Hi Nairalanders I can't stand people who do bad things to others in the name of A Joke. A Joke is no excuse for bad behaviour. I remember, many years ago, there was this married man that was a colleague of mine - we worked in the same office and I got on fairly well with him, same as with most of my other colleagues. One day, as I was walking along in the corridor, I was chatting and laughing with him and as I walked ahead of him, he came up behind me and grabbed my a*rse. I was really shocked and screamed at him to get off. He seemed to think it was funny. Eventually I filed a complaint against him (and so did 2 other women in the office that he was bothering as well) and he lost his job. I don't think he was laughing anymore when his salary dried up. I know of a woman who is very short sighted - she is practically blind without her glasses. One day when she was out in a London nightclub, some guy came up to her, pulled her glasses off her face and ran off with it laughing. He seemed to think it was funny. She called the police and they arrested the man and put him in a police cell. I doubt if he continued laughing when they put him in the police cell. I remember some years ago, when I was working in another office in London, some male colleague I used to work with came and stood behind me and was chatting with me and a female colleague. Then, all of a sudden, he grabbed my neck and started shaking me by the neck. He seemed to think it was funny but I was not amused. Even though he wasn't strangling me very hard, the mere shock of being strangled at all and having someone's hand round my throat made me scream at him very loudly. I was very displeased by his behaviour. I could have had him arrested and sacked that same night, although I didn't. He is very lucky I didn’t report him – but I was very displeased. Do you remember that incident when Sir Alex Ferguson (Manager of Manchester United Football Club) was waiting for his taxi at Kings Cross Station in London and a man came up to him and punched him twice in the gonads. Sir Alex called the police and they arrested the man. When the case went to court, the man told the judge that he meant it as a joke when he punched Sir Alex. The judge told the man that it wasn’t funny for Sir Alex. The judge sentenced the man to 2 years imprisonment. Anyway, my point is this - I hate it when people think it is ok to do bad things to me in the name of humour or as a joke. Have you had any experiences where someone has done something bad to you in the name of joking. How did you handle it? Did you let them get away with it - or did you report them and make sure they were punished? |
A womanising fraudster who hijacked the identities of soldiers and nurses in a £1.3million benefits plot has today been jailed for six years. Chibuikem Uzoma-Ubani, 29, persuaded several lovers to help him launder the profits from the swindle that targeted tax credits and Sure Start maternity grants. Denisa Camacho, 28, of Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire, and Katrina Papiernikova, 27, of Romford, Essex both had relationships with Uzoma-Ubani, after arriving in the UK from Slovakia and were accused of turning a blind eye to his activities. Uzoma-Ubani, of Romford, Essex, married Camacho married in 2004, then divorced her and had two children by Papiernikova. The women both insisted they knew nothing about his crooked schemes and were both cleared of money laundering, but a third lover Ornela Miguel, 26, admitted the offence. Uzoma-Ubani and fellow Nigerian Leonard Nwannenah, 33, of Dagenham, Essex, opened a ‘bewildering’ 752 bank accounts using the names of hard-working medics and members of the armed forces over a six-year period. The pair were jailed for six years each while Miguel was handed a three-month sentence, suspended for 12 months. Nwanneneh’s younger brother Okechi Nwannenah, 30, of Dagenham and Okechi’s wife Jennifer Okonkwo, 29, also allowed their bank accounts to be used to launder the proceeds. Okechi was conditionally discharged for 18 months while Okonkwo will be sentenced later. Prosecutor Peter Finnigan QC said the gang netted at least £665,000 and would have made £1.3million had all of the bogus applications for benefit payments been successful. He said: ‘This case concerns the sophisticated and professional fraud operation which went on for a number of years. ‘This was done by targeting the UK’s benefit system and by cheque fraud. ‘They used a bewildering number of post office and bank accounts which numbered in the hundreds Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2110555/Chibuikem-Uzoma-Ubani-hijacked-identities-open-725-bank-accounts-1-3m-benefits-swindle.html#ixzz1oKstw8hH Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2110555/Chibuikem-Uzoma-Ubani-hijacked-identities-open-725-bank-accounts-1-3m-benefits-swindle.html#ixzz1oKskgYUdhttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2110555/Chibuikem-Uzoma-Ubani-hijacked-identities-open-725-bank-accounts-1-3m-benefits-swindle.html |
LastPage, I read your long post. It is very interesting and has some good points but I think the main thing you are forgetting is this: She was not sent to prison for refusing to let the girls use the shower, she was sent to prison for refusing to let the girls LEAVE Your employees/house helps/nannies/whatever should be free to leave your house the minute they want to. The minute you prevent them from leaving your house, you have comitted UNLAWFUL CAPTIVITY and that is equivalent to slavery. How would you like it if you worked for a company(e.g retail, insurance, finance etc) and one day, for whatever reason you decided that you have had enough of the way your boss is treating you and you decide to walk out of the job. You get up, pick your coat and briefacse and start to walk out, but the manager won't let you leave. He physically prevents you from leaving and is keeping you captive in the office. Would you not be angry? Should that manager not go to jail for holding you captive? So what's the difference in this Bello case? |
