Family › Re: Can A Man Sue His Wife In Nigeria If Child’s Paternity Test Comes Back Negative? by cococandy(f): 11:17am On Nov 18, 2019
Anyone can sue anyone.I’m sure you can sue in Nigeria.

Whether you win or not will then depend on the circumstances of the case. (In Nigeria, he might most likely win).

Also note that there may not be any incentive for the man to sue unless his wife is rich and can compensate him financially. Otherwise what would be the point of the court case, the attorney fees, and trips to and fro the courthouse? if he’s only going to end up as he would without the court case.

Because once he proves the child is not his via a DNA test, he can just file for a divorce and he doesn’t have to pay any child support. What’s suing the wife going to do for him? Like I said, unless she has money to give him there’s no incentive for that.

all Igbo here says the same like him. many have blames Lola for psquare split and this speak low of Igbo men
all igbos? How do you know that everyone who spoke against the marriage is Igbo and those who didn’t aren’t Igbo?

how will a lady split brothers, isn't that weakening of Igbo men
I would agree with you (as I already do) but you would be too wrapped up in your attack mode to even notice that I was agreeing with you.

You were making sense and I was liking your post until you started being tribalistic too.

Tribalism helps no one.
9gerian:
Yes the main problem is that she is Yoruba. I wonder what would have happened if the late mum had let the love between Peter and Lola take a natural cause without interference. Maybe the brothers would not have inherited the bile and struggle. And perhaps the psquare brand would have remained and waxed stronger.

It is noteworthy that when the duo were using her resources to ascend to stardom, it didn’t matter that she was Yoruba.

The same trait can be observed generally amongst most of their people. They demand love when at the receiving end but sow hatred at the slightest opportunity of having an upper hand or say.

For example, look at how they gush at Davido’s queenly treatment of Chioma. Then picture that Davido was Igbo and Chioma Yoruba. The matter “for no end” with hatred and constant debasement of the Yoruba Lady.

Just look around and you’ll see more examples of who and how majority of them are.

Lola.....

The quiet devil..... Schemer and perfecter of broken family.

Exactly same thing Okoye mother saw how her family will be torn apart by external forces.

Who could Imagine that a family, blood and twin could be torn apart by a mere woman.... daughter of Philistines

Continue to pray for Peter until he realizes his mistake and tow the path of wisdom and maybe by then the spell will be off his eyes

Maybe you should consider praying for yourself
Celebrities › Re: Peter Okoye And Wife, Lola, Celebrate 6th Wedding Anniversary (pics) by cococandy(f): 10:37am On Nov 18, 2019
She is a bad woman, yet she makes him happy.
Try to explain that to yourself. Ask yourself if his personal happiness is not a good enough reason for him to be with the woman he loves rather than the one you folks want for him.

They will celebrate 20 years of marriage and you people will still be in your homes wishing them ill and hoping they fail.

Forumobserver12:
Nobody from Okoye's family has ever complain about the woman ethnicity rather she was accused of being divisdivisive manipulative.

Some ethnic bigots are trying so hard to change the narrative that she was being victimised because she's not Igbo.

Unfortunately a lot of family are facing same marital challenge, even those that married their own village woman, if you are a bad woman you are a bad woman, it doesn't matter where you come from, though this is not to say that Lola is a bad woman because I don't her personally....

NwaAmaikpe:
shocked

They've said I'm a heartless dead soul who feels no empathy and only wishes people bad, but it is time to prove them wrong.

I won't further increase the sorrow of late Mrs Josephine Okoye whose dying wish was for this union not to exist by wishing them a happy anniversary.
In fact, for the love of family, I pray Peter wakes up one morning and walks away from this woman who has not only torn down the Psquare empire but has cracked the unity of a once indivisible dynasty.

This is one couple I don't wish well.
This is not because I think Peter is the weaklink of the Okoye chain or because he has proven to be the prodigal one but only because of my conscience.

A conscience I will never want to lose.
Tribalism will be the end of you all

Were you there to know she was destroying the family?

Don’t believe everything you read from the internet. If you didn’t see it with your two eyes, wear a cap of skepticism.

igboamakaaa:
I don't think they are angry because Lola (a Yoruba woman) married Peter (an Igbo man). I think it's because out of all the good Yoruba women he chose the bad egg amongst them. A good wife irrespective of tribe unites a family not divides it.

About David's ish, don't you know davido's mum is was an Igbo woman too? And comparing the character traits of all the other baby mamas in davido's life with chioma's character won't you say he made the best choice of a wife.

Women are a formidable force on earth. They can build and destroy anything, anyone or any Nation. All the mighty men and Kings in the Bible were destroyed by women. David, Solomon, Samson, King Ahab e.t.c

Did you get formally diagnosed with the peptic ulcer? Or you just think you have it based on your symptoms?

If you don’t have a formal diagnosis, you need to get one. It may not be what you think it is.

LOWLIFER:
I don't care and I am giving you more attention than deserved. If you are in my shoe homeless ,squatting and miserable, maybe you would have long given up. Not everyone is cowardly like you. I have had suicide thoughts since 2018, and with my current adversity , the thought is blooming in my head. It doesn't mean I don't want to live but the pain, troubles are too overwhelming for me. Tomorrow is not even certain. How best can you advise an orphan whose major burden is taking care of his siblings with meagre or no resources, while relatives looks on like we are not part of the family. The humiliation, provocation and pain is too much to swallow. I am just a shadow of what I used to be. I am currently fighting peptic ulcer where I feel pain in my chest and at my back. I am the subject here and I know how hopeless and tired I am. I want to live but maybe venting my heart out might help. Everything happening is so overwhelming, and at 26, this is never what I bargained for....

You are missing a lot. Retrain your taste buds tongue
If not for cakes and some of these things that must require sugar, I don't use sugar in my house. I have so much adjusted to it that if the only option is with sugar, I will rather not drink at all grin
Good thing I’m not a huge fan of cake like my DH or I’d be in trouble.

If it’s something that normally uses sugar, I can’t eat without sugar. I do need to retrain my tongue.
You’re right.

I guess you're right. But I simply can't reconcile how a mother would do this. Even with mental health issues.
Mothers have been known to kill their children in the past.

In this case, one can’t even dismiss the possibility of postpartum depression adding to the imbalance that’s obviously already in place. It’s a recipe for disaster.
