Please house, I have a question concerning ielts. Please what's the best way to tackle multiple choice (a, b, c) questions must especially in section 3 n 4 of listening. Dats the must challenging. Any idea how to overcome this?
Glitteringstar has said pretty much all you need to know.
1. Cross out wrong answers
2. Listen for all the answers, as you'll most certainly hear the speakers discuss each option. But listen intently for any change in opinion. As that often happens, expect it!
3. If you are out of options, take an educated guess.
4. Practice and practice. Use www.mini-ielts.com. There are a lot of such questions there.

Efamily please a friend of mine using WES has been on awaiting verification for months and he has two masters from the same university. The university said it has sent verification for the both masters but WES only acknowledge for one and said its awaiting verification for the other masters. Please wats the way forward and advice for this?
You are not gonna get more points for two masters than you would for one. If you have IELTS already, have WES evaluate only one masters and dive head first into the pool.

- Thanks a lot.

To claim 50 points for skill transferability factor with a Master's Degree, do I need to also evaluate my Bsc. Degree?

As it is stated on their website " Two or more post-secondary program credentials AND at least one of these credentials was issued on completion of a post-secondary program of three years or longer - 50 Poiints"

Thanks. Really appreciate.
No, your Masters degree is enough. That should earn you maximum points.

Hey guys,
Please i would like to know, on what circumstances is one allowed use the "two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees?" because i did some trainings and was issued certificates on QHSE. i would like to know if i can use these certificates and claim points from that option between Bsc and Msc from education on CIC tool.

Anyone with ideas on this?
Please help. thanks.
No, you can't use those. They are not diplomas or degrees. If you had acquired a number of those certificates towards gaining a final diploma, then you could have something.

Hello people, I want to confirm if someone can get points for an MBA (with merit) awarded by a UK university but via distance learning. A colleague of mine wants to start the process, but she is scared that her age-36 and unmarried status may not allow her get enough points. She doesn't want to start the process except she is convinced that her MBA can get her additional points. Am I advising her correctly if I tell her to go on? Will WES evaluate her MBA?
Thanks.
Yes she can. Some persons have done same.

Pls help!!!
I'm not the best to answer this since it's outside my experience, but I could give it a shot. I tried to do some research on your questions.

1. Every evidence I found points to the fact that you should have added the newborn before PR, If the baby came before. The instruction is to "inform immediately" circumstances change. Nevertheless, I guess you can still add a family member, at least after issuance of visa, but before obtaining PR status. A change in family composition may also affect eligibility because of settlement funds.

Anyways, read here. It has all the details you need. What you need do now is simply inform CIC.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/refuse.asp

3. If you are not using PEBC, I guess you can use any of WES, ICAS, etc. They'll all give the same evaluation, bachelor's 4 years. Your decision will depend on whether it's a UK/US school where transcripts and verifications are processed faster or on whether you can't wait on verification.

So in other words, if Mr. X worked in company A as a Manager for 1 year...then moved on and worked in company B as a manager for 6 months....then moved on again to work in company C as a manager for 1 year and 6 months, Mr. X can claim 3 years working experience?
Yes, definitely

Anyways, referring to the bold statement above, you're the second person I'm hearing/reading that from. Is there a link to where I can find this info online? Thanks.
There are a number of blogs which discuss this. On IELTS site you'll find the below, which is available at this link https://www.ielts.org/about-the-test/how-we-develop-the-test

Amen. I wrote my ielts yesterday and trust me, am really worried. I can't imagine writing ielts again cuz dt was my 2nd attempt and it's the listening dtz giving me headache. I really practiced d listening, even while at work. I practically abandoned everything to enable me practice d listening. I missed 2 questions in d heading part which is worrisome. I look up to God.
Don't worry, you'll be fine. IELTS adjust scores for difficulty. If they do and you perform well, you'll score high enough.

Good afternoon house. Please help with these questions from a friend:
1. One of my banks (with my salary account) refused to give a letter that complies with CIC standards. I therefore withdrew the money, about CAD6500 to my other account. How do I prove that the money is mine and that it is not a lump deposit?

2. If I am able to prove the CAD6500, coupled with CAD3000 given to me via a gift deed, do I also have to prove the source of the other amount, given that I had some cash in the other account before?
You didn't really have to do this. Some people here have applied without getting a letter that complies with CIC standard from the bank. They just get something useful and then pad it with their 6-month bank statement.
Anyways, since you did it already, it's easy to prove. Perhaps you can write a LOE and then attach the statement from the other bank showing how the money was a deposit from your other account. That's if you want to overkill it.
Some others have not bothered explaining lump sum deposits into their account and their PR application didn't suffer for it.

