Northerners were see doing their thing without fear of intimidation. They feel so much at home. Most of them I spoke to even speaks Anambra very fluently..
I'm happy Hausa northerners are well treated in Anambra.

They should also tell their Boko brothers and Buhari to reciprocate and leave our people in the north in peace
PoliticsRe: Drivers Refuses To Take President GEJ's Campaign Vehicles From Kaduna To Kano by cjrane: 5:35pm On Dec 31, 2014
Buhari will still lose because he is unelectable.
However, The most painful part is that the north took the LION share of Pres. GEJ projects. All the railway lines, the expressways, the bridges, new farms, Zungeru and Mambilla mega dams and countless positions in government.

It still has not made them want to rule. Because they are the ones born to rule Nigeria alone.
GEJ should ponder hard if pleasing one section of the country with the lion share of everything the FG has to offer changes anything?
They will simply act based on tribalism, the way they are programmed to act.

PoliticsRe: NIGERIA Told To KEEP Quite At Last Minute At The Security Council by cjrane: 5:12pm On Dec 31, 2014
yuio33:
NIGERIA Told To KEEP Quite at Last Minute at the Security Council this evening by NigeriaNearby: 1:01am
While France, Russia, China and many others voted in favour of a Palestinian State and end to Israeli's occupation at the security council this evening, Nigeria was nudged by USA to change its position at the last minute.

Only USA and that doomed Australia voted NO.

The resolution needed 9 YES votes, it received 8, and it was Nigeria turn to vote YES as everyone and the world was watching, Nigeria just stood silence, indicating that they will not say YES, or NO.

That was it, the RESOLUTION that was calling for Israeli's end of occupation and a Palestinian State was eaten by Nigeria(who indicated that they support the Palestinian cause before and would vote in favour!!).

What would France gain from Palestinian State or to get their freedom, nothing, and they VOTED big YES.

China, Russia and many others in South America voted YES

Nigeria, keep your word and get some guts next time.

Nigerians are known to be brave and strong people, but the people and that stooge we have at the Security Council is a total waste and empty.

Nigeria JUST killed the Palestinian DREAM, and it is very series, they will suffer many and many more years to come because of Nigeria.
Bro,
So you registered in NL just to come and insult us about UN vote?

When will UN vote to send peace keeping troops to help rid Nigeria of Boko Haram?

Yes, we do support Palestinian state if that will bring peace there. Nigeria has offered Palestinians residency in the choiciest part of Abuja and Lagos. Even subsidize their children's education. But, if we feel voting in either direction will affect Nigeria's interest, we shall protect our own interest first! Saudis just blocked their airspace to Nigerian planes, so that Boko Haram will overrun our northern states. With friends like these, who needs an enemy?

Thank you, but how possible is it to actively overhaul all villages, expanse of land covering several square miles to be rehabilitated at once? Well, let us for one minute consider the possibilities, how can we move millions of people from their ancestral homes to a foreign city where the culture or habit is completely different from what they have been used to from birth?

I think such changes are too radical and may achieve the wrong results.

The vegetation of an entire town should be changedhuh Kill all snakeshuh Did you study Geography at all?? Have you ever heard: 'protecting animals on the verge of extinction' huh My dear, No matter how much we crave for beauty, our ecosystem cannot be jeopardised.

It's possible to plan and beauty every town, that should be the aim, everyone mustn't move to the main city. Facilities in the city can't even withstand such population...well, I guess you really don't understand what you just posted.
He is the product of copying oyibo people blindly.
Nigerians visit abroad the first time and they think the white-man just built his country yesterday and therefore want the entire Nigeria demolished and built up immediately within one week! grin

The white-men had villages worse than our own now. In the 1600-1800, their villages were godforsaken places. As they continued to develop and get richer, they improved infrastructure, got telephones and hospitals and did landscaping with trees to make villages become suburbs of cities. The dude obviously didn't know that history.

This might sound stupid but I think this guy is making a lot of sense. If our villages are so wonderful, why don't we live in them. I want our villages to be completely overhauled. Modern agriculture should be adopted to create jobs. Americans, Brits and every developed world live in their villages, but we abandon ours to abroad and return there seasonably. It is a clear evidence that our system is not working and should be changed. If I have my way, all our villages should be fumigated against deadly reptiles like snakes and scorpions and then I will introduce, harmless animals like antelopes to move freely in our grasslands. That was what the whiteman did to make their land look like paradise. Our villages should be made economically viable instead of leaving it in it's pristine cosmetic state. I thank God, people are thinking.
I don't think the guy was making any sense suggesting the demolition of villages.
It is like saying bleach everyone's skin so that we all look white and you will stop racism.