White British Historian David Starkey says that the white people who rioted did so because they were behaving like Blacks i.e. copying Black behaviour. LOL, so when Black people misbehave it is because they are black and bad. But when white people misbehave it is not because they are bad, it is simply because they have been led astray by black people whose bad behaviour they were copying. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2025554/David-Starkey-says-Enoch-Powell-right-infamous-rivers-blood-speech.html |
Back in the day when women did not work and were stay at home wives, it was fine for the woman to handle the houswork as her sole responsibility and the man handled working and bringing in the money as his sole responsibility. That was in the old days. In these modern times, a lot of wives are working full time and sharing the financial responsibilty with the husband, therefore the husband MUST share the domestic responsibility with the wife. Not "help out", share. End of |
Racism is simply the product of black people's failure, in particular, black africa's failure to advance. If africa were as advanced as say, singapore, korea, japan etc - do you think black people would still be looked down on they way they are currently looked down upon? Success begets admiration failure begets contempt (also known as racism) China is rising up as an economic/industrial superpower - and with it the status of chinese people and the esteem in which they are held around the world. Racism againts blacks is simply a product of black failure. Simple |
londoner:I agree with you in the sense that this interview is with an international audience (CNN) that is seen worldwide - so as an ambassador for her country she needs to be careful what she says about Nigeria to the outside world. But back home within Nigerian media, I hope she criticises the backside off Nigerian leaders and government. One of the things that really annoy me about Nigerians is that they are so tolerant of their governments corruption and misbehaviour. WHNE WILL NIGERIANS START GETTING ANGRY WITH THEIR GOVERNMENT? YOU TEACH YOUR GOVERNMENT HOW TO TREAT YOU!!! |
Aparently the name of the rugby player has been released - Joseph Mshongwana. He is actually a black man himself. The police say they do not believe there was any rape. It sound like the man is mentally disturbed. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/africa/south-african-rugby-player-charged-with-axe-murders-2258769.html [ |
A famous South African Former rugby player has been arrested and is being held in police custody for axe-murdering three black South African men who he accuses of despoiling his daughter and infecting her with hiv. His name is currently being witheld by the South African police to protect the daughter but it is known that the rugby player is believed to be white and 34 years old - so his poor daughter must be quite young. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1371485/Ex-South-African-rugby-star-murders-3-axe-gang-violation-revenge.html |
Siena:That's a valid point you know - don't forget that the NHS offers a private service for fee paying patients which some people choose to use because going private on the NHS is a lot cheaper than going to a completely private hospital. |
Nigerian men are so savage and backward. No wonder everyone over here in Europe dislikes them so mucn. |
GOD is merciful - HE will see them through this. Even when things look horrible and terrible, GOD is always in control. It may look awful to us and we don't understand why it is happening but it's not scary to GOD and it's all under his control. May GOD Bless the people of Japan - In Jesus's Name, Amen. GOD IS ALWAYS IN CONTROL!!! |
Nigerians we hail thee. When every other country in the world is getting their stranded citizens out of Libya - this is what the Nigerian government is doing - absoloutely nothing!! The Nigerian ambassador in Libya has fled to Malta and left thousands of desparate Nigerians stranded behind in Libya. Nigerian government of all goverenments should be working the hardest of all to get out Nigerian citizens, knowing fully well that right now there is a very strong anti-black sentiment amongst local Libyans who suspect anyone with black skin of being a Ghadaffi mercenary. Britain, France, USA, Japan etc have long since removed their citizens but it appears not so for Nigeria Oh, the joy of being a Nigerian! Nigerians we hail thee. There is a lot of racist and brutal oppression/backlash against black people in libya from the libyan people. I wonder how many blacks are being killed - the media is not reporting. Arabs have always been very racist against blacks - I don't have any time for them. |
