Very smart business move!!!!,the former Chairman Ayeni was recently sacked from Skye bank plc.He will very soon face CBN/AMMCON investigations.I guess this move of installing Gen Danjuma as Chairman will insulate the company from those enquiries given Gen Danjuma's military background and relationship with PMB.

What I find very interesting and puzzling is that the two world greatest Religion,trace their origin from Isaac and Ishmael both sons of Abraham!!!.

I pray you visit Anambra state in your lifetime so that you can eat your words!!!This is nothing but armchair theorising.Anambra State is the only state in Nigeria where citizens have been building public infrastructures roads etc for over 30years without any federal support.We are very proud of how far we have come as a people!!!.Anambra state has the greatest concentration of billionaires in the whole of Nigeria.Anambra indigenes are responsible for all the developments happening there.Can we say the same of Lagos State?

This would have made sense when PPRA was still giving allocations to companies to import petroleum products as this would have helped them keep the landing cost low,but in this current situation where anybody can import petroleum products,I think this is corruption.

Remember, most government job vacancies asks you of your NYSC certificate, this is because for you to have this discharge certificate, you must have passed through primary, secondary and tertiary institution!

I just love the way Ben Bruce handled this issue is he did not politicise it but handled it strictly like a business set back.This is why I think its been resolved professionally.People must learn to handle issues professionally,even if you sense a political undertone,ignore that and keep moving on the track of business.

Not saying whether he stole or not, but he was not a career civil servant. He was paid as a political appointee, so no gratuities. Most of these clubs should just be realistic and adjust their prices in line with current realities in Nigeria and that way,people will easily pay their bills.A drink that costs 10k in the market should be sold in a worse case scenario for about 16k.

This threat makes no sense at all,you cant beat a kid and also ask him not to cry!!!.The Federal govt should have thought of job losses when it moved all their money via TSA overnight from banks.
The mistake here is that Federal govt should have met with the banks and find out what incentives that they could offer like tax reduction etc that would encourage banks to halt further sack of workers and not to be threatening them as if you are shareholders there.

I am speechless!!!,I have seen individuals in Anambra state take up the construction of public utilities from the 80s but I have never come across one in this magnitude.Kudos to this great son of Nigeria.Your light will never dim.

Obasanjo was not in power when Fashola was a governor.

Most of these musicians you mentioned are dead and so its extremely difficult to keep recycling the songs except occasionally. Sunny Ade,Ebenezer Obey etc are still alive so they keep bringing out new songs and probably updating the old ones.
Human beings grow,so they need new songs.The songs of IK Dairo who is dead is not commonly played by Yoruba's except by the older generation who hold fond memories of his songs.Igbo's need to identify and encourage new upcoming highlife musicians to grow to the level of Osadebe etc.

Federal government indeed needs to do something about its over bloated labour force,consistently for more than 10 years now the recurrent portion of the federal budget has always taken over 60% of the budget.This means that civil servants,legislators,executive and judiciary workers who are not up to 1% of the Nigerian population,always consume over 60% of the total budget while leaving the 99% to battle for the crumbs that will come from the execution of the 40%Capital budget.This is unfair and unsustainable.This is replicated in the 36 states too.
