TravelRe: Why Nigerians Abroad Should Stop Listening To Phrankleen by Cleanworld(f): 8:54pm On Dec 07, 2020
sweetmelanin:
For those who don't know Phrankleen, he is practically the only visible person on YouTube who has a platform for discussing diaspora issues. However, he is extremely biased and highly irresponsible with the kind of information he puts out there and is deceiving thousands of gullible folks abroad.

These are my top 5 Reasons why Nigerians and other Africans should be careful with this guy:

1. Hypocrisy
When it comes to the issue of "Moving back to Africa" Phrankleen is the BIGGEST hypocrite of them all. There are numerous videos on his channel where Phrankleen can be seen talking about how blacks are 'second class citizens' in the West and how we should move back to "live like kings" in our motherland.
Yes its true that we aren't exactly first class citizens abroad, however, Phrankleen will not tell you that the average Nigerian is NOT a first class citizen in their own country either! A country where there are very little career prospects for the youth, where everyone is forced to become an 'entrepreneur' doing petty trade for a living like small chops, hair, makeup, barbing, poultry etc.., a country where you gotta know someone who knows someone before you can get anywhere, a country that treats Lebanese, Chinese and Indians more favourably over it's own citizens, a country where a rich man can use the police to oppress you, where law enforcement harass, extort and assault you. No, Phrankleen will never discuss these issues because it will totally flaw the ridiculous "African Utopia" agenda that he so desperately pushes.
A major red flag his followers fail to ask themselves is: why is Phrankleen sitting pretty in the UK and asking YOU to relocate? Why hasn't he relocated himself since Nigeria is such a paradise?
The irony is that once the whole #EndSars debacle gained traction, Phrankleen found himself having to fess up to how jacked up Nigeria truly is.. however he wasn't gonna go down without a fight.. he still found a way to somehow reinforce his hypocrisy by doing what he does best which is to attribute ALL of Africa's problems to the West. Hence my second point...

2. Blaming 'the West' for Everything - Lack of Accountability
Phrankleen loves to put out the message that Africa is in the state it is in because 'the West' have intentionally crippled the economy in order to drive us out of Africa so that they can takeover. Now while that might be partly true, common sense doesn't tell Phrankleen that the West has no power to do anything in Africa that our GREEDY LEADERS don't allow! A camp divided against itself will surely fall. Is the West responsible for the day to day violence, corruption and nepotism that we met out to each other on a daily basis in our own country?

Imagine, this same Phrankleen can be seen talking from two ends of his mouth in a recent video on the #EndSars saga where he urged Nigerians to appeal to 'the West' to intervene in Nigeria's matter! The same West that he preaches against and tells us they are solely responsible for the decay in Africa? lipsrsealed The saddest part in that video was when a viewer called to call him out on his hypocrisy, Phrankleen did what he does even better! he cut him off! Which leads me to my third point....

3. Extremely Rude & Childish Behaviour
Phrankleen has a habit of cutting people off during his live call in shows. He also deletes comments and blocks anyone who speaks up for the truth. Even those who simply state that Nigeria is not as perfect as he claims, he will quickly delete the comment before more people see it.. why? so that no one can spoil his ridiculous narrative. Phrankleen is also extremely rude and insulting towards anyone with a different opinion to his. Despite being in his late forties, he is a spineless coward who can't take any slight criticism and results to childish and feminine attics when he doesn't get his way.

4. A few of his "stories" are made up
Don't get me wrong, some of his stories you can tell are genuinely written by viewers... however, Phrankleen has at least 3 or 4 "storytime" videos which anyone with a discerning mind can tell are bogus, made up stories, concocted for the sole purpose of spreading his pathetic agenda. From his videos you can tell he is someone who has been dealt a bad hand in life - possibly looked down on by family members back home as he isn't doing so well for himself. Therefore, he has made it his full time job (via YouTube) to speak ill of family members of people abroad, how they are all scammers back home, how they judge you based on what you have achieved etc.. to the point of even concocting stories that make no sense just to vent out his inward vitriol.

