You don't need to use ORDER to reduce the price. Some factors can directly or indirectly crash that price. E.g. low petrol price, constant electricity and good transport network.
BigCabal: A vasectomy is a permanent contraceptive method where a male’s vas deferens is cut and tied or sealed to prevent sperm from getting to the urethra, to stop the man from ejaculating and fertilizing the female’s egg. Whew, that’s a lot of grammar. In simpler English, the tube that carries sperm from the testicles is tied up or sealed in order to prevent the sperm from reaching the penis. This procedure is mostly permanent although it may be reversed in some cases.
Men are increasingly considering vasectomies as a contraceptive method. For the most part, they do it to take the burden off their female partners who have historically been expected to use birth control methods that give them nasty side effects and some times, permanent damage. Vasectomies are generally safe and not as painful as most people think it is. I talked to 5 Nigerian men about vasectomies. They had some pretty interesting answers.
Paul, 38 I decided to get a vasectomy because we were done havings kids and no longer wanted to worry about falling pregnant. It’s less invasive for a guy to get a vasectomy than for a woman to undergo tubal ligation (tying up the fallopian tubes). It’s also way cheaper and requires much shorter recovery time. It’s not even comparable.
I had it done three years ago at my doctor’s office. It was a keyhole surgery (a minimally invasive surgery that’s carried out through a small incision in the skin) with local anaesthesia. I was chatting with the doctor the whole time while he had my balls in his hands. The procedure took all of 30 minutes. I had it done on a Friday and only took Monday off work (because its a desk job). I was cleared to return to the gym after a week.
I don’t regret it at all because it was an informed decision. Also, my wife put her body through the trials of pregnancy and childbirth. Getting a vasectomy done is such a small hit to take for the team. It’s even a bonus because you can have sexy time without condoms or fear of getting pregnant.
When people hear that I underwent the procedure, they’re generally chill about it. Except Nigerian men. They act like they’ve seen a ghost or I called their mother a witch. I can see them fighting the urge to grab their balls to ensure it’s still there. There’s no regret for me. I have two kids. I don lock shop. My team has retired my jersey. Full MVP status.
Hamza, 31 I’ve setup a vasectomy appointment for November. I don’t have any children and I’m perfectly fine with the prospect of never having one. My girlfriend is completely fine with it although I dare not tell my mother.
Ejiro, 47 I got a vasectomy six years ago. The birth of my third child was a shock to my wife and me, so we immediately decided that I would undergo a vasectomy. It wasn’t a big deal; I’m a doctor and I knew exactly what to expect. I was told it would be potentially painful but it really wasn’t. I was prescribed painkillers and I stopped taking them about ten days after the procedure.
I had it done here in the UK so it was pretty straightforward and, more importantly, free. Asides my wife, not even my close friends and family know that I underwent the procedure. Even if they did, they wouldn’t be surprised I had it done.
Now that I’ve had it done, I’ve got complete sexual freedom. I’m not bothered about whether my wife remembers to take her pills. I’m happy knowing that I’ve completed my family size. It is something I should have taken responsibility for and done a long time ago.
Sam, 32 I’m yet to get a vasectomy but my wife and I are in agreement on this, and I’ve spoken with a urologist. I’ve decided to get this done in November (that’s when our baby will be born) because my wife and I got married knowing that we’re both AS. You might think it’s a big risk but we both knew what we were getting into. Before we got married, we both wanted a child.
When she got pregnant, we took a test to confirm the genotype of the baby, and if she turned out to be SS, we would have aborted immediately. Luckily, she’s AS.
I’m a health worker, so I have experienced firsthand what women go through with birth control and family planning. I’ve seen how it messes them up in different ways like weight gain and constant bleeding. I’ve decided to take that pain off my wife and get a vasectomy done.
Ayo, 34 I’ve decided to get one. I’m married and I have 2 boys that mean the world to me. People ask if I don’t want to try again for a girl and I wonder if they will help me cater for that extra mouth in this Nigerian economy.
Hamas, 31 years. Doing vasectomy for his girlfriend. Please, someone that knows the guy should caution him. The girlfriend can as well use Intrauterine device.
