Politics › Re: Oil Can’t Feed Nigeria Anymore – Obasanjo by CodeTemplar: 12:11pm On Dec 05, 2022
So true.
We have relegated what can feed us to a last resort profession practised by frustrated individuals and looked down up by all.

Buhari is so busy trying to reshape the oil to favour some people even more.

The ghost of the PDP era corruption is still hovering over the country. Still, some people want to bring back PDP to continue this kind of criminal and mindless robbery of the country. Smh!
ghost of PDP era corruption but physical effect of APC era corruption. Keep shut sir.

Have the people themselves changed?

Go to UK, US and see Nigerians actively involved in crime as their vocation.

Are we the only country with poor people?

Why do we excuse crime by saying "when those at the top are stealing"?

Nigerians are responsible for their own plight.

When Nigerians act right, the leaders would act right.

When innovation and creativity become the maxim of the society, it will permeate all sectors including leadership.
Those criminal Nigerians started mostly from here. We read not too long ago a BBC article about a certain Nigeria founded cult group that controls billions of dollars in funds. They started from here and bad leadership failed us. Bad leadership from govt and lack of moral inclination from the homes breed those battalion of criminals spoiling the nations name.
Many big brands today started with partnership but here in Africa we seem more interested in partnering to destroy the world. Partnership is more likely to end up in backstabbing for a black folk.
The bible says where 1 shall put a thousand to flight, 2 shall put ten thousand to flight.

The citizen who are not paid to enforce laws are bound to fraternize to achieve evil goals, but when the leadership put in place are compromised and only loyal to unseen forces only interested in capturing more souls, no good should be expected.

You said it all.
But you know what, Nigerians deserve what they get, they never learn. We warned about buhari, did they hear? Same Nigerians want to vote Tinubu or Atiku, we are warning again, but they will not hear. No be juju be that?. You talk but they insult you, next thing all your phone calls are from same folks asking for one assistance to the other. You give once, the following day, the same person ask you for another, when you block their numbers, you become enemy. Meanwhile it is just the same management we are all going through only some manage their affairs better.
This matter is more than local politics o. Even in Anambra the wind is blowing there.

It's the duty of the governor to keep his state in a peaceful and condusive environment.

Or what are the jobs of governors?
Is it just collecting salaries?
Governors are meant to look inward and generate new source of income instead of waiting for allocations
so Buhari finalized acquisition of 9 tucanos to fight a battle Borno was meant to fight. Yet no state police. Clap for yourself.

Buhari has done well ... this I can defend .
well indeed.

BH is now all over the north and no longer in Borno. A terrorist now openly taunts the Nigerian army(Turgi Bello). Farmers now pay 10 to 30 million before harvesting. They get slaughtered too while harvesting.
I am sure Buhari is blameless to you in all of these insecurity inspired challenged. Only the governors are at fault when they cannot have state police.

The FG can't protect farmers or small businesses owners, the state on the other hand are just feeding of the FG and don't generate any IGR of significance.

Thank Govt for education subsidy. If you were in Canada or UK as a student under student loan or you had to hustle to pay bills, that 16 hours of studying would have been impossible to achieve.
Also remember to give back to the society that subsidized your acquisition of that knowledge and not JAPA in fees years time.

Let me also appeal to govt of Buhari, to tell kidnappers to stay away from her type. Herdsmen too. Bandits too.

Serves Germany right. Next time you don't mix sports with moral politics.
Rudiger disappointed me the most. The niggar who is regarded as a monkey and yet treated less than one should know that LGBT drives down human population or breeds extinction. That makes the outnumbered black race at highest risk of extiction but the illuminati gladiators don't see that due the blindness Satan has imposed on them.

I blame the commercial scammers called banks those people bank with. If your commercial bank takes your transaction history into account and give you a small loan is that bad?

Imagine a young hustler approaches them for a 500k loan and they fustrate them away, but a 'big' man who is owing them like N10 billion will get a marketer assigned to satisfy him for the fear of losing their money if he dies of work stress.

Banking industry, very unbalanced industry!

when you were all condemning ASUU during the strike, now they have handed over the fight to you, make sure FG reduces the fees, las las FG go drag you to court like they did to ASUU.
The battle has to be shifted away from the FG to the main beneficiary, the students, because FG has refused to yield to ASUU demand directly.

Nigerians and entitlement mentality...those students should know that tertiary education is not compulsory...the law only recognises 6 years primary and 3 years junior secondary as compulsory.

If those going to study with contemporary universities abroad can dole out between 12 - 15 million for masters programme of just one year plus such little increase in tuition fee in Nigeria shouldn't generate such baseless protests..the universities need such funds to augment their running costs afteral the effects of inflation cuts across all strata of life.

Such meaningless protests and agitations alongside other government inconsistent policies are at the very core of our universities inability to rank favourably amongst their peers globally.
The students are ignorant of what goes into their education from govt on the average. If govt is already paying N500k for each student every year and have refused funding the system further, commonsense from school administration dictates that they ask a little more from the student.
The problem here is the little more being asked of from the student looks big(100%) because hitherto, govt has paid the bulk of the fee silently, leaving student with the impression that their own contribution of less than 10% is what funds their education wholly.
Don't forget these same students, use expensive cars and phones even if not all of them.
Education is not a short term investment and needs detailed breakdown to know who and who pays what.

OP japaed with poor professional background. Abroad is not for everybody. If you studied one humanity course or you do not have atleast a Master degree, you either upscale yourself or remain a factory worker doing 16 hours. In Canada for example you have Chinese, some of the best of India and many eastern Asians. It is not Nigeria that you use kparapo and who you know. It is what you know. So, if you must move, be prepared.
So true. Which mumu will hand his hard earned fund to one third world certified accountant when white guys abound? Only in areas where they are pressed is where one can easily plug in. Areas like medicine, gealth, industry engineering, communication, media.