5. He is bitter and spreads misinformation that could destroy the lives of gullible Nigerians.
Phrankleen lives in a council house of which he pays £400 a month (dude admitted this himself) - he is broke and YouTube is his bread and butter hence why he is selling lies and manipulation for profit. Phrankleen also has an ongoing case in court where he is claiming to be a victim of prejudice.... now anyone who has gone to court before will know it's a highly stressful procedure and can affect one's mental stability.
I write this piece really as a warning to gullible folks out there who may want to make life-altering decisions based on what this charlatan called Phrankleen tells you - do you really wanna take advise from a broke, bitter soul with a skewed perception of life? Don't let that British accent fool you, he is rotten to the core!

Bonus point: Phrankleen is covertly jealous of successful Nigerians abroad and often speaks ill of Business Analysts, Project Managers, IT contract workers etc... and criticising how they choose to spend their hard earned money!
Until Phrankleen comes back and stay in Nigeria that's when I will take him seriously.

What's is job in UK? Atleast his friend that's selling suya is not doing bad at all

Where's Phrankleen " Mama put shop" on YouTube?

Let him come back to Nigeria and survive on the fish poultry business is being bragging about

Let him come and continue his YouTube vlog with Nepa light.

For those that refuse to send money to your parents because Phrankleen say so..remember old age is knocking on your door.
Not all familirs are bad...bad economy and tough life make people behave badly.

Just think of how you were in Nigeria and how easy life is in abroad even though you work hard but efficienctly.

We can blame white to some extent about our predicament but 90% of Africa problem lies in within Africans.

Phrankleen come back to obodo Nigeria naw

Gwan2:
China...A model on how human population can be an asset.

Many people misconstrue the fact that China utilised her human resource for top notch feats and think Nigeria ought to be on the same frequency since it also has the population, although not as much as China. There is a big difference between educated population and non educated population. In terms of cost analysis, investors are more convince to invest in the former because the human cost of training the workforce to conform to the business model and societal ethic is way lesser than the latter.

The average educated Chinese wants to go back to China after acquiring knowledge or experience abroad because he feels more attached culturally and socially to China. The average educated Nigerian wants to leave the country to western world for greener pasture. Until this anomaly is rectified, Nigeria will continuously have an inept population and importation of basic things will continue to thrive.
Hi, you have a lot of points here but I disagree with your stance on education. Africa as a whole is" over educated " if I can put it that way... But after accurring this knowledge, there is never an avenue that student can engage in for physical theory and workshops.
The Chinese take work hectic to highest level and not relying on class room knowledge but craftsmanship.
To cut it all short..China is selling their excess crude oil that's have been accure over time from Africa and selling back to Africans because Electric cars is now the new norm in Europe. Cars are being powered right infront of their houses overnight and you can also power it at the filling stations.
That's means in the next few years petroleum products will be only use for industrial uses and their after it's only 3Rd world countries that will rely heavily on their on product as the world is moving towards sustainable lifestyle.

Have a good day ya all

FamilyRe: Pls Help! I Think I'm Going Crazy!! by Cleanworld(f):
Ferlis:
Good day all. I had to create this account to post this. I need help urgently. PLS I DON'T NEED ANY MONEY. I just need advice and guidance. I'm not myself right now. I'll try to be brief

I turned 27 last week, finished my service in March and work with a private company. I actually started working here after school and 'worked' my posting to serve here and I'm still here. My salary was increased to 200k per month shortly before the lockdown but I'm required to work everyday (mon-sun). No break. Work is going well and I'm okay with the long working hours. No issue

Problem I have is that I'm constantly thinking and worried about my health and future. Nobody except my immediate family is aware that I have a chronic medical condition. I have to inject myself twice daily (morning and night). Sometimes I skip a dose cos I'm fed up but the symptoms become unbearable so I have no choice but to continue with them. Doctors say its hereditary but my parents are fine. Well, my health is not even the issue, I only mentioned it so you'd understand me better

The main problem I have is I constantly feel worthless and depressed. I've been saving since I finished school but only have close to two million naira in savings so far. I tried getting my own apartment but my parents insist it's not wise since my workplace is very close to home and that I shouldn't start incurring so much expenses now

Well, how long will I keep saving before I'm financially stable to afford a good apartment? How long till I'm able to afford a car? Get married and establish my own business?

