Had it been osinachi left her husband , many church wouldn't have invited her for programmes

They could have tagged her a sinner

I know one of the reasons she stayed in her abusive marriage was because of what people will say. She wanted to cover up her reputation

That's why I am not easily impressed by marriage pictures on social media. Real marriage happens at home

Some marriages look like fanta on social media and the outside but Alomo bitters at home.

Lastpharoah33:
Good day landers, I would like to hear your opinion on this matter bothering me for days now.

I am faced with choosing between working in one of the breweries here in onitsha as a casual for 35k monthly and traveling to abuja be with an uncle who is into metal fabrication ( welding, painting and general sales of his product).

Thing is, if I am to stay here in onitsha...I have planned to save up 100-150k before next year to start a business my mom is currently into and she's doing pretty well in it .

While if I am to stay with this uncle in abuja, he agreed on teaching me basics of his profession like paint spraying with machine, and he also promised to set me up with trade in the welding industry as time goes on, but I will be placed on monthly salary after I must have learnt the painting process and stuff, ( mind you, his proposed salary is between 20-30k monthly).

My brothers and sisters, is welding something that can guarantee a good future in this present state of the country? Does it worth my time as a guy in his late 20's? Should I just continue with my 7-5 job ?

I have until 5th of april to decide. Thanks for your time.

Okay here is my a little advice.

1st, Learning the welding trade will guarantee your future as the business is booming in Abuja and any other place you will find yourself i n future

2nd, While in Abuja it won't take you 6 month to come up with N150k and with this money you can send to your mum to contiune with her trade. (you can agrre for mum to be sending you some stipend from time to time).

3. The breweries job is for someone that doesn't have any other option and when making decision think of long time achievement .

If you can endure whatever you will face in Abuja as a starter , you will have God to praise later in life.
Take care and choose wisely.

I'm a graphics designer and Web developer.

I have worked for many Nigerians, but what I noticed is that when they need the work, their pressures will be on you an be messaging and calling you time to time to followup on their work.

But once you completed and submitted the work to them, the ghost-mode has started, some will stop reading your messages, some will stop picking your calls, some will even goes as far as picking up up fight with you and the worst they'll start posting you for payment, like my bank network is bad, I want to sleep, when I wakeup I'll pay and many silly excuses in order not to pay.

Some people even relate with you very close that, you won't even know how to charge them for some works and you'll expect them to pay you well after deliver their works, but they'll still go ahead and pay peanuts.

Especially people you have being working with for a long time, takes this long time business relationship as Avenue to not pay for some little works. Let's assume you have designed a logo for some and he has paid and he later asked you to render the logo on a bus or brand a car for him, they'll expect you to do that for free, because they've paid you for the logo.

What do you think we can do as servicemen and servicewomen to curb this. This concern almost everyone I expect everyone to say something about this.

There's a simple strategy you can apply where clients will pay 80% up front before commencing on the job. Always add your on rules and policy to your business handbills or in the deed of agreement . This will make the non-payer group to seek job elsewhere and you will have your peace of mind. Pronto.

Family / Re: My Son's Behavior Is Getting Out Of Hand by Cleanworld(f): 12:43am On Mar 27, 2022
klassyguy:
I have two lovely kids with my wife - a girl and a boy. My son is six years old while his sister is eight. Both were born here in the US. I’ve done what I feel is right as a father to train these kids, but I know not everything can be done accordingly.

My son is restless. He has the attention span of three seconds before he gets distracted by something else. My mum tells says he is a copy of me when I was his age, but that was in the eighties and the way children were handled back then is totally different from today. He hardly wants to do anything in terms of school work and almost every day I get complaints from his teacher that he does not do his work or he is disruptive in class. When other students are doing their work, my son will be the one falling off his chair or hiding under his desk. His teacher told me he acts out when being corrected. Only yesterday my wife told me the teacher met her when she went to pick them up in school and told her that my son started yelling when the lights in the class started flickering. His behavior got so bad, they had to call the school security officer before he calmed down.

This behavior is really bothering me. I know my son is smart. His pre-school teacher once told me he was the smartest student she had. My son can do complex mathematical equations off the top of his head that even his older sister struggles to do. He has a very good memory and can list off all the types of trains that exist in the US, things that even I don’t know. It’s sitting down to be serious about work that he can’t do and can’t seem to focus on.

