Kingray10:
Every unoccupied, building with high rent should be taxed a very huge amount.
You are bitter!

Did you build the houses yourself?

Or you don't know some people live abroad and build houses in citiesin case of their visits. Note some unoccupied houses were built with hard earned money
Properties › Re: Reps Move To End Annual Rent Payment In Abuja by Cmanforall:
Is that Reps duty?

Maybe because they rent houses in Abuja for themselves and friends.

Let it be optional, monthly or yearly.
What if the tenant can't pay next month, considering the Nigerian situation?

Looks like there is no vacancy in 2027. Tinubu is not Jonathan that you would push aside oh. He is a God Father and when d battle is drawn he would gather his troops accordingly.

Watch this space.
It's easier because INEC is influenced by the presidency

Some may ask why did Jonathan not win as an incumbent president?

He could have been on the same level with Garnacho if given the same playing time.
And might not even have featured in games if not for injuries and unfit players

Not sure 'carefree' is the word.

Some countries have a very different culture (social, political etc) from Nigeria. Very different.

In some of these countries, violent crime is simply not the norm. The police in Norway look like benign, kindly social workers when compared to the thuglike, overly militarized police in countries like the USA. The murder rate in Japan for example is less than 1 per 100,000 people...and this is why Shinzo Abe's assassination was so shocking. Voters in some of these countries also want their politicians to be accessible - and a large security blanket will interfere with this desire for voters to connect with their representatives.

Nigerians (as usual) always get the short end of the stick. Their leaders are always inaccessible, hidden behind a massive security blanket. As if that weren't enough to deal with - it is ordinary Nigerians (and not their well protected leaders) who have to deal with violent crime, day after day after day. There's a cruel irony in how the worst aspects of the US system (violent crime, an inaccessible presidential system of government) have been imported wholseale by Nigeria...while the best parts were left alone.
Thank you.
Couldn't find a suitable word to use for the 'care-free'

An irony indeed!
In Nigeria, the elected politicians use many security personnel, and most of these politicians have not been targeted for assistation by ordinary civilians.

This undoubtedly indicates a significant lapse in security protocols.

even if it a street sweeper. What can 48k do for 1 person talk less of a family man. your type thinks he's immune to the suffering. your concern is for the university graduate. The non university graduate nko? he gets free food from the market abi. no Nigerian should earn less than 150k in this economy damaged by the clueless moronic drug pusher and his lack.of ideas to grow an economy apart from taxation
You know nothing about me!
It's not my fault that I'm not suffering the hardship you and your family are suffering. Don't pour your frustrations on anyone.
Though I selflessly care, support and help many people facing economic challenges.

I try to be logical. Yes, salaries should be increased.

I used a university graduate as an example, so people who may be confused with 48k monthly salary can get some clarifications.

Now, if truly sweepers are the least in the civil service ladder, how many of them work from 9am to 4pm in their respective ministeries?

After working for one month they give u one bag of garri as salary fogeting that workers pay Rent, transport to work every working day and they do feed their selves. Will politician give their girl friends as low as N50, 000 for one night, not to talk of one month.
Who are those to earn minimum wage

For now it will benefit federal government workers

Those at the bottom of civil service earn the minimum wage. Let Nigerian ls not confuse it with graduates who are civil servants.
I think a university graduate will start from Level 8. This means he's 7 steps above the minimum wage
Is that not so?
So a graduate will not earn 48k per month in the federal civil service

I just watched the video

It seems that's not her residential building, rather her farm. And one cannot say if truly it's hers. The video was cut and joined. She didn't show herself within the demolished building, nor show when her family was demolished.

Online contents can make some people do and record things
Hope she's not about to ask for fund raising

Let her ask those who lost structures during El Rufai time
Even Bolingo hotels was brought down.

The government should make public city maps and designated residential areas, so Agents won't defraud innocent citizens with false information.
