One thing i plead with construction companies working in Anambra is to use great looking long street light poles. Sometimes using short appearing street light poles makes their superb job appear somehow. Calabar seem to be one Nigerian city that insist on using great looking long street light poles...and it makes their roads look really wonderful.

FreeGlobe:I will give you an example from one of the greatest Hip hop legends Ice cube who said so much about his death certificate album and especially his favorite track "I wanna kill sam" that almost flopped. Compared to "Today was a good day" And true to what he said, if you listen, I wanna kill sam which has packed message about the black American situation and treatment which was very important to him, but who cared to listen to the hardcore without much melodious chorus unlike today was a good day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TeTowu5gCg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RySHMuLN4Jg |
FreeGlobe:I like Phyno's tracks a lot. But he is going more and more into hardcore rap. Which will make it hard for him to keep a large fan base regardless of the language of your rap song. People have suggested him to break his songs into 2 or 3 stanzas so that a melodious chorus can be part of his song. If you compare his song "Man of the Year" in which he rapped from the beginning to the end, without any chorus to "O'set", "Nme nme" or "Authe", in which Flavour sang the chorus, you will see such songs with a chorus is more appealing. Even legendary artists like 50 Cents or notorious BIG, TuPac inter-phase their tracks with a catchy chorus which people can follow. Until date, i have never learnt nor bothered to know what Puff Daddy was saying in the track "I'll be missing you" but i always follow the chorus with Faith Evans "every step i take........ Which is actually what many fans can sing along with. Likewise, who cares whatever 50 cents was saying in his song P.I.M.P, but i can sing the chorus "i don't know what you heard about me, but you can't get a dollar outta me...... As a matter of fact, 50 cents started that P.I.M.P tract with the catch chorus part!! See the video for what i mean. It's actually a skill to give your fans a great chorus to sing along with and relate to the music. I hope Phyno makes that change to incorporate more choruses into his songs, hardcore rap may carry more message, but who's going to listen without a melodious chorus? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDApZhXTpH8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mM0-ZU8njdo |
tandj:The gossip i heard was that late M.C Loph wanted to groom a generation of musicians that would sing proudly in Igbo language just as Nigga Raw. Phyno and Flavour were his earliest converts. But more importantly, he wanted successful artists to help aspiring artists to help the young ones become successful too. So sad that great minds like M.C Loph die young. RIP to MC Loph, The Great! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmtllahAWAg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zw5O_CKZ1qM

tandj:It is an annual show every December featuring local artists to help them perform side by side with other big name artists that made it. Flavour is a major facilitator of the show. This is the 5th year in a row of that show. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DidnYGqM-1c https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5y7s_E4J6tU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsrX1hBXjyg

Schematics:Okay bro, I don want anyone else to come here and post any link where you pulled the pictures oo! Okay, I bilivit! I biliv you! |
iconize:Chino, why are you lying to me that you took those pics? It had been obvious to even passersby that you did not live anywhere close to Anambra. It was obvious you were posting pictures from peoples blogs and facebook pictures from Anambra square to the audience here. Mind you, we have access to just all those sites too. Why did you have to lie ? Anyhow, I was also at Phyno's show. See my "busted" picture effidence! I was sitting next to Oseloka Obaze's wife! ![]() He was singing Nme nme when i was spraying him dollars! ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivQrBYifk7k

celeron40:i don't expect you to see it, nor how this insecurity can be widened by giving Buhari the power to implement his jaundiced fanatical agenda for Nigeria. Nigerians typically see everything via a prism of tribalism, until they enter their grave. Goodluck to you. As for me, i shall make sure reasonable Nigerians know about this dangerous combination being cooked around the security of our dear country.
|
Shekau and Buhari are security threats to Nigeria's corporate existence. Those are the facts.
|
celeron40:I don't even particularly care for Jonathan. But at least he is not a terrorist like Buhari.Nor plotting to kill fellow citizens if he lost. If we had more choices in this election, i would perhaps vote for the 3rd option. What we have is classically a choice between the Devil himself or the deep blue sea. Buhari is a terrorist and will lead Nigeria into a civil war in his silly belief that one religion is superior to the other. Thus, Buhari is a security issue of the highest national importance. You can very well vote Shekau for President and pretend he would not start a civil war in his primitive belief that Nigeria should have one religion.Shekau and Buhari are security issues nothing political here. |
Schematics:Okay oo! Carry on Sir! No shaking! Please make out time to visit greenwood estate as you promised. Daalu rinne! |
celeron40:This isn't political, this is a real security threat. If we can post the picture of a fellow terrorist like Shekau here and it is security not political, Buhari's utterances border on national security. A former Major general has promised to kill fellow Nigerian citizens if he lost an election. Yet, block head like you will find it funny!

Umunnem, Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New year for our dear Enugu state! |
Nigeria cannot be surrendered to an Terrorist. ISIS is more tolerant than Buhari. Be not deceived!
|
Schematics:Im sorry if you really took them. What about greenwood estate coverage kwanu? That is what led me to believe you are not in Anambra. To continue promising and failing. ![]() |
OdenigboAroli:Peter Obi indeed deserves commendation for laying the foundation of what we see today. Schemetics has better camera, but you should know these are facebook extracted shots of his friends. Schema isn't 1,000 miles close to Anambra. But he communicates with someone important to supply him pics ![]() Merry Christmas Oga schema and omalicha umu omambala oo! I sincerely appreciate your effort, so keep it coming biko. Next year will be great for us. We finally have a visionary leader with modern great ideas for Anambra Please inform your brothers living in the northern Nigeria to keep their families until after February elections! |
Nigeria on the brink again.
