adanny01:It still doesn't matter. I'm not against Tinubu or any other contestant like I always say. My favorite candidate mustn't win but the important thing is that the person that wins must do so by a free, fair, credible and transparent process, and then he'd have earned the right and legitimacy to be called our president! |
It's not by reeling out statistics that are disputable. These your statistics would have held water if the elections were free, credible, fair and transparent. But for now, these stuffs you put out there only remain mere disputed numbers until they're either endorsed by a credible judgement of the supreme court or the real statistics being put forward by the petitioners are rather the ones endorsed. You're welcome! |
QuinModah:My dear sir, cultures differ geographically. Stop all these comparisons with westerners. That something is acceptable in a certain country doesn't mean it will be acceptable in the culture of another country! Even within Nigeria, there are certain things you can do in the South East which you can't do if you go to the North or South West because they're not culturally acceptable, and vice versa! That homosexuality is acceptable in US doesn't mean that it must be acceptable in every other country. Point is, when in Rome do as the Romans do. Even in primary school, we were taught that it's difficult to change cultures and traditions. Observe the societal values and norms of the region you're in. If you can't fit in, then move out. Don't try to impose your own warped norms on those of the society in which you find yourself. Does that make sense sir? Good 👍 |
I'm a Peter Obi supporter but if this is true, then I'm truly disappointed |
kyber:Hey if you were the owner of a very sensitive company or a hospital, would you love to employ someone who dresses haggardly? Imagine a doctor coming to an interview dressing like a gangster. Point is, it's not just about the intelligence of the person, but your customers who patronize your company also take these things into consideration. Imagine going to a hospital and you see a doctor dressed like gangsters I'm sure you won't wait for anyone to tell you that you can't entrust your life or those of your loved ones into the hands of such a doctor. The outward appearance tells a lot about a person even before they open their mouth to utter any word. |
9jabox:Exactly the same question I ask my brethren in Benue and Kaduna! |
Penguin2:And what makes you think Tinubu would give you free and fair election if he stays till 2027? It's just like what people were saying in 2015 when they voted out Jonathan and put in Buhari. They said if Buhari doesn't perform they'd vote him out like they voted out Jonathan. And I told them then that Jonathan gave you free and fair election, what makes you think Buhari would give you same free and fair elections? And I was proven right. Infact as it stands now, if Tinubu is sworn in, just forget about anything free and fair election for the next generation because a man that loves power would use any means to perpetuate himself and his descendants in such power by any means possible, no matter the opposition he faces. If he could buy over opposition as a non-president you can now imagine how easy it would be for him to suppress opposition as a sitting president, that's if God ever permits him to sit on the throne. |
I had this strange vision yesterday and wish to share. I sincerely wish no man any ill but want to share what I had seen. In this vision, I saw lots of persons, a crowd standing and looking towards what looked like a podium. The whole atmosphere was one of funfare and celebrations. Within this podium I saw a man, the APC candidate, the one whom people claim stole or subverted the mandate of the people, stand on the podium to give a speech, and he was the centre of the whole funfare. Suddenly I saw him slump to the ground and I saw commotion everywhere. People ran Helter skelter. Several minutes later, I saw people looking very sober and sad, and I heard them say he is gone. The man is gone. And I saw some APC top wigs go into a close door meeting to discuss what had transpired and the revelation was taken off. He that has hears would understand. The will of God stands sure. Note this date 20th March, 8:20am. |
yarimo:That a certain government in the past did such nonsense doesn't mean the present government must do it too. How will this country get better if we keep comparing evil with evil and arguing which evil was better. |
Fejoku:But isn't it this same group that kills it's own people and burns down their businesses they're supposed to protect in the guise of sit at home, using so called ESN? I'm a supporter of Nnamdi Kanu's struggles but the violent way they go about it most times is what irritates me. If they don't cage that Finland guy, IPOB might end up being number 1 terrorist group. For crying out loud, why destroy the livelihood of the same people you claim to protect, majority of whom are business men? Why murder them because they don't adhere to the sit at home? It's barbaric. I'm even surprised that they're just 10th. |
