Omenani:"Biri kam Biri" is something that they will never understand.Anything that concerns the Igbo they have to stick their Yoruba imi into it. |
DapoBear:So be it. |
jason12345:We'll leave with all biafran territory. |
DapoBear:Your comments about Biafra, Rivers, and SE definitely shows you are ignorant to the diversity and history of the two regions. Most yoruba's i know and have met are like that although I blame nigeria for that for the most part. I used Biafra as shorthand for the 5 states of the SE region. Let me not use that term against lest it cause confusion, I'll just say SE.Yea try not to do that next time.Try a little research i find out what tribes biafra consisted of and area. Also, if you want to refer to igbo try not to single it the the 5 states ok? Of course, it is obvious that Nigeria (the federal gov't itself, that is) would prefer not to lose ANY territory. But some territory is more valuable and essential than others. Now look deep into what you just wrote preferably the second sentence and see why i said you have a parasitic mentality. Look Deep. Lol, my parasitic mentality? So if I explain why X happens in a country, I'm also an advocate of X, and want X to continue happening? You can reason a bit better than that, I hope.Reread what you have written so far then ask yourself again why i called u parasitic, at least that's what your comments imply, i.e. "WE ARE NOT LETTING RIVERS GO BECAUSE WE NEED TO FEED OUR BELE!". You were not explain that initially go back and read. I guess you can't see why non-SE Igbos are offended by your comments.smh. |
DapoBear:I swear yorubas should stay out of SS and SE business. What is your definition of a biafran and what tribes make up Biafra? Your second sentence even contradicts what you've been arguing about the whole time. Wouldn't nigeria stongly prefer not to loose any states? Isn't that why we are discussing this topic in the first place? You parasitic mentality is starting to rear its head, im glad the OP is seeing this. |
rekeson:The militancy and freedom fighting will soon pay off we SS and SE have always fought for freedom. We are even the once who brought indepence for nigeria. They fight will soon pay off. There are those who are going further than militancy and are incorporating litigation such as Asari Dokubo's NDPVF and Ralph Uwazuruike's MASSOB. |
DapoBear:Well your perspective is filled with deceit and smells of ignorance. |
rekeson:Now you see how this yoruba fool Dapo has come to lie to you because he thinks you know nothing about nigeria. I'm Igbo and from the SS, and we Igbos in the SS want to leave as well. Igbo land is not restricted to 5 states, its way beyond that and this parasite knows that. Now I hope you are see it. Also the The Igbos from the SS want to leave also and create a Niger Delta Republic, that's why theres been a lot of hostility and militancy going on down there. He talks about most Biafrans want to carry south-south, so does that mean the non-igbo south-south people don't have a say so or there own mind? rekeson, i hope you are seeing it. |
Bialegend:There's only one particular tribal group that does that, i ain't goin say no names . The same people will say who a particular guy wanted to conquer them and that was wrong but these same bone heads turn around say stuff in a matter that suggest they are conquers of the East and they won't let them go.Quite a hypocrisy. It the case of the "If you let them leave, then we should be let to leave" kind of thing. Kind of like a competition thing. One gets mad at the other because the other is more industious and about action. The one's getting mad, inside they know the are angry because they don't have the guts to do the same. That's all. However, i must say they all don't think like that just the majority. |
ceasyc:come on come to daddy boo,muaaaahhhh u know i luv u |
ceasyc:Ouch, looks like i hit a nerve. somebody really needs a man.Lol, its gonna be ok boo boo ![]() |
ceasyc:come on kip quiet jor. u know mercy dey fine pass. may the "i miss you" pic on ur profile was because ur man left for mercy. u see hatin is no good ooo i hear it can cause you to add pounds like buffalo. |
Ileke-IdI:well try the old downlaod sites like ares, warez, limewire. . .hope it will be of help, with your freaky self lol ![]() |
Ileke-IdI:Ileke look at u Lol. . .idk |
Ileke-IdI:you can't youtube that lol, u got to get it off a download site.sorry Ileke i know u want to get turned on tonite but like that. ![]() |
Ileke-IdI:Come on,u saw the tape. |
I hear they sell their daughters off at an early age up North, so i guess that's where he's headed. |
who's Mikel? |
Yo why do yall keep hatin on Mercy? All of the females know she'd snatch up their man in a hot second.Threatening aint she, ouch ![]() |
Genevieve of course, although i'd choose rokiatu over both of them any day. ![]() |
babapupa: |
babapupa:First off, i never said we needed you "people"'s help. why ask for your help when yall can't even help yourselves?. , Second, numero two-no, we igbos prove time and time we know our history our lands history, the history of igbo clans that are not even our own so, um don't confuse us with your people ok omo? Don't get mad at us because your people couldn't fight for what they wanted( odudwa republic) blame ur fore fathers not mine. ![]() So skidadle you agbero. BTW what does that mean in yoruba, because i've heard alot of Igbos referring to your people by that name. ![]() |
