I think she's in a better position to answer all that. Can't really speak for her.
Sh0llypopz: Oh, makes sense now. I thought Arif was some form of Western Union. At what point did she realize that her bf was a fraud? Do you know the reason she didn't go through the appropriate agency to receive her money?? Why contact complete strangers like Jaybee3 and co to collect money from a man she knows more than they do?
What reason did he give to justify using numerous credit cards that do not always work? I'm sure he must have said something to allay her worries.
armyofone: @ cococandy Thank you for posting that youtube video...that was the story I told you about not long ago. Have you seen her on Oprah Winfrey show? If not for her friends and supervisor at work, I don't think she would have left.
No I've not seen her on Oprah show. Such a fine woman.
And why are you going gangster on me? What did I say?
SAMBARRY: Cococandy what are you saying sef.the woma herself is at fault
How can you as a woman go to the police station to go and report domestic violence and you still go back to that same house where the violence was perpetrated against you.don't you have dignity. Do you except to go back to the house and not unleash worse terror.she's the kind of woman y orubas call eran iya.aka scapegoat used in teaching other erring goats a lesson
This is the kind of situation you preach that people should get themselves away from if it happens to them in the name of marriage as there is nothing worth salvaging in such marriages.
Bollinger: Gaddemmit!! That peppersoup looks too sumptuous for words. For God's sake, wich kain tin be dis na? You wan ki persin wit long troat, ehn? Shame i can't cook anything till next month. Anyway, it's official. All in favor of nominating cococandy for minister for food and agriculture, say aye.
EfemenaXY: I'm not even going to ask what happened between them both to have brought this on.
What I'll say is this: I hope she'll take this latest form of abuse from him to pick up her son and run for dear life.
Or maybe the pray for him. Fast and endure crew will show up and encourage her to forgive and fight for her "marriage". After all, a dead Mrs with 11/2 ears is better than a single/separated/divorced woman.
raayah: daretodiffer, freecocoa, cococandy, MzMyColi, fem29, I would like to hear your input on this matter.
I think it's subjective. Personally I'm for working a mom. Not that I think being a stay home mom will dampen the female offsprings ambitions like insinuated in the OP.
EfemenaXY: Could do, but d'you know I used them as an incentive to lose weight? At the time I got them, I was a UK dress size 14. It took me weeks to find someone who could string them into waist beads (the crazy woman charged me £25 for each one - I nor blame her). Anyway, I asked her to fix them for a waist size 10. Had to tell her it was for my niece jare.
When they were done, I fell so much in love with them, but didn't dare try them on as I didn't want it snapping. All I could do was really diet and exercise and the closer I got, the more motivated I felt. Anyway, to answer your question, you could use them as a substitute for belts for your jeans trousers or "hot pant" shorts during the summer.
Those two readily come to mind. That way, you've got spiritual coverage from two major angles. Christianity and our good old African traditional based beliefs. Quite comforting, isn't it.
And you were right about Bellong getting bribed with cowries. I love cowries. Seriously. I actual bought 2 packs from Ebay, shipped from the states. Almost like the real deal. Almost except they aren't alive (thank goodness) and are polished. Had them strung into waist beads. Sexy stuff.
But somehow, methinks you might pick up on it after Junior's made an appearance. D'you know that amongst other things, it helps with anemia? I guess I'm sold on it. But I think £1.80 (single shot) or £3.50 (double shot) is a rip-off.
I wouldn't even know where to get that here but if I did, I'll make sure to spike the taste before downing it in one gulp. No savoring for me.
Her friends tried it with a bit of ginger (yuk) and some sort of pepper.
When I tried mine at work, I was given a slice of apple to go with it. I just gulped the drink in one go, then had the apple later. But now, watching the YouTube videos on it, it seems one is meant to savour the taste for at least a minute or so in the mouth, so that it really "seeps in" to the blood stream before reaching the digestive juices within the stomach (or something to that effect).
Okay the cancer bit may make me consider it. Can't one tweak the taste at least? Add something to reduce the chalky taste and the grassy smell. Maybe lemons or honey. I don't know
Helps increase your red blood cells, helps with digestion, detoxes the body, helps prevent cancer, helps reduce monthly period cramps, improves your skin...gosh check out her skin!
EfemenaXY: I plan to. At least once or twice a week in the mornings. I know it smells and tastes horrible but it think it could quickly become an acquired taste.
Maybe I'm really Mrs foodo as Bollinger calls me. You need to see how this peppersoup made me happy because I've been searching for the right spice for a while.
