People in the house pls help me out with this,I intent attaching my dads lannded properties to my application,but the thing is dat I don't think there is a C of O,I can only find the land ssurvey docs whivh wuz donefar back as 1997 and the receipt of 1 on the lands,which was jst only signed by the seller andddd the buyer(my dad) and a witness...can I attach this docs or I shouldn't bother attaching it..

Please I need advise on an issue,like I said b4 my dad is late,but my uncle in US who is a citizen,is my sponsor,cos my dad is late.he actually has sent his docs,nd I wud b applying on thurday but on the issue of a home tie I intend using my mum and siblings and including my dads 2 landed properties,but the Issue now is that I do not knw where his C of O is,but I do have the receipt of 1 of his lands and the land survey of both land in my dads name,do u guyz think I should include it in my application as a home tie or shudnt boda since I don't have his C of O.

if you don't have your dad's death cert just tell him to to state your relationship in his letter of sponsorship and Support it with an affidavit of sponsorship.

You should also state your relationship with him in your sop, you can say he has bin responsible for your upbringing and education since your dad passed away.

You can tell your mom to write a letter too. She should introduce your sponsor and state your relationship in the letter.

However, if you share the same surname with your sponsor, your mum's letter is not needed.

laureek: I don't think there is anything wrong with your uncle sponsoring you especially that he's not just doing it.he's been the one all the while.I also think you should have some money in your account too and then a death certificate to back it up.u r good to go bro but some ogas @ the top here will have more suggestions

ChriGo: bro 2 get ur birth cert frm npc u nid ur affidavit,passport of person on ur affidavit, 2 of ur own passport photograph,photocopy of ur intl passport or ur national ID...jst go with 3k or 4k...ur cert should b ready in a wk or 2wks...npc office is at surulere jst like dict4alpha said...hope this helps