Sometimes children should be ignored.A good 40-50% of Nigerians still live in the rural areas. Most of the retired teachers that taught you in primary and secondary schools have left Enugu and returned to their country homes in order not to pay rent in the city, when they have no job there.

Our cities are already crowded due to years of neglect, if you demolish the villages, where will you put the sudden 40-50% jump in the city's population? He would soon advise that we should create firing squad parties of soldiers to execute all of them so that they won't go and crowd the cities further.

What we need is more infrastructure, roads, electricity, small scale industries in the villages to help people live there comfortably. That is why i am frustrated that the new Enugu-PH train isn't stopping at the various rural stations. If they did, people can stay in their villages and smoke fish, plant yams, cocoyam, vegetables, cashews and then put them on a train and supply PH and Enugu, without needing to live there and ride okada or become an agbero or even an armed robber just to have a job in the city.

They said they will only be stopping at 5 stations for now..Ogui,Ovim(isikwuato),Omoba(Ariria-Aba),Imo River and Station (PH)
Nigeria and doing things haphazardly. I totally understand the need to start with a few stations for now. But, instead of having just one coach, they should have 2. One will be the express train going from Enugu-PH non-stop, while the other will stop at every train station. Stopping at every train stain helps build up loyal clientele and will help evacuate agricultural produce, which boosts the local economy.

Anyhow, i still thank God that they have finally started plying the route again. They should make the train line dual carriage, so that trains can move in both directions at the same time. Instead of waiting for days just for one train to reach PH and return before boarding a second trip from Enugu-PH.

Anambra is the SE biggest economy. Whatever you feel cannot change that fact which even the World Bank is aware of..
Please leave the Oru guy.

My maths teacher in primary school at Fegge was from Oru East. He was so much like an Anambra man. Looking back now, i have realized that almost 90% of the elementary school teachers in Fegge public schools then were from Imo state! Most of them were from towns like, Akokwa, Urualla, Mgbidi,Awommama and Orlu which are all in today's Imo state !!!
Most of them are now retired and receiving pensions in Onitsha from Anambra state government. I thank God for those teachers in molding our character. I have a classmate who is working with NASA in New Orleans, USA and he still talks about Mr. Aginam and the other great teachers that flogged the sense into us.

Imagine if Anambra state had sacked these illustrious Igbo people under the guise of being from Imo state? It would have been an unimaginable disaster. Ikengawo and other silly eediots have said if Ojukwu were from Imo state, Biafra would have won? Now, in 1966, there was nothing like Imo or Anambra state. Infact, Ojukwu used cities in Abia (Umuahia) and Imo(Owerri) as defacto capital of Biafra. Why didn't he use Ihiala,Uli,Nnewi or Ekwulobia, since he is such Anambra bigot according to Ikengawo? Ojukwu had severally referred to Aba as the commercial capital of Igboland. Indeed had Biafra survived, he would have spent massive state funds to build it up into the technological innovation capital of Africa. Why would Ojukwu root for Aba instead of his native Nnewi if he was an Anambra bigot according to Ikengawo? Some of these children should be ignored, so that they don't make us mis-speak.

Crap,
I really don't understand you. You had severally posted that Osun,Katsina or Bayelsa states did not have a greater GDP than your native Imo state because they had less economic activities but higher federal allocation. You argued that, if GDP were measured by FG allocations, of course Jigawa, Bayelsa would appear to have bigger GDP than Imo as it exactly shows in Nigeria's statistics.

This proves to me that you are not a street vendor because you actually knew why Jigawa and Katsina appeared to have bigger GDP than your Imo state. Why can't you apply the same yardstick in comparing Anambra with greater economic activities but which receives a tiny federal allocation when compared to the oil producing Imo state?

[size=15pt]I completely believe this story is untrue and designed to leak Nigeria's source of arms procurement for it's military.

However, "If" Saudis refuse access over their airspace, they can always break the trip.

Fly from Pakistan to Dubai.
Then from Dubai, fly over the Indian ocean to avoid Saudi Arabia and then land at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Then from Addis Ababa to Abuja, Nigeria.

Then quietly deny Saudi Arabian airlines landing rights in Nigeria.
