I stayed long for PH, ObiAkpor, Sapele so you cant tell me about MEND. Their demand is specific. How do you give NON-NIGERIAN Bandits and terrirists amnesty? Does it make sense to your very self?

Christianity Etc › Re: Bishop Oyedepo Hugs Pastor Adeboye As His Wife, Faith Oyedepo Kneels by CodeTemplar: 9:05am On Mar 05, 2021
festacman:
A beautiful sight to behold.

Looking at Bishop Oyedepo just reminded me of a story Pastor Tunde Bakare once told about their encounter. Bakare disagreed with the content of one of Oyedepo's numerous books and tore it live on national TV during his program. Later, he ran into Oyedepo at an airport who confronted him for daring to shred his book on TV. Bakare looked him in the eyes and told him pointedly that he tore his own book he bought with his own money and not Oyedepo's book. Oyedepo was speechless for a moment and then moved on without saying anything further. Lawyers don't disappoint even when they are pastors.
He tore his own copy. Now he should follow that up with the Quran since he probably disagrees with its content.
I was expecting to hear how he made corrections to the parts he didn't understand or disagreed with but heard nothing. Empty drama that left the underlying issue with no logical conclusion.

Transitioning to clean energy would be very difficult for any 3rd World Country, not just Africa.
I have to agree. I see corruption at the top of the list of the things that will impede the adoption of renewable energy in Africa.
It will come in form of greedy politicians hijacking the projects and inflating its already huge capital for profit to make it less attractive for those buying the final energy generated. Just like power sector privatization.
God bless you Amaechi.
We have been saying this from Day One.
But hypocrites and children of hate, frustrations and perdition will always wail and develop sudden migraine reading the bitter truth.

We will say our prayer that May God punish and destroy anyone sponsoring terrorism, violence and chaos in our nation, but you will never see anyone of them say a simple AMEN to the prayer.
Why?
Cos they know themselves.
Abi, who wan die ?!
An attack on terrorist is an attack on the north now.

contigiency:
Oga, I don't know how resource control will stop a born thief from stealing or make greedy people to stop looting of his people's recourses. The last time I check, the following; ministry of Niger delta, NDDC, 13% derivative, Amnesty program, 3% of oil companies annual profits etc were created several years now and have being managed by Niger Delta indigens. Yet, I did not see how it made them to think better and use the recourses being channelled to the above mentioned areas and put their region or states better.
Of course you won't see it. If they money for amnesty to killers and terrorist being muted was to come from zamfara's resources, I am sure the people won't sit down idly and watch the future blown away on the alter politics.
The ND has partial resource control in a sense because some percentage of their explored resource comes back to them but are still stuck with all the bad effects of laws targeted at exploiting their resources. Governors still have immunity if I am not mistaken. Will that be the case if we funded govt wholly by tax from sweat? You mean zamfara farmer will toil to pay taxes and at the end of the day, governors will become unquestionable overnight billionaires with properties in Arab and Europe? I don't think that will happen if they have local resource control laws. Can the ND people revolt as things stand without the threat of the FG interfering in the local issues?
Education › Re: Senate Moves To Create University Of Health And Medical Sciences In Suleja by CodeTemplar: 3:08am On Mar 04, 2021
When you consider the shortage in medically inclined grads, this is a good idea, especially if admission into it isn't by quota. Why force a potential and aspiring doctor into medical lab science or bio chemistry or even accounting?; Let them go to a medical only school that's well equipped and let's have more of what we crucially need as against saturating the labour market with accountants and lawyers we already have enough of_?

When will they create engineering and science uni?

If resource control was properly done, there won't be need for preventing against gold for arms swap. Let delta explore her oil and pay taxes, only then will jigawa and kebbi start making truly pro-people laws and moves to create equality and fairness in a bid to attract inflow of skilled hands that can move them forward. Only then will the best brain dominate admission list and not the most connected kids.
This our institutionalized stealing arrangement is why zamfara man will be killing his people to access oil money.

The parasites were exposed. The painful thing is that the farmers and middlemen who will be affected by this fooólish move most are not the abokis who caused chaos in Oyo state. They are just forcing solidarity down the throat of innocent farmers and suppliers.
I can imagine the 'bandits' in forests turning into overnight intranational smugglers.

As a parting shot, will they be able to take their produce to other countries if there was a corresponding blockade of tankers from Lagos heading north?
