Hello all! At wat stage of my EE applicatn will i b required to upload a statement of account. I presume it is after an ITA and not the initial stage wen i entered in the EE pool. Please, I need clarification.

Besides, is there need for any doc upload while I initially fill n submit my profile for the EE pool. Thank you all, as u shed light on this.
Yes, you upload documents only after ITA. To enter the pool all you need is to fill in some details, which you should be able to defend with documents.

I just renewed my international passport and require the following clarifications:

1. Do I delete the old passport details on my cic acct and update with the new one or keep both.

2. Do I update oinp of the new passport details and upload blank pages (I have a nomination).

3. During ITA application my travel history is in my old passport details do I keep same and also share blank pages & data pages of my new passport?

Pls, advise.
I don't think you need to delete the old passport details. You should just update with the new one, keep both and explain you new passport acquisition. Those who applied with two or more passports had no problems with their application, provided they were clear enough about it.

Do you really have to upload blank pages? I don't think so.

The crux of the discussion is how to get the maximum points from work experience under EE.

cc: elfmann
yeah, I agree.

Still think we need more details from others to come to a conclusion on this. Unfortunately, most don't share experience.

My work experience had to be 3 years for me to get max points. First NOC was in banking (1.5 yrs) then second was as an oil/gas field engineer (2.5 yrs). The koko is that whatever u use as PRIMARY NOC in ur application must exceed one year. Every other experience will count towards the 3 yrs u are targeting, even 6 months experience in a job.
You needed at least one year to qualify at all and you had that.

With 2 years on your experience, would your CRS (+ spouse's contribution) have exceeded the CRS/FSW cut-off?

yes,maybe your job functions were related. For instance if I was a database administrator in a bank and later moved to a full IT consulting organization as an IT specialist, its obvious that my roles are in different NOCs but in the same profession, so yes it will fly.

But for someone who was a teacher and now a banker for instance, this wouldn't apply. I stand to be corrected though.
I don't think this is correct. Different NOCs = different jobs, actually. I don't agree with "related job functions". I may be wrong though.

The tweet emphasize the fact that you can only use one NOC to claim the maximum 3 years experience "at a stretch" under EE. Please confirm that in your case, one of the NOCs is up to 3 years.

cc: hiscules, elfmann
The NOC doesn't have to be 3 years. 3 years earns you the maximum score, but even 1 year is good enough as long as your computed CRS score is above the cut-off. She might have had just enough years to earn the cut-off for both express entry and FSW.
CIC site says it's only one NOC, though it could be different companies. That's the same thing they confirmed in the tweet. I'd appreciate if she could throw more light on those different NOCs and their respective years.

Back to more important things.

I received the golden mail this morning. It is PPR people! God has just been so faithful. Wrote to them yesterday evening Nigerian time and they responded that it was in Ottawa and hasn't been finalized yet. Only to wake up to the golden mail this morning. Don't know if they work over night in the Ottawa office.

19days from AOR to PPR. It can only be God. I put the barest minimum I could put (apart from the bank reference letters). Didn't provide a single bank statement. Didn't include payslips and appointment letters. Had plenty travel history for both my husband and I. I had nearly all my funds in my husband's account. God just covered over any mistakes as none were intentional.

ITA = 9th Aug
AOR=11th sept.
MEDP= 21st sept.
IP1 = 22nd sept.
NA2 = 27th Sept
IP2 = 29th sept.
PPR = 30th sept.

Will send my passports once I return to my house next week.
Congrats XX01. Blazing speed! Very good.

Narldon:
Schizophrenia is a mental disorder characterized by abnormal social behavior and failure to understand what is real.

Common symptoms include false beliefs, unclear or confused thinking, hearing voices that others do not hear, reduced social engagement and emotional expression, and a lack of motivation.

People with schizophrenia often have additional mental health problems such as anxiety disorders, major depressive illness, or substance-use disorders.

Mental health problems can have a wide range of causes. In most cases, no one is sure precisely what the cause of a particular problem is. It's likely that for many people there is a combination of factors, although some people may be more deeply affected by certain things than others.

The following factors could potentially trigger a period of poor mental health:

childhood abuse, trauma, or neglect

social isolation or loneliness

experiencing discrimination and stigma

the death of someone close to you

severe or long-term stress

unemployment or losing your job

social disadvantage, poverty or debt

homelessness or poor housing

caring for a family member or friend

a long-term physical health condition

drug and alcohol misuse

domestic violence or other abuse as an adult

significant trauma as an adult, such as military combat, being involved in a serious accident or being the victim of a violent crime

physical causes – for example, a head injury or a condition such as epilepsy can have an impact on behaviour and mood (it is important to rule out causes such as this before seeking further treatment for a mental health problem)

genetic factors – researchers are currently investigating whether there might be a genetic cause of various mental health problems but there is no clear proof yet.

The mainstay of treatment is antipsychotic medication, along with counselling, job training, and social rehabilitation.
Abeg help us tell them. Our people no too dey understand anything. They don't think very far away from certain preset thoughts.