I enrolled him in a soccer club to see if that would help him expel his excess energy. At first he seemed to be lazy as he gets frustrated easily, and rather try harder, my son would rather give up and cry. I mostly have to encourage him to put in more effort, and most of the time he does not pay attention to what the coach says. The coach told me a couple of days ago that he wants to move him to a lower group level to see if he can build his confidence there.

I want to believe it’s his being the last born for now that’s worrying him. He seemed to start being a bit more mature when my wife got pregnant last year and he learnt they had a younger sibling on the way, but unfortunately, she miscarried and we lost the baby. I’ve been thinking for a while now whether to move back to Nigeria with everyone so that we can build some sense into both of them (my daughter’s story is another one). I’ve thought of taking them both for an ADHD test, but my wife is against that. The only time my son pays attention is when he’s doing something he likes, and that is when he’s playing the PS5 I got them or watching videos on YouTube Kids.

Any advice would be welcome from parents out there.

Gillian is a seven-year-old girl who cannot sit in school. She continually gets up, gets distracted, flies with thoughts, and doesn't follow lessons. Her teachers worry about her, punish her, scold her, reward the few times that she is attentive, but nothing. Gillian does not know how to sit and cannot be attentive.

When she comes home, her mother punishes her too. So not only does she Gillian have bad grades and punishment at school, but she also suffers from them at home.

One day, Gillian's mother is called to school. The lady, sad as someone waiting for bad news, takes her hand and goes to the interview room. The teachers speak of illness, of an obvious disorder. Maybe it's hyperactivity or maybe she needs a medication.

During the interview an old teacher arrives who knows the little girl. He asks all the adults, mother and colleagues, to follow him into an adjoining room from where she can still be seen. As he leaves, he tells Gillian that they will be back soon and turns on an old radio with music.

As the girl is alone in the room, she immediately gets up and begins to move up and down chasing the music in the air with her feet and her heart. The teacher smiles as the colleagues and the mother look at him between confusion and compassion, as is often done with the old. So he says:

"See? Gillian is not sick, Gillian is a dancer!"

He recommends that her mother take her to a dance class and that her colleagues make her dance from time to time. She attends her first lesson and when she gets home she tells her mother:

"Everyone is like me, no one can sit there!"

In 1981, after a career as a dancer, opening her own dance academy and receiving international recognition for her art, Gillian Lynne became the choreographer of the musical "Cats."

Hopefully all “different” children find adults capable of welcoming them for who they are and not for what they lack.

Long live the differences, the little black sheep and the misunderstood. They are the ones who create beauty in this world.

Rubbiish:

Often times I hear people say old age this, old age that etc I laugh. It is good to have a family, but having one doesn't guarantee a perfect end for anyone, it is all about trying our luck. Our neighbour back then was brought down by stroke, the illness got to a point his biological children were wishing for him to die.
This is not hearsay, they were my neighbor. The man was such a good & kind man. U know who was taking care of him, a distant relative they brought in to live with them, his own kids got tired of his sickness & abandoned him. When he died everyone was suspecting his children, because they were already complaining he was stressing them. My point is, let us not pray for an awful end, because family can also fail when it gets serious.

Everyone's life path is different so is our fate. we should strife to bring up our children in a way that they will not neglect us in our old age by showing and telling what a blessing is it to take care of our elderly and this can be pass on from generation to generation . my grandmother lived with us until when she was almost 85yrs. when mama wanted to go back home, we the children can't follow her so they have to get someone to stay with her and care for her while we go on holiday to see her.
There's no week that you won't see any of her immediate family visting her for a week or two BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T ABANDON THEM AND LOVE EVERYONE EQUALY
Firstly , Mama didn't depend on any one as she have already insured and planned for her future so she wasn't a burden.

There's a lot of reason why family matter. a lot that i can't find time to list here. i pray that the end will favour us all. thanks

should we totally depend on them

I think you are lucky to be in the ''Abroad''. your wife don't need to take up any job for solid 10 years because of school runs and nanny fees. she can start online business to help with income and you need to tighten up your belt and get good jobs. I am a social work student, we did a course on child law and we were taught that children from age 12 can be left briefly with the younger siblings, I don't know how long the time is I think for few hours, you can check young carer under the children act 1989 ( that's the act social workers currently use)

We were told that you can enroll the young child under the younger carer program. Do your research, I think your 13 year old is legible and can take care if the younger ones, I didn't ask where but I know it's the local authority that will help you sign up for the younger carer program.

