Stolen:IBETO Cement should also consider investing in other African countries in order to expand outside Nigeria. |
BuddahMonk:I hope he is able to have a factory to convert limestone into portland cement in Nigeria to sustain his well known brand "IBETO Cement" For IBETO Cement to completely disappear and lose the entire eastern market to DANGOTE cement is really a painful scenario. |
investnow2013:I feel bad for Chief Cletus Ibeto that was not able to finalize the Nkalagu cement factory deal and start rolling out finished portland cement from that factory before the importation of cement was recently BANNED by Buhari. But at least, Ibeto will not be poor overnight because he already had other factories making auto-products which are useful to the economy of the country. Ifeanyi Ubah is enjoying borrowed time as a rich man unless he acts immediately to diversify now. |
investnow2013:Ifeanyi Uba will do himself a lot of favour by diversifying his business NOW! He should invest in real estate in Onitsha, 3-5 star hotels, office buildings or whatever he can do right now. Or he would wake up someday to find he can't even pay for fuel into his car if he continues to believe refined petroleum products importation is a real business. Nigeria one of the biggest oil producing countries in the world to be importing refined petroleum products is an aberration and legacy of military rule, which will soon be corrected. One hopes Ifeanyi understands this fact and act fast before it is too late. Like Coscharis that has diversified into farms. Ifeanyi Ubah should build agro based factories to process everyday goods and foodstuff. If he continues to hope on fuel importation as his mainstay, he is in for a huge surprise soon.

....and what does Sahara reports parallel? Nazi Germany anti-semitic propaganda outsfit. |
shineeye:Obiano is God sent. PERIOD |
Buhari just called Saraki a liar publicly! This insult is uncalled for. |
spyder880:Great news! It will be wonderful to open up new roads into more vast areas of land at Emene, for more planned housing projects and industrial estates to take off in that axis of the city. |
BuddahMonk:Nwanne, Biko hapu ndi mmanu. Ihe obula ha kwuru ebe a, gba ha nkiti ![]() Ike ga agwu ekwensu eventually. |
ObinnaIzuora: ![]() Got him! Anoda shofisticated basterd breaks cover ![]() |
ObinnaIzuora: ![]() Anoda fake yoruba too ashamed to answer Babatunde or oluwafemi, instead will call himself Obinna Izuora .We know Yorubas because of their trade mark attitude towards Igbo 1. To always knowing it all to "advise" Igbos about what is good for Igbos and what is not. 2. Claim to be from other tribes to give the impression that Igbo is hated by all tribes in Nigeria. You cannot fool folks like me with those cheap tricks. Ndi ala! |
BuddahMonk:Actually, that girl is yoruba. That is their typical stock in trade to claim to be akwa-ibom or another tribe to deflect attention to the fact they are yoruba. |
QueenAngela:Hajia, Take your advise to your Boko Haram brothers that will burn down the entire northeast region just to make Nigeria ungovernable for GEJ , a christian President. Igbo people will never burn down Yoruba or Hausa properties in the east for no provocation, let alone burning churches because their head reverend or pastor is Yoruba. You are deliberately talking off point by over flogging a figment of your imagination that has never happened in over 1000 years of Igbo history. |
chinolization:Chino, What you are doing in this thread is shameful and unpardonable. You must stop this shameful act of madness here. You know you aren't serving anyone's interest with this behavior. |
Kagame:Yes, I have been pro-Biafra from the day i saw at FGC Odogbolu that all the northern students got bursary and southerners didn't. Or that the federal character made me disqualified for a job because i was Igbo, while someone with less education and grades was selected because he wasn't Igbo. Such arrangement is untenable in a country that wants unity.I just abhor the shedding of blood for the Biafran cause. My only differences with other pro-Biafra guys like Massob is that i am purely for adopting the Mandela led ANC method or the Martin Luther King led civil rights crusade method. - PEACEFUL CIVIL PROTESTS AND MARCHING PROCESSIONS |
OdenigboAroli:Ife i kwulu bu eziokwu. Achorom k'anyi noro na Naijeria ma oburu na ha ga ekwe ka anyi dozie obodo anyi ofuma. Mana i ma na federal structure choro ka ha si na abuja na achi obodo nile. Ihe a mere m ji choo ka anyi nwere onwe anyi, nwere obodo nke anyi. |
Kagame:Funny enough, i have NEVER listened to radio Biafra. Whether you kill Nnamdi Kanu or arrest all Massob people, you cannot kill Biafra unless you stop the marginalization of Igbos and Igboland in Nigeria. martin Luther King's murder did not stop the civil rights protests until blacks were given their rights as citizens. Jailing Mandela for life did not stop the anti-apartheid struggle until the blacks were given their rights to vote. Likewise the Biafra question will only be solved by stopping all state backed marginalization of Ndigbo in Nigeria. |
QueenAngela:I typically only respond to those that state facts because i don't have time for beer parlour discussion of falshoods. I have NEVER advocated for burning churches or even mosques in Igboland. I have and will ALWAYS support a reprisal attack on any tribe that kills innocent Igbo people resident in the area. You know you cannot see anywhere i have said anything other than what i have just repeated. I respect Kanu for the courage to speak the truth. He has not influenced anyone here. I suspect you are Yoruba based on your typical misconceptions that Igbos have no mind of their own and can be swayed in any direction based on what your newspapers or online e-warriors write. How wrong you are! As for Biafra, we must adopt the method which the African Americans and the South Africans used to achieved their struggle- PEACEFUL PROTESTS. Just like the protest yesterday about Boko Haram coming to our prisons, we should have a habit of coming out to protest. We should watch out for agberos the Nigerian government will send to make the protest violent so that they can shoot innocent folks. But we should keep protesting peacefully nonetheless and invite international press to hear our voice. |