My Ielts journey-  To urge someone on.

 LRSW

 1st attempt 8/6.5/7.5/7.5
2nd attempt 8.5/6.5/7/7
At this point I was upset with the test and just registered again  and ofcourse the result was even worse.Seemed like I was retrogressing instead.I became discouraged.
3rd attempt  7.5/6.5/8/6.5
At this point I realised it was no play affair.i took time off work to prep.
4th Attempt 8.5/6.5/8.5/7.5
I was defeated and broken and began to have doubts about my Canadian aspirations and the possibility that the Canadian dream may not be for everyone(Me). It seemed my prayers were not being answered.This time, I didn't rush to register. I read Kontagious post about his experience with the test.His post relieved some of the disappointment. I read Bigfido's post of success after 7 attempts and I was encouraged not to give in to defeat yet. I consequently  applied and paid for remark(against my better judgement but I was thinking it may be a technical glitch. I mean it's weird right, 6.5 in reading 4 times). About 3 days after the application for remark, I got a call from the test administrator from  BC asking to meet me. I went and he listening to me and explained to me that he assessed my answer sheet and what I was awarded was really my score.He wanted me to make a cautioned choice for the remark.I sighed and withdrew the EOR. I registered again for ielts leaving enough time to practice. All the materials I got from this platform were great.
5th Attempt 8/8.5/8/7
God's mercy found me. My Crs has moved address from 395 to 449. All praise to God.
Wow! Just wow!
I bet it's easier to read this than to actually experience it. I'm trying to wrap my head around what this experience could be like, but it's impossible. House please help clarify
If some1 has evaluated BSC with WES and received ECA and he later wants to evaluate ICAN. How can this be achieved successfully pls?

Will WES now evaluate it separately again or merge it with the BSC earlier evaluated to read 4degree + 3degree?
Pls note : the aim of this evaluation is to boost scores with 2/more certs
Why don't you just evaluate both? It'll cost same anyways.
If you are looking at cost, then you can go ahead to evaluate only the ICAN. All you need do when entering it in your profile is to note the separate reference numbers.
But you need to be sure your ICAN will be positively evaluated. I think 40manlappy's post here describing this stuff emphasized only the newest ICAN syllabus is positively evaluated by WES.

Can we safely conclude that the reason some got undesired results was simply because "immigration" was stated.
I think we should conduct a poll on this forum
Certainly not. They are too professional to do anything like that. Besides, I doubt IELTS examiners have before them anyone's reason for writing the exams while they access the person. That would influence their assessment, so they wouldn't do that. It's all just in the head.

We all preach 'say the truth as it is' and even talk down on people with regards to this, yet some still wanna manipulate... Hoping BC will not be stingy with scores if they do not mention the real reason they need the results (to boost your scores for CIC). If there's really no impact on your score like you say... Why LIE or CONSIDER it? When registering for ECA, I'm very positive you selected Immigration... No?

Anyway... the choice is yours and that was only my opinion.
Lol. Okay calm down, bro. You know candidates lie on the real test, right? In speaking and in writing, in order to score better? Truth is, there's nothing binding any candidate from telling the truth to IELTS. Not when you register, not when you take the test. As long as you can prove on the exam day that you are the one on your ID with which you register. Read their terms and conditions.

I don't think you should generalize attitude towards CIC to IELTS. Just my opinion.

If it's for immigration, it should be stated... I thought we were preaching 'truth' here.
There's nothing binding the use of your IELTS score to immigration. If you opt to not state a reason, whatever it is, it has no bearing on your application. And if you do, it has still no impact on your application. So, there's no "truth" or "nontruth" here. It's not like those who write for immigration are accessed any nicely than those who aren't, at least according to BC. Anyone's reason for writing IELTS isn't exactly the curious need of BC, besides for the purposes of a survey. It has zero impact on your score. So, it should be a complete choice to share or not share this info with BC for whatever reason. And unlike with CIC, there's no "contract" binding candidates to tell any "truth" to BC, so there's really no point in your statement.

Evaluate both so you can earn more points with Two or more certificates. That's the highest you can get with both. With only BSc you'll get lower points with ECA.

I don't think you need to state immigration as a reason. British Council does not even send your results to CIC.

1. For somebody that has HND with several International Professional certifications in Occupational Health and Safety (Like NEBOSH IGC, NEBOSH IOGC, OSHA). Which one is advisable to used for Educational Credential Assessment (ECA)

Thanks
All those certs won't get you additional assessments. They are certificates and do not count towards the completion of a course or degree. Neither do you get transcripts after completing them.

For Naija PCC, I presume I will have to go to the Nigerian Embassy to take my fingerprints to be sent to folks back home in Naija who can go to Alagbon on my behalf. Is this correct?

Get the PCC application form. Complete it and put your fingerprints. Send a scanned copy to your contact in Lagos who will take it to Alagbon. Your contact will then obtain your Nigerian PCC which can be scanned back to you.
