When will Nigerians understand that education doesn't equal success...its meant to enrich your knowledge in your various disciplines therefore its a direction path ( lead way) and not the end result.

How coronavirus compares to history's deadliest pandemics: Visual timeline pits COVID-19 against Black Death, smallpox and AIDS - as experts warn current crisis could rival Spanish flu 'in its lethality and scale'
Visual timeline: How coronavirus compares to history's most deadly pandemics

It shows the bubonic plague, also known as the Black Death, was the most lethal of all diseases, killing roughly 200million people in the 14th century. Smallpox, the second deadliest pandemic in history, claimed the lives of 56million people over more than 400 years before it was finally eradicated in 1980. By comparison, COVID-19 has so far killed 7,000 people and infected more than 180,000 since December. But it is still in its early stages. Scientists say the 'scale' and 'lethality' of the virus is on the scale of the H1N1 influenza strain that sparked the Spanish flu pandemic over 100 years ago. The 1918 outbreak killed off almost 50million people in just one year after racing around the globe and infecting a quarter of the world's population.

The true scale of the coronavirus outbreak currently sweeping the world has been laid bare in a visual timeline comparing it to history's most deadly pandemics. It shows the bubonic plague, also known as the Black Death, was the most lethal of all diseases, killing roughly 200million people in the 14th century

FamilyRe: My Husband Doesn’t Want My Son To Come And Stay With Us by Cleanworld(f): 12:58pm On Mar 13, 2020
Vyvyanvyvy:
I had 2 children. When I got married, my husband had none and accepted them like his own children.

Before marriage, we had discussed about the children living with us after marriage but that couldn’t be possible anymore because we were having financial problem so we couldn’t afford to move to a bigger apartment. We were staying in a room self contain with my daughter while my son was staying with my elder brother and his wife.

Now three years after we had moved to a bigger house still my husband doesn’t want my son to come and live with us. At the moment my son is going through hard times. My sister in law has been maltreating him to an extent that he has been stealing, he was caught and beaten like an animal. My brother said he doesn’t want him in his house again. He wants me to come and collect him.

I pleaded with my husband for me to bring him with us but he said no, he should stay there because he doesn't want him to damage our children. I’m angry at him I stopped talking to him and I don’t know where my son will go because I have no mother no father it’s only my elder brother and kid sister even my sister who is married doesn’t want him. I’m pained and in tears seeing my only son suffering while I’m still alive and I’m helpless to protect him.
I have a small advise for you ma.

it very obvious that you don't have people in your life to help you at this critical time but there's always a solution to every problem. for the sake of that boy's future kindly look for a boarding school that's in your area and enroll him there. make sure you go and visit him every weekend and as often as you can.
sit him down and talk to him as a good mother should...let him understand the situation is in and also remind him that God will that control. let him know that there are a lot of orphans that prosper and succeed in life and he can too ...if he set his mind to it.
please encourage him and give me all necessarily things to make life easier for him.

when life give us lemon make lemonade out of it. forgive your brother and husband. move on with your life and have your kids interest at heart before anything.

its time for your husband to bear his own name by catering for you and his household while you take care of your first two kids.

may God help u.

Nigeria medical personnel's are doing great jobs containing this non ordinary flu which all can attest to the way they handled Ebola. There's enough awareness of the pandemic and even a baby will tell you how to prevent it. this is a flu that stays 3 hours in the air and can last up to 3 days on the surface.
if Nigeria the right equipment's in their various hospitals ans wards. We will beat any health care in the world. please stop blaming when you haven't treat headache before. push your anger to the Nigeria government and let them do the needful. we have capable people on ground with nothing for them to fall on. please always think outside the box.

Many nincompoop will like your comment has you have the same perspective.

What do you mean by that? Don't you know that life beginnings at 40? In other part of the world where life span goes up to 80's to 100's ...40 something is relatively young ..its a stage in life where you make all wrong right. a stage where you know your real self and know whats it means to be alive.
its hardship, stress, lack of hope and ignorance that makes people look old and haggard at age 40yrs.

where there's good health, security and prosperity and respect for the elderly ,you will only blossom with age.

Enjoy your day

Good evening guys, i just want to know which city between Lagos and Abuja is more advisable for relocation.

Now my number one criterial is safety, a residence that is crime free.

I need a location where i know that no matter the political situation of the country, i am 100% save. The Budget is not a problem at all.

All I'm after is safety between Lagos island, lekki and environs and the main Abuja city.
Which is the best for relocation most especially safety from crime.

A city that will give me the modern city feel, security, infrastructure and access to international connect. Like a powerful neighborhood.

Cc justwise lalasticlala mynd44
if you are single Lagos is the place to be but if not Abuja has serene environment for family
CrimeRe: Food Vendor 'Mama Aroma' Burnt To Death In Delta For Cooking With Mortuary Water by Cleanworld(f):

Nigeria is a dangerous place to live in. People just gossip and carry false malicious rumours. That's how they gossip in my street that I'm an internet fraudster, simply because I work from home with laptop and internet connection — in a digitalized 21st century gig economy. None of them could even approach me to ask me what I do for living. Just walking around and gossiping.

The way Nigerians think is horrible.
i can relate with your story.

I remember some few years ago when i started online business working from home, there's nothing my neighbor didn't say and they called me all sorts of unprinted names and then God blessings kept pouring in left and right. in any giving opportunity i will try and explained to them how i run my online business but i noticed that they already have their 'mind set' about my business so i stopped explaining myself to them.

They just couldn't figured out how one can stay at home and work. working to them means 9-5pm jobs regardless if you are getting paid or not.

Either they gossip me to my face or not alerts was coming left and right

Must nights i will stay up late till in the mornings and as early as 5:30am i will be at the courier office to send goods to clients but yet they don't know what it take to be an entrepreneur.

the only thing they can do best is to sit down and gossip 24/7 repeat same thing over and over again

but today i thank God for that experience and knowing that hatred is rooted in the cores of Nigerians

May God help us all
