Truckpusher: You wouldn't even whine and cry about it from your initial response if you're nowhere closer to the truth .
We are exchanging ideas here and not based on personal experience though you're just one emotional girl that I've managed to tolerate here for far too long but you keep pushing your luck , honey! ama bite you again. I honestly believe you're high. Because for 1 you're one making any sense And 2 I wasn't exchanging any ideas with you to start with. You quoted me to yarn incoherently. And are still being incoherent. |

Confused much? You'll still be the first to start crying when some ladies say all men are dogs with no self control.you don't even know where you stand Truckpusher: Most women don't accept that hard fact which is well embedded in the culture and this cultural attributes defines a people's behavior and if it's accepted it becomes a symbol and a normal thing. Maybe these women have become too acculturated with cultures where emasculation of men have become the norm. Africa is in problem , all thanks to globalization and copy cats. But we are here , we will never change - This is just who we are. I've been with several Asians and Europeans, just to mention but a few across cultures - They all do the same thing but the only difference is that there is a restriction unlike ours where it is recognized that a man can practice polygamy - That's a license for the men's folk to cheat which I don't see as cheating after all the laws of the land accepts it and made it normal. Feminists , jealous and vengeful women should create their own world if they can't accept that fact - as long as men are made to pay for sex and marriages then we are at liberty to buy any woman with anything that serves her purpose. If women wants any form of sensitivity from us on this issue , they'll first of all have to fight their own fight. Women are their own worst enemy. |

When I tell you to just add a little more money and buy original weed, you won't listen. See what cheap backyard Igbo is making you yarn. Truckpusher: My friend do ya Fuccking homework and stop blabbing and I hope that you're aware that there are hundreds of you that wants your job badly.
Trust me there are also thousands of guys that wants to take you away from your hubby but at what cost unlike the men's folk that will go into it hand , leg and neck and braze for the consequences. But your treacherous ass won't fight to keep it that way like men. If you like no do ya work , another applicant will do it and do it for keeps. |

Of course. God forbid the real culprit take the blame for his behavior. GogobiriLalas: The primary mistake most women make as I have constantly reiterated is to suppose that madam's kini is sweeter than house help's kini; the reverse is actually the case; househelp's kini is usually younger and more easily accessible. When an proud, unsubmissive, insubordinate, insolent, abusive, nagging and lazy woman finally takes a house help, she inadvertently takes in her better. The repercussions are constantly dramatized in divorce courts and public forums such as Nairaland; naive people are quick to point accusing fingers at the man crucifying him for some supposedly lapse in self restraint forgetting that a man is a creature of habit, his needs are there for the observant wife to notice, if she fails to satisfy them, the fault lies solely on her table. |

Good questions bukatyne: The story is funnily sad.
The man took the maid as a sister kwa?
But again, this story is very igandoish sha...
1. A family lives with one room with three kids and have a maid?
2. Where does the maid sleep?
3. The husband can afford to rent a flat for his second wife yet cannot rent same for 1st wife and kids?
4. They have been married for 17yrs So will assume their kids are grown.... What the heck do they need a maid for? In a one room apartment? Except the maid is really a salesgirl who stays with them?
5. Why doesn't the husband want the divorce? |

Don't know who to believe but brossam who I suppose is neutral in this matter has seen the bruises on madam's face which looks as bad as if she was attacked by robbers.
I believe you can sort things out except that you've added violence to your issues which for me is always a deal breaker. So before one of you kills the other, kindly stay apart for now.
BTW how's the child in this marriage being taken care of? |

So the woman is the problem. Not the randy husband? dsquare33: Some women are funny, you have been married for 17 years and your maid is 18 years, she is already a full grown woman, at that time everything is set in the right propoption. Yoruba parlance will say o ti ba laga. Na so Sarah with Abraham problem start, Some women just like courting trouble, why not employ a smaller girl or an older maid or nanny , whom the husband will not find attractive. She said they started dating when she travelled, too bad. Probably she is not the type that has time to take care of her family. Women, never leave your home to the care of a maid no matter how 'ugly' or 'unattractive' the maid is. |

Some ladies have spoilt some guys rotten. He should prolly go hire a maid who goes to the market daily and prepares the food. What nonesense?
Any guy that behaves as such seriously needs a reorientation and I can only imagine what pain their wives go through.
You can't be found at home, your kids dont see you and no one can predict your whereabouts at a given moment. So what are you? A hitch hiker or almajiri? |

Property acquired before marriage is personal except one chooses to make it marital property willingly. But any acquired after marriage belong to the couple regardless of who's money bought it. It's a joint effort after the marriage. You can't insist she turns her personal props into marital prop. And vice versa |

First of all. The answer is NO. But How does that address the issue of polygamy? You're only asking me if I'd marry for money. because if it were strictly about polygamy, why not ask me if I'd marry some joe out there with nothing to his name and one or two wives already in a union with him. If I say yes to adenuga and say no to jack it is not because I'm fine with polygamy but because I'm greedy and just want the money. MrOlai: On a more serious note now. If Adenuga, the billionaire owner of GLO or Dangote approaches you with marriage proposal now, with the promise of buying separate mansions for you in Ikoyi, V.I. or Banana Island coupled with other good things of life like Ferrari, Lincoln Navigator, Buggati Veron, etc, with monthly allowance of #5,000,000, won't you accept the proposal?
Pls, YES or NO? |

MrOlai: Census data aside now. Look around you wherever you are. Don't you have many single marriageable women around you, who cannot find husbands even though you may have many single men around?
What about widows especially young widows of around 25 or 30 years? All these are the surplus women we are talking about. Same way I see many single marriageable guys. And widowers too. Who will marry these young boys abi dem no good to marry? You don't have a point. |

Sh0llypopz: Cool.
What are your own conclusions/feelings about the thread? Was there a previous thread before this?
@Shymm3x: Why should I leave the thread? No one is capable of scalping me here, I'm *gud. There wasn't really a previous thread dedicated this issue. It was a thread about something else that got derailed into this. Hence the creating of this one to avoid further derailing that one. On the matter, Well I'd have preferred if the stuff got to the authorities. Because I Believe credit card fraud is a big deal. But when it started those of us asking for it to be reported were hushed by the accused' friends. She was told that we would back down in supporting her when things go south and she'd be left alone to face the music. She was adviced to rather seek settlement. Which she did. I'm surprised it has been turned around to make it look like there's a cover up going on somewhere. My take is that if the accuser is fine with settlement, then it alright. It's her life. At least she spoke up. Many didn't agree to speak up due to their image protection and they expect her to take him down alone? So let her do as her strength can carry her. If it's to muzzle some of her money out of him. Then fine. I've adviced her to save any evidence that can exonerate or prove her innocence should it eventually get to the authorities or should the tables turn. Apart from that the whole thread is just another NL field day of abuse and counter abuse. People like amebo and that's what the almost 100 pages is mostly about. Gist and gossip. |
