Maybe she broke up with you at first because she wants sex?

If you guys are really going to do the no sex relationship? Why not just go ahead and get married so you don’t keep her waiting any longer?

grin grin grin

Because we are the weaker vessels. Big large vessels to store all the tears these men are shedding every minute.
YorubaPrince:
But, why is it that it's majorly guys that come on here to complain and rant abt their women? huh

They cry, wail and do stuff like sissies all the time. Why don't the ladies do the same on here?

WTF? angry

Learn emotional detachment. Not easy though. But we'll worth the effort.
Emotional detachment from your own husband ke?

How’s that possible?

After spending so many years with someone, they become a part of you and if you lose them, it like losing a part of you. There’s no emotional detachment from that.
Family › Re: What's Your Biggest Fear About Marriage? by cococandy(f): 7:25am On Nov 19, 2019
So you were responding to a post you don’t understand because you saw something that triggered you?

Why didn’t you use your sense to read the post I was replying to and understand why I told him that. If you really don’t subscribe to infidelity, you should first have a problem with his post before mine. (Many of you only have a problem with it when you’re on the receiving end)

Take your selective morality and go quote someone else.

MedicH:
If you're making a bold statement that a wife should cheat and have kids with other women then it shows truly that's normal with you and u don't tag me with that hipocrisy term because i dont subscribe to infidelity so that std wont do me under or eat my finance.

Everybody complaining about marriage should strive to raise kids with good upbringing against all odds but then u can't give what u lack.
Family › Re: What's Your Biggest Fear About Marriage? by cococandy(f): 7:08am On Nov 19, 2019
MedicH:
What's the matter with cheat and have kids with other men are you not ashamed of yourself bringing it up? Is that the marriage norm now?
Why aren’t you asking the male posters why they think cheating is okay for them? I guess that’s normal in your opinion but you get an aneurysm when the shoe is on the other foot. Asking me if it’s the norm. You have common sense. You figure out what’s normal and what’s not.

Hypocrites.
Swerve please
Family › Re: What's Your Biggest Fear About Marriage? by cococandy(f): 6:37am On Nov 19, 2019
You never start.
She will cheat and have kids for other men as well.

What’s good for the goose....

Your entitlement is mind numbing. To think you even believe you deserve all this.

Another man fvcking my wife

To my future wife out there please and please if u know you'll tag me an animal for laying hands on you don't do these Four below

Losing my husband to death.

Don’t mind them. They’ve retired “Linda Ikeji” and they’ve taken up another supposed feminist hypocrite. Glory’s shtick was that of a financially successful
CEO that is a feminist. She never revealed her private life and she never claimed to be single. However, because people don’t think it’s possible for a feminist to be a successful married woman, some people decided to cry foul.

The irony, the real hypocrisy that they should’ve focused on was that she was probably not that successful, the businesses she ran with her husband were exposed as fraud, allegedly
.
From what I’ve seen that’s true. I’ve been called a hypocrite because I’m a feminist who likes to cook for my family . But what can you say when folks INTENTIONALLY decide to misunderstand.

@bold shocked shocked Now that part is worth talking about.
Have they been arrested for fraud?

Well I don’t know the specifics of this case. It’s almost fourth hand knowledge seeing as it’s your colleague’s friend.

Unless your colleague’s friend was in an unhealthy or abusive marriage, there’s no feminist advice that can break it.My point is that feminists are not the boogeymen

But I’m glad she became an adult and took responsibility for her own life and decisions.

You’re right about the bold. And that’s really applicable to any kind of human relationship.
ImaIma1:
.

She was given the women liberation advice. Advice that would only incite rebellion and strong headedness in her husband, making her life difficult.

There are ways to get a husband to do things for his wife, bend to her will, etc. Being stubborn is not part of iy.

Don’t be sucked into the trap. Feminist advice is always good advice. Unless it’s not feminist advice.

If a woman gives you bad advice, it doesn’t mean it’s feminist advice. That’s what folks who dislike gender equality want you to believe.

ImaIma1:
There are so many people like this. And ladies will listen to them and start living their lives that way not knowing she's a scam.

My colleague just gisted me today of a friend that almost ruined her marriage because of feminist advice from her friends. And so she refused to wash her husband's plates when he finished eating. She used to tell him to go wash his plate and a whole lot of other things.

Long story short, an older and wiser woman advised her, she dropped those friends and things changed at home. The truth is that most of those advisers do the opposite of what they say you should do.

Had some friends over for fufu, okra and oxtail stew.

The kids were picky of course. So rice and pasta on the side for the picky eaters.

We started with a side salad and wine and ended with my signature brownies topped with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce.

Well how many MiLs have you had? It’s just another baseless statistics and fear mongering.

But in a situation where all that drama doesn’t apply, I guess my point was that an old MIL who can’t do chores can still be desirable company based on other factors. In that case, you might need her presence.

Old moms and MIL aren’t only good for chores.

Mizwisdom:
It's rare to see one that will offer such they mostly tend to contest for love and attention from their son and the DIL is mostly the villain trying to take her child away but if she's mature enough to offer emotional support of course I will love to have her over often.

Lol. Okay

The one that broke up with her BF was definitely not happy in the relationship to begin with.
If she was happy, an internet person’s opinion won’t matter to her.

bukatyne:
I did not know her either till my friend told me the story and I read her up.

So she was 'independent' successful single woman who told ladies that they could do without a man bla bla bla.

She told them not to take trash, or compromise bla bla bla

Mwanwhile, madam was secretly married to her business partner.

She seemed to have built an image as one of these popular women speakers like Invictus kind of thingy.

Who’s Glory Ossie? I feel like I live in a cave.

Anyway I always tell folks no two homes are alike. Do what works for you as long as everyone is happy. No rigid rules as far as I’m concerned.

But folks want to be told what do and how to lives their lives.
bukatyne:
True, that's another angle.

All these audio children sef.

Just that some airheads really take these people seriously and run their lives with it.

When Glory Ossei's story broke, someone in my friend's colleague's office was weeping that she broke up with her BF because of Glory Ossei.