kcjazz:First off, its not about oil money. We igbos are innovative and industrious people. We do not need to rely on oil to make a great nation or livelihood. Innoson Motors is an example of that. Another thing is Igbos are from the SS oil is there also, oil is also in the SE,but anyways thats besides the point. As far as investments in other lands, there's a thing called diplomacy and trade amongst neighboring countries. If those countries to anything to scuttle that diplomacy between the other country that that country will suffer the consequences. Reltaionships to have to die if the regions separate, do individuals not have buisness social, and family relationships in the U.S., Ghana, Togo, etc.? Aren't those separate countries from nigeria? African nations prosper according to what each of those nations are use to. We Igbos would do better under a parliamentary system government which is almost the same as our communities have been run for hundreds of years. "Igbo enweghi Eze", Igbos have no king. President=king, not a good system for us, as tyranny was used by every nigerian president. As far as the "Igbo leaders" it would make it that much easier to take those fool out one a new country is created and also while power is no longer centralized. |
babapupa:You make a point. Now all you have to do is contact all of your yoruboid groups such as Afenifere, oodua, and the rest of them to help the Igbos leave because definitely such people like the igbo be apart of nigeria. It is definitely sicken. Hey but yea contact those people an di will help with that also so that the Igbos can leave the what you say would have been a better union without the Igbo. Agreed? |
kcjazz:kcjazz ur comment is definitely jazz indeed. You really dont see the other side of the tunnel. |
New militant organisation dares JTF News Nov 16, 2010 By Emma Amaize WARRI—A new militia organization, under the aegis of Niger Delta Liberation Force, NDLF, yesterday, dared the Joint Task Force, JTF, on the Niger Delta over its plan to level down all militant camps in the Niger Delta. The group, led by an ex-militant leader, ‘General’ John Togo declared a fresh oil war with a vow to cripple oil facilities. It also said its fighters would operate on both land and sea. For the avoidance of doubt, the group, which has nine former leaders of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta, MEND, in its fold, in a statement by its spokesman, ‘Captain’ Mark Anthony, said its activities had nothing to do with MEND, adding that it was inaugurated to reposition the Niger Delta struggle for justice, equity and fairness. It described the post-amnesty programme as a sham, saying the good intention of late President Umaru Yar’Adua has been hijacked by fellow Niger Deltans for selfish interests. Its words, “We therefore, declare that we are no longer part of the fraudulent amnesty which is full of deceit and betrayal. We have recruited and trained fresh able-bodied fighters across the Niger Delta States to execute our mission. This time, we will operate on both land and sea and we urge all foreign diplomatic missions to call their nationals in Niger Delta multinationals to vacate the Niger Delta region immediately as we cannot guarantee their safety. “Our fight is not about security personnel. It is primarily tagged second phase of an oil war with oil installations as our targets. Soldiers of the JTF should stay away from oil well heads and our operations as we may appear more violent than our earlier first phase of oil war.” According to the group, “Precisely 4th October 2009 was the deadline from Federal Government for Niger Delta armed agitators to surrender arms to enable them develop the over 50 years neglected and marginalized Niger Delta oil bearing communities. We accepted Federal Government’s amnesty under duress.” http://www.vanguardngr.com/2010/11/new-militant-organisation-dares-jtf/ |

bones1: Nsiman:What did I do? I posted another article relating to this same topic by the Daily Trust but it was spam-botted. New Thread: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-551774.0.html#msg7152209 |
abadaba:I hear you but the fact that one has to be ostrasized because of ethnicity and has to work the hardest to get the least is unacceptable. Me, myself I would love to move back home, "Igboland" but 'nigeria" has put a cork in that. That's is a reason why millions of nigerians are abroad. Honestly, If we Igbos and Ibibios had our own country as planned how do you think we would have been today? |
abadaba:No my brother. There is strength in unity. There's no unity in this country that's why it is weak. As for Ndigbo "Oganihu bu n'kanyi". |
abadaba:I hope what you wrote is sarcasm. |
Omenani:We are all pawns in a game between whites and arabs. The same thing is happening in nigeria now as we speak. The arabs are supporting the northerners while the West has been supporting southerns because of our oil. They are already bringing africom to the south that is why there was a projection by the US of nigeria slitting around 2015. |
