Hello Everyone, I don't know if this is the right place to post this but I hope I get some answers.

I didn't use my external hard drive for a while and it sort of gathered dust. Cleaned it up some days ago and tried to use it but its not loading on my PC. The indicator light is showing but isn't blinking as it usually does. The light is just steady but the PC isn't loading the device. I need to know whats wrong and if it can be fixed as I am so empty without my hard drive.

I went to my computer and checked the systems menu but only my Internal hard drive and CD ROM is detected.

I am yet to see the ways from your post