justwise:I stand by every word I said. Nigerian born men are lechers who don't know how to keep their hands to themselves and this is a well known fact. I'm not saying that you don't have men like this in other nationalities - of course you do, but in lower numbers. It is in overwhelming numbers amongst Nigerian born men. Nigerian born men are especially prone to thinking that if a woman is verbally friendly towards him, then it is ok to go ahead and start touching her however he likes - this is very irritating for a women and leaves her with no choice but to withdraw her verbal friendliness and become standoffish. Here's an article of YET ANOTHER EXAMPLE of another Nigerian born man who could not behave himself. This is happening too often to be just an unfortunate series of co-incidences involving Nigerian born men. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1340568/I-bet-virgin-What-doctor-said-medic-pestered-date.html |
This is why I am very standoffish towards Nigerian men. They think that if a woman is verbally friendly towards them, then it means he has permission to touch her body any how he likes. A lot of men have this type of mentality, especially Nigerian men. This is why I am now very cold, standoffish to all my Nigerian male colleagues at work and Nigerian men in general. 1) The man was wrong to tap the woman's bottom 2) The woman was wrong to laugh about it. She is a married woman afterall and she should have reprimanded him very strongly - out of respect for herself and respect for her wedding ring. 3) The husband was wrong to beat the wife. He should have reacted in the way lord Reed described and warned the man to keep his hands of his wife, then taken his wife home and have it out with her verbally. And valentines day would be ruined - no special dinner, just go straight to bed - in separate rooms. |
quote by beknown "Time will tell because when Nigeria gets better, UK will not see many students from Nigeria anymore." Yes, but when will Nigeria get better. people have been waiting more than 30 years, |
muyiserra:Muyiserra are you or one of your parents a spanish citizen - were u or your parent born in spain? The reason I ask is because u say u got an EU passport - not visa. This thread is about Nigerians struggling to get visas to go abroad - not about people coming on here to gloat about their European (UK/SPAIN/GERMANY etc) or US citizenship! |
realdon:Lol. but seriously, nigerian men probably do the above to small boys as well, on top of everthing else they do. |
pro01:It is sexual harassment - how she smells is none of his business and you just know he was trying to lead up to something else. This made the nurse feel very uncomfortable Does he tell his male colleagues that they smell nice? |
D-sense:Any woman who has been on the receiving end of a Nigerian man's unwanted hands has every right to say "nigerian men must change" You sound like an angry 13 year old GROW UP!!! |
steeze:It's not racism. Don't play the race card. I'm complaining about the behaviour of Nigerian men not the colour of their skin. If Nigerian men behaved appriopriately I would be their biggest fans but sadly they don't. By challenging the groping, sexually harassing nature of Nigerian men, I am re-educating Nigerian men as to the error of their ways and doing a service towards women who have had enough of it. From my Christian point of view - that is a very good thing! |
D sense you seem to have a very angry bad temper. I suspect you are the kind that, if you ever made it into UK, you would probably be locked up in police custody within a few weeks of your arrival You seem to be the most angry with my posts/observations - probably because you know that it aptly describes you. The truth is such a bitter, bitter pill |
D-sense:Prepare your stuffs? Say Goodbye to her loved ones? Be very careful before you decide to do battle with the Children of CHRIST because the consequences can be FATAL - FOR YOU!!! This is another reason why Nigeria remains cursed - as long as you people carrying on with your juju and voodoo - you will remain cursed and receive no blessings from God. Read what the HOLY BIBLE has to say about your "stuffs" and juju And we wonder why Nigeria is cursed and going nowhere. ![]() |
steeze:And this in a nutshell is why I don't talk to Nigerian raised men anymore. Whenever you talk to them or are friendly with them they see it as a come on How did I lead him on by being a friendly and supportive colleague to him? This is why I now blank Nigerian raised men in our office block - because I know that if I even answer the greeting and say "Good morning, how do you do?" he will say you lead him on. Typical mentality of the Nigerian raised Male - if a nurse reads his temperature, he will grab her nyash and say she led him on THERE IS NO OTHER ALTERNATIVE BUT TO JUST BLANK NIGERIAN RAISED MEN COMPLETELY!!! |
If Nigerian males are no better, no worse than the rest of the world. Then answer this question for me: WHY IS YOUR REPUTATION SO BAD ? |
All the abuse on this page just goes to proove what the psyche of the typical Nigerian grown male is really like - and his total lack of respect for women and insensitivity. The abusers have just helped to proove my point And Nigeria will continue to have a bad, bad reputation - if you don't like it, THEN CHANGE!!!! |
tunnytox:Yes, I quite agree. That's why I stopped mixing with rif raff (Nigerian raised men) |
Amadioha is a load of rubbish. It doesn't exist. I believe in JESUS CHRIST so spare me your pagan nonsense |
British prisons are very full. Of Nigerian inmates. ![]() |
NubianQ:NubianQ, You sound like a fair minded lady. I'm sorry if Nigerians are fed up of being classed as unruly - but the truth of the matter is a lot of the men are! If they don't like the reputation, then they know what they have to do. Change! |
. . . . .No way she;s finished today . . .The next thing for her is to say good bye to her beloved ones . . . .Cause by the time i prepare my stuffs . . , She ll know what she's just gotten herself into.
