DyingFetus:Says someone who tried and tried and tried to become a medical doctor and failed and failed and failed until frustration kicked in ![]() |
EleventhWeirdo:What even surprised me more was that the mood was supposed to at least be a somber one considering the fact that the governor just died. Even if they waited for him to die or hated him, they should have at least hidden it and given him that last honour by being in a mournful mood rather than these celebrations. Even the sworn in governor didn't hide his disdain |
At times I wonder whether the kinda stupid stories I read here are true. I mean how can a guy in his right senses spend over a 100k on a girl he's not married to? A girl who'd dump his silly arse for another guy at any moment. I wonder whether some persons just naturally walk around without brains. |
Those are the kinda women girls of nowadays should be emulating! The Alakija woman is an achiever, super wealthy, yet you don't hear of any news of her disrespecting her marriage institution or values, or her husband. Yet foolish girls around can't borrow a leaf from her but want to learn bad attitudes from feminists |
Curse777:Did I hear you say professionals? Lol. People that were appointed to cover up the mess of the last minister especially that Ethiopian airlines scandal which the country is yet to recover from? Dey play |
quinox947:Maybe I'm missing out something. What has attorney general and commissioner of justice got to do with impeachment? It's actually the CHIEF JUDGE of the state that receives and acts on the notice of impeachment from the state assembly and NOT the commissioner who is actually an appointee of the state governor himself. So to avert the impeachment stuff, it's the chief judge that has to be removed not the attorney general and commissioner of justice. |
Curse777:You just ended up speaking too much irrelevant grammar without answering the question! |
richiemcgold:But there's no division within the state or any division which directly impacts on them. But like you rightly pointed out, there are ways of exploiting the loopholes in the law |
NaijaCowFarm:Exactly, and they even made matters worse for themselves by decamping to another party. The law clearly states that such lawmakers automatically lose their seats if they decamp from the party that sponsored them into power. So the governor can even use that as a perfect opportunity to hit them. No wonder he acts like he isn't bothered about the whole situation |
richiemcgold:Lol I hope you know that these guys have played into the hands of the governor. I hope you know according to the law, the state now has only 5 house of assembly members. Because the law clearly states that a lawmaker automatically vacates his seat the moment he decamps from the party which sponsored him to the position. So the governor can argue from this point and by the law, use the only valid 5 members to sign that Budget. The wike lawmakers defected too early, my thoughts. They gave the governor the upper hand. |
psalmsjob:Lol you can't just analyze the amount spent on food in isolation. It'd be irrational and illogical to do that. You have to place it side by side with how much they earn! Someone who earns over #3million naira a month as in the UK would see #180k a month food as a piece of cake while someone who earns #250-300k per month like in your country Nigeria would see such #180k spending on food as outrageous. Please not everyone has that poor mentality like most Nigerians. In the US I resided, my accomodation cost per month was about $1300 which is like over #1.3million per month for accomodation alone. But I never felt this because I earned way above $8k per month. So please get your analysis right. |
Difrent:Lol your anger and frustration should be directed at your government who don't know how to keep and maintain and take care of their own health care workers which the likes of Britain is teaching them how to. By the way, I heard from the grapevine that your federal government are thinking of ways to increase the number of admissions into medical school and train and graduate them for the western countries to poach again. This is what happens when you don't have a sound intellectual leader at the helm of affairs. |
robosky02:These guys are fools. Wasn't it just recently they renewed his contract even after he had woeful performances with the super eagles. Nigerians were even shouting to their voices that this coach's contract shouldn't be renewed in view of his disastrous performances with the eagles yet this stupid NFF still went ahead and renewed it with juicy exit clauses that favoured the man, and just see the mess they have gotten themselves and the nation into. I just feel this NFF board should be sacked entirely! |
kingthreat:Lol how long would we keep moving on only to repeat same mistakes. I recall this was same issue that happened in our previous matches including the last one against a mediocre Saudi Arabian side and people like you were saying we should move on and learn our lessons. The point is, the lessons are never learnt. Must we crash out of the world cup qualifiers in the weakest group for you to know that something is intrinsically wrong with our football...poor average coach, unpatriotic players, corrupt football association etc. Until we overhaul these areas starting with sacking the average coach then this same cycle of failure would continue. |
You ended up making a complaint without making any meaning or sense. After making such complaint you should have ended up by telling us what the right way to use a headlight is. But you never told us what you understand or know to be the right way to use a headlight. Thus, making your post a little senseless |
I don't know why these guys don't know that these strategies of certificate forgery accusations no longer work in Nigeria. We have no judiciary. I've completely lost hope in this Nigerian system. When I hear stuffs like this, I just lose interest because I already know what the response of the judiciary would be even if the certificate was actually forged. Nigeria has been deeply thrown into the muds, sadly |
Kyase:You obviously talk without reasoning. You don't use threat when it comes to doctor matters because these doctors have way better options than Nigeria. Some of these grieving doctors are only using this as a last resort to see if the government will change and make them stay back. Most of them already have one leg outside the country. So such insensitive talks from a minister would only aggravate the already existing scarcity of doctors in Nigeria. And who loses in the end? It's people like you because even Woke himself wouldn't treat himself in your hospitals in Nigeria an the so called doctors you're attacking now would be enjoying life outside the country. A government that allocates billions to lawmakers for just SUV vehicles should never complain that they don't have money for doctors. |
yarimo:You call building of a stadium, especially in a poverty stricken state, good governance? Lol |