For those writing crap in order to get me to respond to their crap, you are wasting your time.I would rather spend my time responding to the jabs against Igbos in those anti-Biafra threads than waste my time fighting my brothers here.It is counterproductive and i will not engage in it. Many of the old members of this forum know that although i was born and bred in Enugu/Onitsha and lived there at various times, my parents are from Anioma side of Igboland. So i have NEVER discriminated against any section of Igboland. Yes, i am Pro-Biafra because I have come to the sad truth that Nigeria will never allow Igbos to live and achieve their potential without trying to throw obstacles in her way. By the Grace of God, we have been resilient and overcome most of their obstacles Nigeria threw at us, but it does not mean we should continue to live under such siege and tolerate being treated as non-citizens in a country we contributed more than everyone else in her struggle for independence and greatness. Those that attack my person are mistaken if they believe that will stop me from pointing out those of us that have a warped mentality of "I am not tribalistic, but Cjrane is the tribalistic one" In Nigeria, the northern governors have always been the most corrupt followed by the SW governors. The problem with the SE is that the resources given to the zone is too meagre that once a useless governor is on the saddle, it doesn't take much for the whole place to fall apart. Secondly, the FG including under GEJ lavishly execute projects in the north than East, so even when northern governors are useless, the federal projects in those states make it look like there is still some development going on, unlike in the SE where every development project rests squarely on the governors. Therefore, the issues isn't just about getting good governors to manage our resources, the FG must get into the habit of building tangible federal projects in the SE and treat that zone as a bonafide part of Nigeria. Igbo Marginalization is real and predates our politicians That Hausa/fulani and their yoruba collaborators have a wicked agenda against Ndigbo in Nigeria is a documented fact known to even Ghanaians and Cameroonians, whether you deny it or not and call me a tribalist for voicing a blatant fact is immaterial. Someone asked why we didn't have international airport in SE until yesterday,Why did Nigeria refuse to build Onitsha and Imo airports for lack of funds, but turned around to build Markurdi, Yola and Bauchi airports, and even built new ones in Kaduna and Jos which already had airports? Why don't we didn't have the same number of states as other regions of the country, why we have the least representation in the civil service,Police, armed forces, ambassadors? Why the SE population is the only place that has not grown as much as other regions since 1959 census, while other places in Nigeria have already doubled their population more than twice. Is it that only other zones of the country have had children surviving more and all SE men are impotent? Someone asked why Ndoni was included in Rivers state simply because it had oil and excluded from their kith and kin in Imo state. Why is the FG spending billions of money to search for oil in the north, but have refused to spend a fraction of that to resuscitate the Enugu coal coporation that they destroyed in the civil war? All these important questions and many more which these folks will rather skip playing ostrich are still begging for answers nonetheless. If you look at the issue of Igbo marginalization inside Nigeria, it predates our present crop of politicians, which should prove to you that attitude of deep seated hatred against Ndigbo in Nigeria has nothing to do with our present SE governors or politicians as some will have us believe. The Divide & Rule tactics: Like how the Yorubas/Hausa distract the Niger Deltans from facing the cheating they are subjected in Nigeria by telling them false histories of how Igbos enslaved them. Some people have perfected the art of how to distract us from facing the real burning issues by playing the card of telling us Anambras feel superior and all that nonsense. My two sisters are married to Anambra people. I have condemned Chino's actions without reservation just as cannot stand the man Abagworo who is even worse than Chino in his thinly disguised Igbo hatred. We cannot therefore use these wayward children of Anambra and Imo to judge the illustrious citizens of those states. Some of you that know history will remember that when Murtala Mohammed created Anambra and Imo states, our people wept bitterly because they knew the balkanization of the former East Central state into Anambra and Imo states by the victorious Nigerian army leadership was to break us down and remove any hope of mounting a united resistance against injustices meted on us in Nigeria. It is shocking that today, we accept these artificial boundaries and even dare to say we are different based on these boundaries! When it come to Biafra, those of us calling me tribalist are truly mistaken. I found this post from Oremi22 responding to those who called Igbos dirty names simply for seeking self determination in Biafra highly insightful. She made it clear that for the oil wealth they were stealing from these places, their venomous hatred for Ndigbo would have driven them to pull out of Nigeria long ago. Those are undiluted facts and those are where i expect our attention to be focussed, not calling ourselves names while we are still in slavery. OREMI22: When it comes to BIAFRA, the Yorubas and Hausa/Fulanis are the WORST hypocrites. |
