Family › Please Help: What Do I Advise Them? by CodeTemplar(op): 5:24pm On Jan 26, 2021
A family I know has a thriving corn farm. There are unemployed females and males in the house. I also noticed that there is a huge market for pap, a byproduct of corn around the neighborhood.

The issue here is that the man of the house has refused to invest in pap business or encourage any of the other house member to delve into pap business. They sell their huge corn reserve like that often and spend the proceed, but lately they have been struggling financially, yet the man of the house refuses to create the pap business seeing that he has corn.
I reasoned within myself that if the man should sell/pass the corn to his household for onward processing into pap, there will be profit from the pap business to support them financially.

Please house(Nairalanders) what do you think of this man or rather what should I tell him to make him wake up and do the needful? Advise me.

The Teaching Of Christ : John 8 : 4 - 7

The Teaching Of Paul : Ist Timothy 1 : 8-10

Christ was totally against the law of Moses but Paul promoted it. Christ recognize you can't be a man and not sin but Paul criminalize the act of sinning.
Stop talking nonsense with accounts. Did Jesus not clearly state he came to fulfil the same law you now want to twist another verse to say he was against? They came to test Jesus and he outsmarted them. Where did he reject the law?

[quote author= post=98452179]Good step in the right direction.

Necessity is truly the mother of invention.

After this,
Then the Government should move towards the establishment of Cattle ranch as it is being done in saner climes...
This will be a very good opportunity to get that fixed also,

Although sane and honest Nigerians should not be surprised when some people start wailing that why is the government using their tax (sic) money to build ranches.....same ranches they have been wailing about for few years now.
Even if they are told that the ranches were built by private investors, they will never and can never believe.
Nothing will ever make them happy in life, all their lives is to wail 24/7.
Frustrated troublemakers.

Nigeria will be great in our lifetime.
Peace is all we wantin our darling nation.

It is called incompetence laundering. He was trying to launder the incompetence of the current govt.
Maybe Lai hasn't realized that BH is now all over the country. May he hasn't noticed they are circling Abuja this time around and not just doing hit n run with UN building. They are still raiding army bases for weapons undisturbed.

And they are still registering the so called herdsmen. That's more like registering killers and kidnappers

The problem just begun kiss

The Southern Nigeria government shouldn't allow them have any free forest reserve all in the name of registration. The problem will escalate and we will be going back and forth. They should be outright ban on open grazing. They should buy land and ranch their cattle just like the poultry and fish farmer buys land for his poultry and fishery respectively.

A word is enough for the wise
There many reserves in the north. Plus the north has excess lands that can not be exhausted. .There is Yankari in Plateau for example so let them go there. If they want to start a Ruga war let every other ethnic group give it to them.

Foreign Affairs › Central African Government Says Forces Killed 44 Rebels In Counteroffensive by CodeTemplar(op): 4:27am On Jan 26, 2021
Central African Republic troops killed 44 rebel fighters participating in a push to encircle the capital Bangui and overturn newly-reelected President Faustin Archange Touadera, the government said Monday.

Together with “allied forces”, the CAR army launched an offensive in the village of Boyali, around 90 kilometres (56 miles) from the capital, with no casualties on the government side and “44 dead including several mercenaries from Chad, Sudan and the Fulani” ethnic group, the government posted on Facebook.

When the government says “allies”, it is usually referring to Rwandan troops and Russian paramilitaries which have been sent to the conflict-plagued country to reinforce federal troops.

“Government forces are back on the offensive,” government spokesman Ange-Maxime Kazagui told AFP.

He added that troops had captured the village of Boda, 124 kilometres from Bangui, with support from Russian fighters.

The country’s six most powerful armed groups, which control two-thirds of the CAR’s territory in an eight-year conflict, joined forces in December, calling themselves the Coalition of Patriots for Change (CPC).

On December 19, they announced an offensive on Bangui aimed at preventing Touadera’s re-election in December 27’s presidential election.

But the capital was protected by a well-equipped, 12,000-strong force of UN peacekeepers from the MINUSCA mission, as well as CAR troops and the Russian and Rwandan reinforcements.

Monday’s government announcement about the successful attack, which AFP was unable to confirm with independent sources, is the first time authorities have issued such a precise statement about casualties among any forces other than the UN peacekeepers.

The UN has warned of the rebels trying to “strangle” the capital by cutting off the three major roads leading there.

Well as obtained from the previous thread https://www.nairaland.com/6382623/macban-no-more-night-grazing, that they're willing to accept the rules and regulations of the government.

All I want from our South West governors is to make sure they compulsory ranching (As obtained in the pics below)
If those Fulanis don't have funds to set up, they should go and ask for loans, they should raise funds from their brothers.

They need to sign an agreement form or whatever it's called with legal backing. And The government should make ranching compulsory.

God Bless South West.
God Bless Ile Oodua.
They only strategizing on what to do next.

That won't happen if they keep planning how to do Ruga with poultry tax. You cannot tax farmers and use the money to set up ranches for their competition. I I
