Litmus:
Thank you.

Large percent of those that do this "persecuting" of Nigerians are not Nigerians. And Persecution is what it is and nothing to do with political affiliations. They throw in anti Tinubu or anti Buhari rhetoric to make it seem like politics. What has attacking Nurses from Nigeria working abroad to do with Tinubu? What has indirectly supporting the social and racial politics being played in the UK by those that want less African nurses and more Indian nurses, got to do with Tinubu ?

Bitter and jealous Africans from elsewhere, masquerading under Opposition Politics, to nitpick and chew away at all areas of reputed Nigerians excellence. Taking advantage of our own very real and rotten Opposition Politics culture!
no mind them.

The process of vetting nurses are clear.
The process it expensive and tedious.

Wetin them wan talk. Which fake?

If there is dake then it’s from the Uk side because everything about nigeria vetting of nurses can be verified.

All this rubbish Dey vex me.

I beat my chest anywhere that Nigerian nurses and doctors are better than the rest.

And it’s Nigerians that encourage some of this wahala.

Bro na you no get the point for your talk, your question no even make sense because even the dumbest person know how these things affect the economy, but typical Agbadorians would never want to take responsibility for the mess they made, rather they push the blame to someone else.

You using buhari to justify the Problems we are facing now under Tinubus government does not even hold water. Its like saying your girlfriend cheated in her past relationships and got dumped ,now she is with you and she cheats again while dating you and someone will now blame her ex that dumped her then for cheating on you NOW,instead of holding her accountable for cheating while dating you now. Does that make sense?that is exactly what you are doing here.
how does relationship equate to fiscal monetary policies?

It’s all about policies.. use simple forex trading for example.

What is subsidy?
Why did FG subsidize it?
Now they stop, how does subsidy affect Nigerian economy?

Abeg explain make I hear!?
Abeg teach me what I don’t know with my level of education.

I sell food in my area for 5000, dues to poverty, I subsidize 2500 out and sell at 2500.

So if I decide to remove subsidy, and sell at 2500, how does that affect the economy, or the market value of Naira?

If you don’t know something ask questions? Stop arguing boldly when you don’t know,….

Also study the floating of Naira and understand what it means

Don't deceive yourself...

There is nothing to be surprised about..

The floating of naira and removal of subsidy is going to take us even further than this..

We have always lacked industries and imported..

There is nothing we are importing that is highly unnecessary..
.
More than 45% of our Forex goes into importing refined petroleum..is that unnecessary?..no

What bulaba should have done is ensure all refineries.both Dangote and NNPC are running first...and invest into our oil industry to pump enough oil to cater for these local refineries and still export to maintain our meagre Forex inflows..

This will automatically save up 45% of our reserves..
dangote self dey work against nigeria

Baba...na u no understand Nigeria economy..
Two problem with this country is that We are a nation dangerously reliant on imports and the government is heavily stealing our foreign earnings

Mention anything goods in Nigeria....including what we produce here and I will show u one or two stages of the production chain that is dependent on imports(dollar)

. Even our local farming rely on fertilizers that is imported.. in 2022 alone Nigeria imported over 300 million dollars worth of fertilizers....

Immediately the government stopped subsidizing the naira... I.e floating it...the naira went to its original value....and importers of foods and other goods we use started bringing goods at expensive rate ...

Manufactures who rely on imported materials in their supply chain also add to increase cost of goods...e.g bread, local rice, chicken, eggs

Go to countries like Kuwait and Oman...they don't produce anything like Nigeria and use imported good alot.. but they use their foreign earnings tru crude oil to stabilize their exchange rate to the same unit as pounds....there by helping their importers to bring in food at cheaper rate..

Imagine the exchange rate being 1naira to one pound....things will be cheap...Thats how Oman's currency is...

No nation should live without subsidy of major goods ......it's how the government help to manage price....and not let the economy go haywire..

Azerbaijan, Georgia, Tunisia even pays subsidy on flour...to keep price of bread, burgers pizza and bread related food at the minimum...

Baba..we are too heavily dependent on imports... Once u significantly fvck with exchange rate like it's happening now.....it will cause problem...we are not ready for floating...

The bad part is they clueless clowns floated the naira and expecting the economy to fix itself.....they ddnt channel the money they saved to subsidize other raw materials that will promote local manufacturers to produce goods we need......

... Dey are playing or they are just wicked...
that’s what I mean in summary.

Floating the naira or subsidy should not ruin us like this.

Rather it’s the lack of indigenous businesses and wickedness of some. We are importing unnecessary
Politics › Re: Budget, Agriculture Ministers Fault Subsidy Removal, Floating Of Naira by Codes151(m): 6:21pm On Feb 09, 2024
It’s now I know northerners know nothing about economy.

How does economy worsen or fall due to subsidy removal?

How does floating of naira destroy economy. ??

Make una Dey read before commenting.

Floating of naira should not be this devastating unless there are people hoarding foreign currencies.

Maybe if you guys start putting value to things in naira we won’t be so dependent on dollars that you don’t know how them Dey print am