Freedom2022:
Hello people. Please i beg someone here who is sincere and have the fear of God and want progress for his fellow human being to recommend a place where i can receive deliverance. The last 8 years of my life has been HORRIBLE. MONEY CANNOT STAY IN MY HAND FOR 48 HOURS and it is gone. I will not exaggerate, i have lost over 30 million naira over the past 10 years and i have been in DEBT for over 8 years consistently. I have NEVER been happy for straight 1 week for the past 10 years. Once money gets to my hand, it vanishes within 48 hours. I don't want to mention what it goes into because people are actually making millions from it so as not to discourage people. IT IS JUST ABOUT ME.
Now let me say something.

Whenever I have money with me, a mysterious cough starts and once the money is gone, the cough goes. It has been like this for the past 8 years. I cant explain it.

Right now, it has gotten to the worst and no matter how much is with me, it goes within hours. For example, if someone send me money right now, a mysterious cough will start in less than 30 minutes that the money gets to me and immediately i will not know what i am doing again (for real). Then i deposit all the money immediately into my Forex account, then this cough will get intense, i will cough and cough without stopping and before i know what is happening, the money is gone. Then that is when i realize and come back to my senses. I am been real and this is a true life situation.

Please guys dont joke with this because my life ruined right now. I can't boast of anything in my life right now. I have NOTHING. and the worst part of this is that i owe all loan apps money. I owe about 20 apps money as of today and all loans due and they have rubbished me already which as been going on for the past 8 years too.

I have tried to find out what could be wrong with me and i believe there is an unfamiliar force in my life. I can't explain somethings here but i need a powerful/powerful men/man of God to lead me through because i am ready to embark on a journey to redeem my lost glory. I have tried several time on my own but i think i am facing a lot of resistance and i give up almost immediately. Some people call it "agbana" but this type is so strong in my life and needed to be broken else i will be finished completely because right now, i am at the last days of destruction.

To shock you guys, i have someone in my family that experienced this thing too but in a different dimension and recently another person (i dont want to give too much information).

I have come to realize or believe that its is either a generational curse (ogun idile) or something i dont understand. See guys, something is happening spiritually in my life that is manifesting physically and this has to be broken IMMEDIATELY. Some people here may think otherwise which i agree with for a long time until i begin to see a pattern and i can tell it is not ordinary.

Right now, i have run away from home and i have promised myself never to return until this chain is broken.

I will be reading advices and recommendations here and i pray God guide me to pick the best because i know someone will recommend something that will change the narrative.

PLEASE GUYS, THIS IS A LIFE ISSUE AND I HAVE GONE TROUGH A LOT ALREADY. PLEASE DON'T ADD TO MY PAINS AND SORROWS. IF YOU CAN'T HELP ME PLEASE I BEG YOU IN THE NAME OF GOD TO JUST READ.

UPDATE

I think i need to add this. On 3 occasions, i got a very juicy high paying job with big companies in Nigeria. One is one of the top 5 big companies in Nigeria and have spread across some African countries while another is one of the to 5 companies in the world (It is a big company). But guess what? My offers on the 3 different occasions were withdrawn few days to resumption without any explanation. Is it a coincidence?

We can't debunked that there are no powers and forces but your level of how you believe and perceive it will eventually determine your qualitify of life either positively or negatively.

i can't say much but i will urge to do this 3 things:

1, Every morning for 3 consecutive days bath with your first urine and pray aggresively on it removing every barrier in your life.
2, Don't handle money on your own again. Once you have it either send it to your wife's account or a trusted person that knows your problem, someone that will help to keep eye on whatever you are speding the money on.
3. Go to the hospital and check the cause of your cough. Its like once you have money you put your body through a negative energy looking for ways to spend impulsively buying or spending on business.

You have to change your ways on how you handle lots of stuff regarding money.

Take care.

India has carried out a round of evacuation of its nationals stranded in Ukraine. The first batch of Indian students left Chernivtsi in a bus for the Ukraine-Romania border. The Embassy of India in Kyiv announced that the evacuation was being organised with the joint effort of the Indian embassies in Romania, Hungary and Poland.

"Today afternoon more than 470 students will exit the Ukraine and enter Romania through the Porubne-Siret border. We are moving Indians located at the border to neighbouring countries for onward evacuation. Efforts are underway to relocate Indians coming from the hinterland," the Embassy of India in Ukraine said in a social media message.

India has 20,000 migrants and students and has successfully send back over 6,000 and the remaining one are on their way to neigbouring countries either by foot or train as air travel has being cancelled due to fear that Russian/Ukraine will blow their plane on air.
