Politics › Re: What My Father Taught Me About Biafra And My Heritage by CodeTemplar: 6:44am On Jan 28, 2021
Your father should have told you that starvation stories are myth.

Out of greed and lack of knowledge of the money system, a currency was declared and its value inflated in a bid to outsmart those Biafra was in economic contact with. That led to nobody wanting to do business with a currency that could only be spent in a pending nation that had zero production of goods or services. If Biafra had kept production alive, they could have bypassed the money system and used their substances to meet crucial needs.
The painful thing is Biafrans of then are still embracing this fragile economic model. Can those Biafra mainstream business and dominated sectors meet crucial needs during a war and border lockdown?
Can electrical parts seller, electronics seller, building material sellers turn their merchandise into crucial needs of an isolated nation if there is a repeat of that war today?

Politics › Re: 7 Things You Need To Know About Fg’s N5,000 Cash Transfer To The Poor by CodeTemplar: 8:07pm On Jan 27, 2021
The logic of poorest of the poor is a daft one.

Tax return would have been a fairer criteria for sharing relief. It is grossly unfair that someone who has been paying taxes in Lagos and is suddenly out of job with no income would be overlooked for someone in Zamfara or Katsina who cannot be unemployed because is a farmer with excess land.

Let the unemployed females and males in the house team up and buy off a bag from the man and process it themselves.
They don't have the money to do that, only the housemaster has the power to do that and delay payment in exchange for more funds into his household.

First, you must know that I am not countering your opinion. But I also must let you know that, beyond being in the industry, I am also a Research Student in one of the Premier Universities I mentioned. I have been into research and publication for about 5 years through which I have carried out (and carrying out) my advanced degree.

I worked with, referred to, and reviewed a lot of leading research works in Engineering (Materials) from local researchers and I if I must state in fact, then I must say that, Covenant university has not had any mention in any citable work that worth the salt. That is my own observation.
You are a daft liar.

Half baked literate
What are the best Universities in the world you mentioned? How do students pay their fees? How much did majority of their students pay for primary and secondary Education?

You read all these books without understanding simple things in front of your face.

Education in the responsibility of Government. The half backed education you received should not be based on the money In your fathers pocket or social connectionS.

Every Nigerian child deserves quality education.
UK has 98% Literacy Rate with fantastic student loan system and NHS that works but Your oversabi.... Please

Even after your small research, you struggle to understand simple UBE concept, how do I explain Universal Credit and why your life should be more valuable than cattle??
Hate has so much consumed you, you contradicted your hateful self without realizing it. If the UK has a loan system then it means they are being educated on credit and not for free.

Theoutsider:
LOL.. you seem to have a problem with private schools.
Universal basic anything is bad... government do not provide the best schools... private schools do.
Those schools in the UK that are public, majority of the students are from private primary schools same with Japan and China. The chance of public school students getting in are low because private schools equal best teachers. All the schools you talk about you STILL have to pay tuition so they are not TRUE UBE schools donkey lips. They are public schools that only well off parents with money can put their kids in.

Same with hospitals. Private hospitals are far better than government own hospitals.

You seem not to get it.. governments can only pay for so much... you are focused on one or two universities that the government spends majority of it money on to look good on the global stage while they put little to no money in schools that really need money.

You simple can not see the forest beyond the trees.. simpleton.
Thank you. Anything public is always tilted towards equality. They are structured to carry along as many people as possible. That means the tax you pay and the one the man next door couldn't pay because of low income is used to fund your child's education and the next man's child's. That brings quality and cost of accessing the education down. That's why our public schools have to depend on crab mentality to boost their public ratings. They do it by denying some brilliant students their grade in the hope that when they go for further studies, they will appear to be performing above their grade level. The primary purpose of education gets easily defeated in the process.

My guy don't fool urself
Dem no reason u be4 dem build these universities

U're a lower class
And ur pastor no send u
Keep lauding their multi million projects
Then come deh blame govt for u being unfortunate
You need to stop talking senselessly about 'what u pay' and realize what students pay in both private and public universities is a function of what they end up consuming and what other parties pay on their behalf. If fees paid by students was used to influence the rating of schools then be rest assured that no american university will rank above abia state uni or Benue state uni, gboko campus...lol. The principle of pricing for non profit services is simple. All the components used to facilitate that service are bundled into the final cost before the one receiving the service is made to pay for it. Public schools get hundreds of billions of funding annually. Private has to shift that part to the beneficiaries of the services they offer - the students. That alone can account for a difference of about 500k in difference in fees of private and public unis.

You see that's the problem we have in Nigeria , I was old enough to buy things by myself, go to school by myself, so I know the purchasing power of the average Nigerian, what you should know is, the level of poverty of the average Nigerian was way better back then compared to now, yes there are more industries now, but did that reduce the level of poverty, No it did not, did the inflation rate increase since after abacha's regime, yes and it never came down, I'm not justyfying abacha's government either but I'm only saying what I observed, Nigerians were not complaining of hunger during abacha's time, they only complained of tyranny and oppression, Nigerians started complaining of hunger during OBJ's time and it has increased from then till now, the truth is when the system of government changed the government became very expensive to run coupled with excessive looting from a multiplied number of persons in office unlike abacha's time when it was restricted to only him and a few of his clicks, then the multiplied number of people in office in a democratic system 99.99 percent of them were visionless for over 20 years and counting till we get it right, you can imagine the poverty that has grown since then, so whats the difference, size of governance and restricted looting, I'm not saying the solution to the country's problem but that's what made abacha's government better than all the governments since 1999 economically...
Leave such people alone. More humans around now but not as much resources to match them.

a very big lie, Abacha's government was economically better all the governments in Nigeria since 1999, he was a thief yes but looting was restricted to only a few of his clicks, unlike what we have today, he was a tyrant yes, but he only terrorised politician and big men who stepped on his toes, he had no business with the masses, lastly it was a heavily militarized government which had soldiers everywhere doing the work of police too, but economically Nigeria was better...
Abaxha indeed centralized corruption and we were better off economically but not democratically. Freedom of expression was gone. The saving grace under Buhari is Social Media that's bridging the gap in media freedom restriction.

if know OAU, you wont be talking all these. The moment you fight them, forget your certificate! This one sef na small case. You can win some battles against them but you can't win the war. For you to be successful in Nigeria, you must be ready to compromise. You've to win some and lose some. She won the court case but lost the war. I said wake me up when she gets her certificate from the Great Ife.
The girl never fought OAU. She sought the help of the court in avoiding sexual exploitation by the lecturer. OAU is just so useless that's why they went on a solidarity witch hunt of the girl.

How does this one work?
The way I understand this thing is that NIN is meant to be a number unique to each profile or citizen in the NIMC identity database for citizens
If the telcos must sit in their offices and capture people's detail. then there should be a way of them avoiding giving out one NIN multiple times. It is either NIMC gives them access to a central server or allocated them some NINs to tie to people's profile.

Zamfara also happens to be the poorest state and first sharia embracing state in Nigeria. He should do at least 5 years like his corrupt christian northern counterparts are doing.