Good day people, I just received my Police Certificate and they made a mistake. Instead of typing Canada as the country I'm traveling to,they typed United Kingdom. Please is this a serious issue? Can I use it like that?
I haven't seen this case before, but if I were you I wouldn't use it. You can easily get another PCC for 3k in Lagos. Why take the risk?

1. She had a complete 1yr work experience at a different company PRIOR to joining this current company where she’s been working for the 2yr & 8months. Is it possible to combine both to make up for 3yrs and of course claim full points?

I know that using the CRS TOOL, it has to be in a single occupation. A friend said for EE pool, it doesn’t have to be a single occupation only. I just want clarity, thanks.

2. Her sibling got married to a Canada PR holder in Nigeria earlier this year but is yet to finalise paperworks(still processing) to go be with the spouse in Canada. Since the spouse(in Canada) is already a sister-in-law, is it possible to claim the "family in Canada” 15points using her? Pls take a look at the attached.
1. If it is in the same time of job as her primary NOC, then yes she can combine experience and claim full points. Skilled experience is required to be in the same type of job as your primary NOC. However, I was going to point out that you really needn't fret too much over "2 years 8 months". For FSW, you need only 1 year. Of course for EE, you need 3 years for max points. But you should put in your profile anyways and by December, you can earn your full points. Provided age is no worries at that time, you'll be exactly where you want to be in terms of CRS. Except there is something ayam not understanding.

2. Her sibling does not have PR yet nor is a citizen of Canada. So you can't use that.

Slowlybtsurely, I saw my Bigbroda - Bigfido giving a Kissoflife to a damsel whose eyes I can only describe as GlitteringStar. Definitely both were Crazyinlove displaying their affection under a Lovetree. Unknown to them, there was a Canadianfly about giving a Kontagious sting.

Because Godisawesome, they were able to meet Drhopeful who like a Ballerz gave a Billy treatment.

All these happened while we all wait to receive a Judgment that has seen a Blackbuddy and a Merrymum (40manlappy and Mummyjaygirls) spending Winter with JustinTrudeau.

At the end, we all will testify to having an AwesomeGod.
This is what IELTS should be marking. Maybe you'll get 10 over 9, lol.

Please I have a bsc from Unilag and an advanced diploma from ACCA. Can I have both of them assessed as separate certificates under Wes...
Please make sure to send both so they can be assessed separately at the same cost. I think you'll get additional certificate with the advanced diploma.

He says it means something about ministry of foreign affairs, etc. I no too understand his French like that. Did you get this PCC from Algeria?

I don't think this is right. I think Cochtrane is right. Whether you are married or not, once the father is named on the birth certificate, his approval/consent will likely be required except if you have full custody and a letter from a court stating that you are free to move with the child to another country
Abi. And I wasn't even assuming that you have to be married before having a child, nor was I destructively critizing. smiley I respect women as much as I do men.
It's even there on CIC's website that when traveling with a minor as a separated parent (no longer with other half), you'd need to show evidence of full custody of the child.

Hello Everyone,

Just want to appreciate you all for your continuous assistance rendered to those of us who are novice in EE.

Well I need your assistance in form of advice
I am 36 years ,while my wife is 30 years.
We have 2 daughters.
We both wrote the Ielts exam on the 19th of August 2017.

My result was listening 6.0,reading 6.5,writing 7.0 and speaking 7.0 with an average band score of 6.5.
I intend being the principal applicant.
I have about 10 years working experience post NYSC.

My wife score is listening 6.0,reading 5.0,writing 6.0 and writing 6.5 and with an average band score of 6.0.

My questions are:
Does she really need to write another Ielts exam ? She does not want to though.
Is the score good enough to apply for EE system considering that I will be hoping to get a provisional nomination.
I will appreciate you all advices comments on this matter even I omitted some.

Please advise me according
_
I guess you know you need to rewrite the exam. It would be a good idea if she could also rewrite. Think about it as a family project where you need to put hands together. This could be all that is standing between your family and your dream in Canada, if you want it sha. What's your current CRS score?

Yes, your scores are good enough for the EE system. So are her scores, only they are too low to be significant. You can use the eligibility tool to find out if you are good to go.
