are also rapidly approaching 31st March when the current budget expires and the Presidency will need the concurrence of the Senate to spend any money pending the conclusion of the budget being worked on by the Senate.

Mgbidi!! is in IMO State and not Anambra State.

If you checked my comments properly,you will notice that its non partisan!!.I am not a politician and therefore most times,I am not really interested in party affiliations.I usually get excited at any sign of good leadership strides on display.

Each time I go to Enugu and see the transformation of the city done by this man,I marvel.God will continue to bless this man for the leadership he showed as a Governor.!!

We are gradually getting there!!!!Slowly but surely.

What a pity!!!I I hope she has a proper comprehensive insurance cover for the vehicle.This can happen to anyone! When a vehicle is on motion on our bad roads,any of the parts could malfunction.

So because VIPs will be plying this road for 6 weeks,they are providing all these security covers.What happens when Abuja airport opens eventually?.The government should learn to provide wholistic security solutions that covers all citizens and locations in Nigeria.

2. He is not a business oriented man, to buy a luxury car is not the headache but maintenance.
3. He got an awoof money to purchase a tokunbo rolls in order to "feel among" the mighty.
4. He didnt want Aproko people to ask, "Oga where is ur car, i havent seen u drive it in a while", hence, kazeem workshop
5. Now he's in deep pooo if those boys cannot fix the faults cos no right thinking man will spend his money on faulty or naija used Rolls Royce.

Current Rolls Royce is produced by BMW ,Coscharis Autos has both the BMW and Rolls Royce franchise in Nigeria.They also do the maintenance locally so nobody needs to take the vehicle to South Africa.

I guess they ran into some bad Guys doing some evil things and they had to be kept quiet.

Starting and grooming a new business is not very easy!!!Most new Entrepreneur loose their capital very fast if they are using other people's money to start off.If you want to help him,look for a business that does not require so much capital to take off and key into it.If eventually,he shows capacity and competence ,you can then give him more financial support to grow.

How can you tackle inflation when the traders are greedy? give me some ideas, justify why palm oil should triple in price? Justify why prices of goods tripled when most importers get travelex for as low as 320naira to $1? justify why big companies that source for cheap forex from CBN still tripled their prices? You said they fixed prices to enable them buy other things? like seriously? who thinks like that if not a blood sucking African trader, you increase the price of Camry because range rover is expensive, this is the most bizarre thing i have ever heard.
Tell me why our NLNG allocation for LPG is in Bonny where the traders abandoned it to create artificial scarcity to triple prices? It may shock you to know that the bulk of your palm oil is imported!! The devaluation of your naira has seriously affected the pricing.How much in dollars does your Travelled disburse per person that you think will affect your goods.,less than $1000 per person.

We don't red a Presidential task force to find out why food prices are high in a Country with an inflation rate of over 20%.The increase in petrol cost contributed significantly to the increase in prices because transportation cost is very significant in determining the price of the commodities in the market.The farmers also need to fix the prices at levels that the proceeds will be enough to purchase other commodities that they need for survival like shelter,clothing's,school fees etc.The most important step to take at this point is to tackle inflation aggressively and once it comes down,most prices will be reviewed downwards.

Maybe they are checking out facilities on ground to be used during Abuja Airport closure.
