This is not about the deadline for depositing old notes but about the deadline for it to be a legal tender. You can't just abruptly, within the space of 1-3months stop an old currency from being a legal tender. It doesn't happen anywhere in the world. Even a fool knows it would create chaos. The Britain you're talking about did this over a prolonged period. They made old notes to concurrently circulate and remain a legal tender with new notes while gradually withdrawing the old ones from the system. That way, you don't get to see the kinda of chaos being witnessed today.

It's not by arresting bank CEOs. Which sane country in the world completely withdraws old currency within 1-3months? It's really idiotic. Countries do these things gradually over several months to years. Now they say it's to prevent electoral vote buying. You think Tinubu or his loyal governors can't simply put a call to some bank managers who are their boys and demand for millions of naira of these new notes? Obi doesn’t care about his own people which is why he couldn’t even provide a skill acquisition programs for the youth in Anambra. Have you ever consider Agbero as a youth empowerment scheme? A leader who failed to have his youth engaged turns them into criminals or kidnappers like the Bokoharam and Ipob terrorists. Even as populous as Lagos, there’s no threat there and it’s safest state and you know why, because Tinubu got the youth engaged which is something even the federal government could not do.

I can't recall anywhere in my message where I mentioned Obi. The fact that you just made Obi the entire topic of this your long response even when I never made any reference to him, though very funny, shows how bitter and tribalistic you are. Or is Obi the only presidential candidate? Why didn't you also reference Atiku or Kwankwaso or Sowore so that we'd know you were logical and sound in your assessment or evaluation of things. This is very simple. First, is she already your wife? I believe your sister should have more right and access to your house and property than your girlfriend should. If she was your wife, then maybe she might have a point in complaining about you guys privacy. But it's stupidity to place your girlfriend in a more important position than your own blood. That same girlfriend who's complaining would not think twice about dumping you if someone like Dangote chykes her nut your sister has seen you completely since you were a kid and both of you share a lot, and I'm sure that same sister probably took care of you guys at some stage in your life.

You ended up not making sense! That someone believes there is a reason for an agitation doesn't mean he supports it. The problem is the way agitations are handled. And to think that this same government still holds KANU in jail despite numerous court orders freeing him, and yet still frees confirmed Boko Haram terrorists shows why the country and the ipob agitation has degenerated to this condition. It takes a wise president to rule a nation like Nigeria. It's not everything that military force can quell especially when it's obviously tribalistic. There's a big difference between the two. In Obi's case, he's not the one doing the publicity. It's the masses, especially the youths, who are projecting him forward in such an amazing way. Maduka had to spend his own money to gain publicity but in Obi's case, it's the masses who are spending for him. Infact I feel it's too late for Obi to step down because it's no longer his call to make or his personal race to finish, but it's now the call of the masses. Post election results go shock you.
