Politics / Re: Lagos Rolls Out New BRT Buses by chyket(m): 9:35pm On Nov 02, 2020
I don't think LASG spent any new money on these buses,Ambode bought about 1000 buses for 50b as a first tranche of the 5,000 he intended to inject into Lagos BRT initiative. The buses came in but about 500 units were stuck with Nigerian Customs due to import duty misunderstanding. The 500 units that came out successfully, they have not deployed all of them before the end sars protest.I think they just released some units from the the ones not deployed yet.
There is no Auto dealership in Nigeria that currently stocks that European version of BRT buses,it's normally brought in on order basis.

I support Trump but it will be a great mystery if he emerges the winner. All odds are against him.If he eventually pulls through, then I can attest that NOTHING is impossible!
Even in the first election, the odds were seriously against him and he still won!.

The government should not try to stifle the social media because it will seriously boomerang! The youths are already way way ahead in it and it's one major source of power that the youths won't give up easily. The fight to keep this social media power I believe will make the #endsars battle look like a child's play.
Politics / Re: Desmond Elliot Crying On Live TV Following Backlash by chyket(m): 6:41am On Oct 30, 2020
A new Nigeria is surely emerging!!!. People are being immediately held accountable for misdeeds and goofs.
I strongly believe that the social media is strong enough to bring the expected changes in Nigeria if well harnessed .
It's indeed a new dawn!.

It's great to know that the security CCTV footages are intact. In view of the urgent need to show the world what exactly happened on the night of 20th October 2020 at the Lekki Tollgate, Lagos State govt should immediately release the CCTV footages to help correct all current lingering misconceptions.

This thing was made to cause disunity among the protesters and it's sure working!!!.
All Igbos should just ignore this sad episode of our history and move on.
This protest so far has maintained zero ethnic coloration and that has been responsible for it's massive successes so far.

Travel / Re: Container Falls Over A Car At Cele Express Inward Oshodi, Causing Traffic by chyket(m): 8:09am On Sep 12, 2020
The most heartbreaking part of these falling containers is Government at all levels in Nigeria keeping quiet and pretending as if the accidents are not happening.
70% of the Trailers conveying these Containers are so rickety that when you see them, you wonder who authorised the loading of such heavy duty Containers on the Vehicles.
Is it also possible that Govt comes out with a Law/Advisory that will encourage some importers to Offload some certain categories of Cargoes that are not easily pliferable to smaller trucks and transport to final destinations.I think most Auto Dealers do that.

The Nigerian Pilots to man these fighter jets should be extensively trained given the level of sophistication it comes with, otherwise we may loose some of them quickly to Pilot error.

Politics / Re: Ifeanyi Ubah Snubs Innoson Ambulance, Buys Foreign Vehicles (Photos) by chyket(m): 10:31pm On Aug 07, 2020
Innoson's major strategic flaw is the fact that He wants to assemble and always sell to the end user.Automobile business is commision driven and for as long as he does not incorporate other Auto Dealers into his sales system,he may never dominate the market.
He also needs to work on his pricing relative to other Chinesse brands in the Nigerian market. The prices of his vehicles most times are even more expensive than fully built imported Chinesse brands and nobody will buy any vehicle from him just because it was locally assembled except it's competitively well priced.
Business / Re: Shoprite To Leave Nigeria After 15 Years - News24 by chyket(m): 9:58am On Aug 03, 2020
It's Competition that is chasing them away! They had it so good when they started initially but as Nigerians started developing the Shopping Mall culture,a lot of new entrants entered in suburbs and communities and cut off many of their former Customers. The Corona virus pandemic also pushed Nigerians into online shopping and their Customer base was further eroded hence this decision to consider quitting.

Who cares about fight or no fight....thats your problem in your own enclave what you do with your machette.....Im concerned with labour and productivity.

What im saying....there needs to be acknowledgement when we see a state doing good. Abia is doing good. Aba people just posted their achievement in shoe production. Respect and honor it.

Your shoe warehouse in Nnewi has been there a long time....why are you choosing this momwnt to bring it out and kill Aba glory. Ehhn? Jealousy go kill una for dat Anambra.

What you don't understand is that COMPETITION remains the critical success secret of the Igbo tribe!!!It's actually the greatest driving force for continous enterprenual successes recorded in Igboland, coincidentally Competition is also the driving force of CAPITALISM.

He was my Colleague in the bank a longtime ago and he is a go-getter,but I can't vouch for the other variables.

I really don't think Dogara was badly treated in PDP Bauchi or even nationally!.It's all Politics and the fact that his defection needs to be justified. It also an early realignment for 2023 Election.

The relationship has moved forward positively and let it be indeed!!! It's unfair to go back to the previous negative issues you had, unless there is something new negatively she has done.
I am sure that if we are preview to what you also told your own friends at the challenging period of the relationship,we may not continue to see you the way we currently do.
Please move forward

I also love the fact that he admitted his human vulnerability in his speech.