Some of you don't understand the way personal fasting works. Any personal fasting that carries publicity is no longer a fast unto God but pure hunger strike. The publicity she has received and the glory she has received from people and taken away from God is already her reward for this hunger strike. The moment I saw all these publicity attached to this so called fast, I didn't bother reading this further. True Christians know how potent a secret fast is. |
theophorus:Counselling on top of clear infidelity? Are you seriously okay? What is there to counsel or ignore once infidelity is involved? It's divorce straight or else he'd find himself six feet below one day. There are certain issues you don't bargain or give a second chance especially when it involves a woman. Infidelity from a woman is a very dangerous thing to ignore or let go of trust me |
Now I have thought about this question several times especially when I hear lots of girls say a man raped them. Is it really possible for just one man to rape a fully conscious girl without threatening her (e.g with gun, knife, beating her to stupor, etc) or getting her drugged etc? I always wonder like what was she doing while the so called guy was unzipping her tight Jean trousers and further removing her several layers of inner tights and panties, and even spread her legs open or try to insert inside her, especially when she has access to even disarming him by his balls. |
naijapips04:Na wa for this your kind of reasoning. If you argued like this for a man it'd be understandable. But not for a woman. For a woman I don't think one can bother so much because a woman has several sources of raking in millions. She could be married to a billionaire husband. She could also flirt around with rich guys etc. So seeing her with such expensive items shouldn't cause one to raise an eyebrow. Even when you come down to common universities here. You'd see girls who came from very poor homes flaunting millions from hustles with different men. So is it now a whole female DSP who's also beautiful that can't use what she has to get what she wants? Please allow the matter rest, you have no case there. |
Whytelyon:Then let the embassies do the right thing and abide by the laws of the country they're in! If the agreement said that if they fail to develop the land at a certain period, it would be revoked, then what is wrong is what the minister is doing. Wike is even being gracious by giving 3 extra months grace. Most of these embassies can't try this shit with other countries! So doing it here in Nigeria shows you the level of disregard and disrespect they have for Nigeria as a nation and her laws. If for anything, they should even be the ones leading by example. That they're an embassy doesn't give them the right to act as they please in total disregard to the laws of the country that accommodates them. I'm sure they'd never have given Nigeria any period of grace if the Nigerian embassy had breached an agreement on land development in their country. I applaud the minister. I think it's high time we get people to start doing the right thing in this country, irrespective of who they are! |
BiafranPatriot:Are these foreign embassies God that must be worshipped? So he should revoke the lands of genuine citizens of Nigeria for contravening on an agreement but shouldn't do that for foreigners? It's people like you that lick arse of foreigners and worship them like gods. If for anything, it's even these foreign embassies that should lead by example when they're in a foreign land. If these foreigners can renege on an agreement, which they wouldn't dare try to do with another country, then it shows you how despicable and lowly they regard Nigeria, and Nigeria accordingly has to use them to set an example that it doesn't give a hoot about who they are! It irritates me when I see Nigerians like you worship foreigners like they're your God. Spits! |
minakom:DSS? ![]() Same DSS that kept mute when a certain guy in Lagos was threatening to kill everyone of a particular ethnic group during elections? I laugh. |
How is this supposed to be an achievement? Most people don't even know that it's the British that benefit from these kinda stuffs by increasing revenue that moves from Nigeria to England. What the government should be doing is to create policies reverse that trend of Nigeria losing money to these guys. I don't know how more clueless this can be. And to even think that it is a whole government that is lauding this stuff is laughable. It shows how senseless the government is. They're applauding something that is making you lose your very best in terms of manpower and resources to another country when they're supposed to be at the forefront of reversing that trend. |
Jogs1900:You don't even get the point! The election tribunal had given a judgement which placed FCT like a state, and so going by the tribunal judgement, if they say FCT holds no special status but is a state like every other state in Nigeria then they should accordingly produce their own governor and three senators and equivalent HOR members like every other state. Now if you say they (FCT residents) should channel this to the legislature for the legislature to make them a state, then you're indirectly saying that FCT isn't a state yet and that the conclusion of the tribunal that FCT is already like a state was wrong. So the entire point here is that, the errors of the tribunal has clearly come up and it is already creating rippling effects and consequences. |
I wonder how such a story would make front page when there are no pictures to back up this story. This is abysmal reporting |
Why post the picture of the girl? Is marriage by force? This is real defamation here and the girl could sue you heavily for posting her picture without consent for defamatory purposes. |
Is this the arsenal they say will win premier league? I laugh! They're just playing a load of rubbish. The annoying thing is that even when they play rubbish you still see their players laughing over it. It's in stark contrast to the serious mindedness teams like Man City and Liverpool and co approach games. To win the league, a club needs to be consistent from start to finish. But this arsenal side lacks consistency. |
Wow I'm mightily impressed by this team. Even if they lose, this Nigerian side has made me proud! I eat my words when I thought they won't stand up to England. This is one of the best Nigerian displays in both male and female I've seen so far |
Fugazy2023:What is the difference between a military coup and what happened in Nigeria in the last elections where one unwanted man was imposed on a nation against their wishes? What is the difference between a military coup and what we have today where this illegitimate government disobeys court orders and judgements? Please spare me this thrash statement. Do you know why the coup leaders in Niger still stand their ground and even make caricature of Nigeria's illegitimate president openly? It's more like pot (Nigerian president) calling kettle (Niger coup plotters) black. |