I'm an introvert and this constant worry has made me withdrawn even more from others. No single friend. I'm even tired of this life. Sometimes I wish I would sleep and wake up a child so I don't have to worry anymore. Other times, I wish I can just sleep and not even wake up.

The least grade I got in school was 'C' which was rare. Mostly 'A' or 'B'. Yet I would constantly cry and feel worse than even those that failed or were going to probate. People hated me for that but it's beyond my control

Let me stop here. Pls, what can I do to be happy and feel good about myself? I'm always worried, sad and frowning my face. Where can I find a therapist, counselor or psychologist cos I feel something is wrong with my brain. It gets so bad I start having intense headaches. Pls I'm tired. I just want this feeling to stop
You are slightly depressed. you are a perfectionist and loner but you yearn and crave to be free from 'mental cage.'
You need to reevaluate yourself now and ask yourself these 5 Questions below. You can take 2 weeks off work and travel.. Go and visit old friends that means much to you. Dont expect too much from people and yourself.
Find someone to love...this preoccupy your mind and give something to look forward to

Either you are good or bad
Either you are fine or ugly
Either you rich or poor
Either you nobody or somebody
What you make of your life is what you will take to the grave.

Find happiness at all cost. This what you need now.

Ask yourself questions

Who am I ? (identify yourself)

Where am I from ? (question of heritage)

Why am I here? (question of purpose)

What can I do? (question of potential)

Where am I going? (question of destiny)

SpecialAdviser:
As in. It always beat my imagination how most Yorubas will always see Igbos as their real enemies.

I advice all right thinking Igbos especially in Lagos to stay clear of further protests. Igbos never voted Buhari and I see no reason
they will be in fore front dieing for the course. Am sorry to sound this way but recent events of accusing Igbos of burning down Lagos
shows the extent of how myopic people can think. All over Igbo land, there were solidarity action for the Lekki killings.

How come people are stocking tribal tension between Igbos and Yorubas? For Igbos to have stood up against injustice of Lekki killings?
All the videos we watched, its obvious the language of the hoodlums are Yorubas . Again Miyetti Allah have made it clear Tinubu is the one sponsoring #EndSARS. How come these people never attacked Miyetti Allah?

I think, it should be enough for the protest. Lets watch as Nigeria unfolds. All over South East, I know the level of tension we suffered in the
past 2 days. I have never seen Igbos kill Yorubas anywhere in the east and I pray it will never happen. It will never be good for people trying to give this protest tribal dimension.

Nigeria urgently need either restructuring or break up. We are hardly one.
STOP SPEWING THRASH

WHO TOLD YOU THAT YORUBA'S HATE IGBO'S OR THAT IGBO'S HAVE TOLD THEIR CHILDREN HOW YORUBA'S BETRAYED THEIR FORE FATHERS?
THAT'S THE PROPAGANDA THAT THEY HAVE MADE YOU TO BELIEVE ALL ALONG
IS EAST BETTER THAN WEST, IS SOUTH BETTER THAN THE NORTH?
WE HAVE ONE COMMON ENEMIES WHICH WE ALL HAVE TO FIGHT NOW OR NEVER AGAIN
EVEN IF WE HAVE TO GO APART
IF WE DON'T STAND UP NOW WE WON'T BE ABLE TO DO THIS AGAIN
DON'T BE BLINDED BY TRIBALISM
OUR EYES IS WIDE OPEN NOW AND WE WON'T GO BACK TO THEIR BONDAGE
