We cannot say the police is overstretched when most of them are carrying handbags of VIPs. Block the leakages first then check if they look overstretched.

Crime too needs capital. If you reason Yahoo, laptop, modem, and subscription cost can be expensive. If robbery, guns too cost money. Why not try farming this coming planting season.
And if you remain adamant about doing anything for money, be ready for anything to do you.

Sports › Re: Cristiano Ronaldo Has Now Scored Against All Serie A Teams by CodeTemplar: 4:01pm On Feb 23, 2021
NwaAmaikpe:
shocked

Ronaldo is the greatest footballer ever and there ever will be.

There's no one I see to fill his gigantic shoes.
Erling Haaland is only a specialist in scoring allowed offside goals, Kylian Mbappe is just an sprinter who manages to score, Messi is an opportunist who is helpless without his aides.
But Ronaldo is all all-rounded, well-grounded soccer maestro.

No comparison with him should ever exist.
You call someone who hardly assist others all rounded. May be you meant all rounded in the way he scores with right foot, left foot, the head and penalties.

It is same story for all states, just in varying extent.
Politics › Re: Hijab Crisis: Kwara Is Muslim State, Take Your Mission Schools To Rivers - MURIC by CodeTemplar:
Tranquility4u:
I see no reason why Muslim students should be denied
their constitutional rights.

All Muslim students, in particular, female students should be allowed to dress in Hijab since these schools are for the public.

“Are the schools not grant-aided? So you want to use
public money to persecute Muslim children until they
submit to forceful conversion? Even if they are
missionary schools, must they force female Muslim
students to strip? We are not surprised because it is
part of their old way of forceful conversion. Nigerian
Christians should desist from using Muslim children to
subject their parents to psychological trauma. We will
not go back to slavery. Enough is enough.
Can I walk into a mosque naked because govt funded it? Use your brain. It is govt aided and not govt sponsored. Next thing you will say is that every school that got covid palliative is govt aided and open to hijab nonsense. Does military use hijab?

Sure you didn't think about this menace when you were supporting APC in 2015?
This is 2018 news.
You need to know that pushing PDP out doesn't equate to installing APC. there are other parties and candidates out there. Stop being a bad loser.
Politics › Re: Tollgates To Return As FG Grants Individuals Licence To Build, Maintain Highways by CodeTemplar: 1:05pm On Feb 23, 2021
USBILAL:
It is on social media you see people talking about what they don't know. Places where there were tall gate are still called tall gate despite there are no more. People sound as if there were never tall gates in the north.
Let it be as frequent as those in the south.

Politics › Re: Tollgates To Return As FG Grants Individuals Licence To Build, Maintain Highways by CodeTemplar: 12:39pm On Feb 23, 2021
Taxation is part of any system and therefore this isn't a bad idea. I hope they take the tollgates to the north also unlike before. As for the licence for private roads and tollgates. It is long overdue. People already build wooded bridges in Lagos to link small communities and charge driver using the bridges.
Politics › Re: Isa Yuguda: Fulani Are Being Treated Unfairly In Nigeria by CodeTemplar: 11:06am On Feb 23, 2021
Trash!
1. His claim about providing us with one million cows is flawed because the people eating those meats pay for them. If I pay for it, then I can always choose who to buy from.

2. As for the subsidy of farm inputs, under ranching they can have their animal feed subsidized too as against subsiding only cow business and leaving other animal breeders to buy feed. That's not subsidy but a competitive advantage that's anti market. They did it with Dangote.

Politics › Re: Sheikh Gumi: Boko Haram Will Soon Infiltrate Killer-Herdsmen, Bandits by CodeTemplar: 10:56am On Feb 23, 2021
Seun:
He literally said that the government knows where the bandits are, because of aerial surveillance, but they are afraid that going in guns blazing as they did before will escalate the situation.
...but won't escalate the ESN or Amotekun situation right? Let's face the harsh reality, the govt is the one permitting any nonsense the so called terrorists or bandits are doing. Collateral damage in form of innocent lives can be reduced by helping some of the victims raise their ransom just before raiding their hide outs. If they could rain bullets on Obigbo to flush out IPOBs while endangering innocent people they can incure some collateral damages.
Crime › Re: We Saw Hell In Captivity — Freed Niger Passengers by CodeTemplar: 10:37am On Feb 23, 2021

“Their ammunition is out of this world. I’d never seen that kind of arms before in my life. They’ve different kinds of assorted weapons.”

Yet they want to tell us they are poor people. If they so poor and used to have legit businesses in the past, let them sell their "out of this world" ammunitions and start business, but no, they won't like that because they are just aiming for amnesty.

Taxation is part of any economy that hopes to prosper. They are so used to oil money doing everything for them and see a token of N100 as extortion. How much do the they make as profit daily after fuel and daily depreciation estimate of their tricycles?