Olodo24: So they all know each other before the show. Past and current housemates are either friends or relatives. BBNaija needs to upgrade it's mode of selection. Too much corruption.
Laycon for the money sha
Did you see the photos during recruitment?
Maybe someone can share so people can spot housemates, including KidWaya.
What is happening in Nigeria? Those who are suppose to protect the laws and breaking it so on a daily basis. If the police wants to have that authority to be accessing people's phones, they can push for a bill to make it a law. That way, every citizen will be aware they are breaking the law.

AlexReports: SO SAD!!! Imo Contractors Protest Over Unpaid Debts. (Photos)
Aggrieved members of Imo State Registered Contractors yesterday protested over the non-payment of over N4.2 billion owed them by the Imo State Government.
The contractors, who protested in front of Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) in Abuja, said that they were awarded contracts by the immediate past governor of Imo STATE, Rt Hon. Emeka Ihedioha to execute a number of projects such as renovation of schools, construction of new schools (primary schools and junior secondary schools) before the administration was sacked by the Supreme Court. But Senator Hope Uzodinma, who succeeded him, pleaded with the contractors to continue their projects, a development that persuaded them to borrow money from their banks to complete the projects.
Some of the placards read: "Banks and financial institutions have taken over our property", "Save our property from creditors", "Contractors are dying of starvation", Interests on loans are piling," etc.
Addressing newsmen in Abuja, the Chairman of the contractors, Honourable Williams Ejiakor, said that the contractors protested in front of UBEC, because the commission is a major stakeholder and having supervised and released its own counterpart funds, the commission should prevail on the Imo State Government to pay them.
“We renovated schools, built new schools---primary schools and junior secondary schools. We have 261 renovations and new buildings, as well as 23 boreholes and desks. The contract was awarded by the immediate past governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha. We did the jobs on January 14, 2020. When the new governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma came on board, he made a nationwide broadcast on January 16, 2020, and urged us to go back to site and finish our jobs. We obliged him, only to be told in March when some of us had finished our jobs that he was not going to pay. "The annoying part of it is that the fund for this job is domiciled in Owerri branch of Zenith Bank. Our members are suffering. We can no longer pay our bills. We lost one of our members three week ago, because she could not afford to pay her medical bills.
"So, we have come to Abuja to seek help from UBEC as a senior partner in this matter to prevail on Imo State Government to pay us our money, because a worker deserves his wages. Those jobs followed all known due processes, ” he said.
According to Ejiakor, UBEC has advised the governor to pay them, but the governor is insisting that he would not pay for contracts awarded by Emeka Ihedioha.
“The management of UBEC has advised the state government to pay us. Why he has refused to pay is what I don’t know. Most of us borrowed money from banks, and the interest is piling every day. We lost a woman three weeks ago. We are appealing to Senator Hope Uzodinma to temper justice with mercy and pay us our money. We did not commit any crime by working for the state. Government is a continuum,” the chairman noted.
Their interest is in the money and they have information where it is ...
How long was Ihedioha in office? Did they actually execute the job? Where are the schools located? At least pictures can help. Moreover, it will paint the image of the governor well if he's working on educational projects
But which contractor in present day Nigeria will build over 200 schools within this short time
I find this people as mere political contractors trying to cash out on States fund.
They didn't protest in their state... at least people that are benefiting in the schools (if it was actually built) would have joined in the protest.
molbic: TO Every Nigerian That Is Angry With This Buhari' s Government Please Lets Stop Voting For APC Both Federal, State, Local Government and even counselor Because This People are Disgruntled Set Of People Just Like President GEJ Said Ordinary Criticism They Don't take Talk more Of Protest. If am To Advise Nigerians Infact Lets Stop Voting For Anybody That Is Above 60 Years Because those Generation Failed This Country So Bad. I Don't Talk My Own . Buhari is Too Old ,At This Age You Have Nothing To Loose . Akpabio and His Goons Has Gone Scott Free And so Do So Many Other Corrupt Officials In This Buhari's Government.
Will they listen?
The problem is that other parties aside APC & PDP don't have stronghold all over the country. And these 2 big parties may never consider a younger candidate.