Insultme:My man relax, the guy just told you the truth. You're a simp, no insults intended. Any man who cannot take charge and control his home is heading for disaster. Your first problem started when she told you she was going to the club and you never took charge by stopping that nonsense there and then, but sheepishly permitting it. I mean, what is a married woman doing in a club without her husband? The moment a woman begins such behavior and starts to keep wayward friends, then you know the end is near, even a mumu can tell that. Your failure to control her at that initial point led to such bad behavior snowballing into what it is right now... that she should have the audacity to leave her husband's house and go to another man's house to receive his dick (yes, that's exactly what happened), and still clubbed with him. All these show that the Respect and honour she has for you as her husband is totally gone! And the moment a woman loses that honor for her husband, she can even bang a stranger in front of her husband and won't give a damn. It's honor and respect that keeps a woman in check. Like one commentator said, your marriage is a good as dead. Call it off immediately. No need to negotiate, it would add more insults and disrespect. If a woman cannot know without being told that hanging out in another man's place and clubbing with him is a huge disrespect to her spouse, then I don't think you should waste your time sitting her down and talking to her. It's like you sitting down an adult and advising him that killing is a crime. That adult ought to naturally know that without being told. So if that adult needs you to advise him that killing is a crime, you should know that that adult is irredeemable and you're just wasting your time talking. That's the same situation with your wife right now. In fact I'm surprised you even sought advice here when it's obvious what you should have done. You bleeped up by closing your eyes to the initial signs of randiness which she displayed, and she saw that you were a weak man and decided to trample on you and see you as shit. You've lost that Respect. |
Legitisreal:Relax, there's a God in heaven and he rules in the affairs of men! Any man that feels he's God and thus can corruptly control any system of government is setting up himself against the most high like Nebuchadnezzar. |
I thought a lot of you were shouting at the top of your lungs and supporting this policy, calling Emefiele a hero and saying it was against Tinubu and would prevent election fraud. I shouted for all who cared to listen that the people that will suffer it is the masses and not even the politicians, that such a policy was really stupid, but yet I was attacked. Now elections came and ended up being the worst and most fraudulent election in Nigeria's history despite the so called stupid policy. Vote buying was even increased to another level using dollars. In the end, it's the masses who are still suffering it. Nigerians and stupidity are like 5 & 6! |
fergie001:Exactly. Atiku's problem wasn't the north but his failure to win in zones that were hitherto PDP's hotcakes like the North Central, South East and South South, which voted massively for Obi. Just add up Atiku's vote with Peter Obi, and you'd see that Atiku would have won by landslide if Obi didn't take away those key zones mentioned. Like you rightly mentioned, this was Atiku's best outing in the north so far, at least he didn't have someone in the mould of Buhari to contend with over there. |
Sincerely this is the worst Chelsea side I've seen since before the days Mourinho took over! Sacking Tuchel was really unnecessary, and they have never been the same since then |
Shoodboi:Nice analysis |
My main concern is not who lost or won, but that the whole process should be done freely and fairly. If Tinubu or anyone must win, they should do that on a free, fair and credible basis, and not the openly shambolic process we saw where votes from one party were deducted and those from another party inflated by different mechanisms. |
I must confess that I'm impressed with the job that ETH has done with man utd. I never really gave him a chance at the start but right now I can say they're the best currently in the league and doing well in Europe as well. Removal of Ronaldo and bringing in Casemiro did them a lot of good. |
An unknown person or entity sending you money you know you never worked for or merited in anyway is obviously a scam |
Hi. I have been coming across this word. Can someone please explain the meaning of "Eluuu Pee" |
Ilaje1:Same LP that won presidential elections in that state by a wide margin, even with same PDP contesting? Did the divided PDP vote stop them from winning the state at presidential elections? I don't understand your analysis please |
I'm a labour party supporter but sincerely I love sanwo olu. My only problem is his undue attachment and subservience to Tinubu. Otherwise I think he should be re-elected |
Where is Oshiomhole's wife from Mauritius? Haven't heard or seen her with him in ages |
Hatrick01:Transekulu |
Hatrick01:Can you link me up please. I'm looking at a similar project, and I reside in Enugu |
Hatrick01:How many rooms and parlour please? And Where can I get contractors to handle this? |
kcnwaigbo:I hear the guy as commissioner was really terrible. Infact incompetent is a nice word to use for him. I pray LP votes for Frank nweke jnr |
dustmalik:It's not just about dashing LP the votes. Corresponding votes will also be deducted from APC, and of course you know what that means. And it's not just Rivers and Lagos that APC rigged. Even in some states they lost (e.g plateau where Obi officially had over 1 million votes) and even won, they inflated their votes. So by the time these votes are deducted and added to the opposition, APC won't even see up to 2 million votes, trust me. So imagine adding over two million votes to LP and deducting that same 2 million from APC, then you would understand the real situation at hand. |
helinues:Well it paid off for him at the cost of open betrayal to his people which might end up costing him the governorship because his people will get back at him. Secondly, he should also pray that Tinubu's fake and fraudulent victory isn't overturned at the courts because he will lose entirely on all ends. |
Shikena:Lol |
Thing is, the standard of living in such places are very high. Minimum wage per HOUR is quite high (about $17 per hour or $170 per day for a 10hour work day or $950 per week or $4000 per month as minimum wage) so the cost might not make any difference and it might be pointless comparing it to a country like Nigeria where minimum wage per MONTH is below $50. |
