Where I come from, you are never expected to asess yourself but rather you wait for others to do so.This is pure arrogance and having a bloated image of oneself.Trying to tribalise it is very childish and unwarranted because she doesn't know the parameters used for this assessment. |
When you said a professional mechanic,I was hoping to get an indept analysis of the vehicle like suspension, electrical, engine, fuel economy etc but what I saw is an armchair analysis that could as well come from somebody who has never seen the vehicle physically. |
kokoA:Are you sure the one on white is not the celebrant? |
Very timely and necessary. People should not just get driving without the requisite training tests and certification. |
I feel that they should have remained together and renegotiated their terms of agreement with Jude.Maybe give themselves another 2 years of transition if they must separate so that everybody will do the necessary adjustments and then there won't be any bad blood. |
I just passed the spot where that accident happened about 2 hours ago and I think the driver couldn't manage the bursted tyre properly maybe because of over speeding as I noticed that the road there is very smooth and the bush part on the right side of the road didn't have much obstacles. In an event of tyre puncture while on speed, the driver is not supposed to touch the brakes but to just hold on to the steering firmly and keep manoeuvring the vehicle till it comes to a stop by itself.I think the driver did not manage the vehicle professionally. |
merrywheels:The cause of the accident was a rear tyre that exploded.Basic knowledge of driving tells you that when you are on a high speed and any of the tyres bursts, you must NEVER touch the brakes!!!because if you do,the vehicle will summersault severally. How come you are saying that you are sure that brakes were not applied. Please educate me further on this. |
Its a third party insurance and it simply means that when you hit another motorist, your insurance company is liable to repair the other motorist's vehicle on your behalf. Most Nigerians dont make the claims because their insurance policies are fake or they are ignorant of their rights. |
I dont see what difference this makes, provided they learn the alphabets. |
theshaderoom:I was just setting the records straight so that people are not misinformed, whether they were doing business together is actually up to them. |
Chidi has no blood relationship with Mrs Deziani Madueke. He is from Anambra State. |
chingydaboss:Dr Ibe Kachikwu is equally a Minister of state for Petroleum ie an equivalent of a junior Minister.I dont see any disrespect there. |
Obiodunukwe:Its no news because he has made his money as an enterpreneur and therefore can afford to spend 65m on his birthday if he so desires. |
May her soul rest in peace. |
Sincerely i think the Private Operators are putting the cart before the horse. They should first put prepaid meters in at least 80% of the customers houses and then watch out the revenue accurring from these metered consumption before drawing conclusions. It is unfair to expect Nigerians to pay for your inefficient collection of your payment for services rendered. |
Dream on!!!!! |
I am a stranger here . |
Fully supported!!!!We should learn to follow the judicial route in cases like this because anybody could be the victim and thats what always ensures that justice is done and in this current administration, cases like this dont take forever.Saraki's case is a good example.Let the AG and NDLEA pursue this case seriously in the courts. |
Commendable!!!Whoever puts God first will never be last in the affairs of men. |

What were the unique and peculiar things she did that saved lives in the crash? |

cosby02:You dont need to argue with facts that are easily verifiable What i highlighted is in tandem with the intent and purpose for which the buses were bought, because the primary aim here is to deploy buses and alleviate the suffering of Nigerian commuters. Most of the previous efforts to float and manage government owned transport companies in the past failed as over 80% of them collapsed and the only credible option here is to partner with reliable transport operators which is what government did and they were deployed through infrastructure bank facilities |
I doubt very much if the Nigerian Customs can generate as much money as they envisage because the income generation is tied indirectly to the operations in the foreign currency market at a given period because thats where majority of the importers get their funding. Unless something positive happens in our foreign exchange market soon enough, many importers cant do much in terms of importation. |
cosby02:The buses were deployed to many reputable transport companies through a loan facilitation by the Infrastructure bank. Some transporters got Toyota hiace, others got mercedes Luxurious bues etc. |
The timing for this subsidy removal is not right because Nigeria is battling with 2 major issues that impact directly to the pricing of petroleum products and these are the devaluation of the naira and lack of policy direction on the foreign exchange market and consequently the scarcity of foreign exchange. |
I listened to the American Ambassador to Nigeria explain this donation and He said that because America has left war zones like Iraq, afganistan etc, that they have excess stock of this military equipments and they decided to give some out to Countries currently neck deep in the fight against terrorism. The vehicles are still in very good order. |
Everybody is entitled to his own personal opinion in a democracy.I just hope he will stick to this his submission and not deny it like he did in the last Daily tribune interview. |
I thought this government wanted to operate zero budgetting which would have been a very brilliant and effective way of curbing massive corruption. |
princdebola201:You obviously have not been to Anambra state where in Nnewi town alone you have over 100 industries. If your report is ever going to have credibility, dont do armchair theorising or write emotionally instead collect appropriate data before conclusion.Between Chicason group,Innoson group, and ibeto group, you will have over 12 industries. |
In a Nation where majority of the citizens rely on fuel to power their generators, why will the government ban their citizens from buying fuel in jerrycans?.Policies like this create room for corruption!!!.How do you expect the citizens to source their fuel for domestic use.The other day i had to plead with a fuel attendant to sell fuel to me in jerrycan and in the process his supervisor suddenly appeared and he panicked and ended up pouring fuel all over my boot.I was so annoyed because i wasnt doing anything illegal. |
That's a man fully in charge.. Kogi is in safe hands.