I wish people start voting for personalities at the Local and State levels, and not party.
So Nigeria can have Governors from KOWA, YPP, FRESH, Accord etc. based on the individual's capacity
josdiv: Nice logo. Gladly we were not told how much it cost to design it. It would have been fun for the government to create a contest around it and get the people voting for the best. My tots!
Good idea. Would have brought out the creativity of Nigerians... Even if the cash reward is 1million
No. 19 though...when theres no steady power supply? 19. Always keep your outside light on and the light inside off at home when sleeping. It confuses robbers and other assailants.
Theevilone: This is my first time of posting here, tho i am a regular and nairaland addict .
Some just asked me a very simple question that I ought to have known this morning but I goofed.
He asked, does it mean Nigeria government doesn't have machine that prints money, do they also import naira ?and I answered we have, so he asked then why are we borrowing from other countries when we can print as many naira as we want and I answered, it will make naira surplus and worthless.
He said in that case naija can print as much as they are owing China and pay them back if the surplus here will make it worthless.
Please I need much deeper understanding and knowledge why countries borrow when they can easily print as much as they want for their own use.
The reason is that China gives money to the facilitator for every loan deal that is sealed. So most officials are lured to borrow from them for their personal enrichment.
Johnnyessence: Edo 2020: We are sure of victory, Obaseki assures as PDP rounds off campaign …promises to end godfatherism …vote, stay, protect your mandate, Obi, Tambuwal, Okowa, Wike, others urge Edo electorate
The Edo State Governor and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Tuesday, declared that with the support of Edo people and endorsements by over 100 groups in the state, he is certain of victory in Saturday’s gubernatorial election in the state.
The governor who gave the assurance at the final reelection campaign rally in Benin City, urged eligible voters in the state to come out en masse to vote the PDP to enable him consolidate on the achievements recorded in his first term and put an end to godfatherism in the state.
Present at the rally were former Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 general elections, Mr. Peter Obi; Chairman of PDP Governors' Forum and Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal; Chairman, South-south Governors' Forum and Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa; Governors Nyesom Wike, Seyi Makinde, Ben Ayade, Duoye Diri, Victor Ikpeazu, Udom Emmanuel of Rivers, Oyo, Cross-Rivers, Bayelsa, Abia, Akwa Ibom states respectively, among other dignitaries.
According to Obaseki, “I don’t have anything to say to you my Edo people but to thank you; you have been wonderful especially as we went through the 192 wards to seek your support for reelection.
“We will win this election because so far over 100 groups have endorsed me for the race. With groups like the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Trade Union Congress (TUC) Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP) and other groups in the state behind me, tell me how we will lose the election?” Obaseki continued: “Democracy is not a government of godfathers but a government of the people, by the people and for the people. In Edo we have been fighting godfatherism and by Saturday we will put an end to it, and after that go Lagos and put an end to godfatherism in Nigeria.
"The godfather disturbing Nigeria came up this morning, he is afraid because he knows when we finish that of Edo, we will come for him in Lagos and finally end godfatherism in Nigeria".
On his part, Tambuwal urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies to ensure the conduct of a free, fair and credible poll in the state. He said: “I learnt they are coming to Edo with a bullion van; don't sell your votes; vote and protect your votes.
"I am appealing to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct a free, fair and credible election. I also want to appeal to all the security agencies not to intimidate anybody on election day. Even when you are being intimidated, don't run home, stay back and protect your votes..
Meanwhile Okowa noted: “This is the first time a governor went round from ward-to-ward to campaign. As you vote, remain vigilant and shine your eyes. No one can cheat the majority. Edo will not be left out; all South-south states are PDP, so we don't want anybody to cheat on us.” Also, Governor Wike said:"If we must fight and put an end to godfatherism in Nigeria, it must start on Saturday in Edo State. The IGP has assured us of a secure election in Edo and the INEC chairman has also assured Edo people of a free, fair and credible election but don't let us go and sleep with all these promises but stay awake and be vigilant and ensure that Obaseki wins. "Obaseki must be voted for, to bring an end to godfatherism in Nigeria. The Edo election is important as it will show the way out to eliminate godfatherism in Nigeria.”