AnambraDota:Nne God bless you. Truth is that some of these folks aren't Igbo, but they come here to spy on us. When i read that 'victim mentality' from that guy, i knew i should be wary of him. Even Cameroonians in Nigeria know the Hausa and Yoruba people have a deliberate policy to use their dominance of the Federal government to deny Igbo areas of Nigeria federal presence and the highest offices in Nigeria. So for a supposed Igboman to claim to be unaware of that, exposes his intent of plain mischief. We should know that some people we call Igbo may not share your cause because they view themselves as being born elsewhere. Where you are born is really a powerful thing. It is not specific to Igbos. I know a Yoruba guy "Segun" whose father worked with Nitel in Enugu, and we went to the same elementary school there. He speaks excellent Igbo very well and identified with every Igbo cause, even though his parents were yoruba and couldn't speak Igbo. I think he lives abroad now. So , such a person may have yoruba parents and yoruba name, but he is truly Igbo at his core. So we should expect some of our folks with Igbo names may not share your experience nor aspiration. |
Maser:Crap! I usually revere your posts, but you missed the entire point in this one and got this flat wrong. As important as having good politicians, good citizens can be in the life of a nation, the issue here is the structure, new policies designed to specifically to strangulate Ndigbo in Nigeria. We may have bad and inept politicians, but that is not the reason why the Hausa and Yoruba are conniving to destroy Ndigbo. Infact, they celebrate and promote our inept politicians as their partners in crime. The issue is how to address the gang up to destroy Ndigbo and not to distract us by counting how many kidnappers , inept politicians or armed robbers we have in SE. Like every society, there are good and bad people and we are not different. But,whether the politicians in any society are deft or daft, can not justify their deliberate systematic oppression and destruction economically. That is what the issue is. |
IGBOSON1:Absolutely 100% perfect post! I also don't have any qualms being in Nigeria as long as it is a just and equitable country, and not an opportunity for some hateful basterds to reduce me into a 3rd class citizen. You are right, they are seriously plotting how to shut down Enugu International airport under the smokescreen of "International access into Enugu kills Nigerian aviation industry" So they want to demand that any airline that flies into Enugu, must be denied their other lucrative routes in Nigeria. Such behavior is what fuels the anti- Nigeria feeling. Afterall, Cameroon airport may not be as busy as Lagos, but their people should not be forced to land in Lagos just because Lagos is a more lucrative route. It is clear that the agenda right now is to emasculate the industries operation in the SE by making unfavorable laws, remove any international access into the zone and deny it of any useful federal presence. What more do you want to see before you know they have declared a war on you? |
uduokirika1:. What you have said is true. The biggest problem with Onitsha nay Anambra is lack of planning using satellite imagery. Onitsha and Nlpor layout is like a right angle triangle where the center is choked up and congested while the outside part is sparsely populated. If atani road were linked to Onitsha - Owerri road at the Obosi flyover, it will open up another ample stretch of land that will take decades to develop. But nobody even knows not thinks about that because they have never viewed the map of Anbra state from the satellite of google earth. |
akanuson:Yes. I will still commend Sullivan for planting some on some new roads at independence layout. But it is grossly insufficient to plant in one or two major streets . We need someone that understands the magical effect of trees on the health of the citizens and aesthetic appeal of the city to embark on a true city wide tree planting campaign on every major road or minor streets. Even the flowers and trees in the parking lot of Shoprite render has been quietly abandoned. Imagine if the parking lot of the mall looks like a conducive park if we planted all those trees designed to be there. Imagine for instance how magically transformed Chime avenue will look if we massively lined the median with palm or pine trees. It will look exactly with great tropical paradises in Bahamas. |
1: When it comes to BIAFRA, the Yorubas and Hausa/Fulanis are the WORST hypocrites. |
Wetin concern me if they take all the positions? Are they not Nigerians like everyone else? One shofisticated zone that have unfairly dominated our oil industry are already afraid of the imminent rebalancing to give it a national outlook, and have started using faceless writers to try and create sentiment. Please tribalistic op, take down this nonsense post. |
I was informed by a close friend working at NCAA that top Yorubas at NAMA and NCAA have hatched a plan to force Buhari to close the Enugu airport from International traffic. They have already frustrated any airlines willing to fly into Enugu and have since stopped funding the new terminal building. I just thought i should make this plot open so that we can devise how to start street protests and other ways of responding to this when the time finally comes. |
See foool explaining why they fought as if we expected better from them. We know u guys are there to fill ur pockets , so fight, steal Nigeria's wealth and go enjoy with prostitutes. Hopefully una go get AIDS one of these days and quench like Abacha. |
