Lol. . . when will govt start focusing on off grid renewable energy? The power sector in Nigeria will eventually crash and only those close to gas reserves will benefit from the current gas plants. |

gasparpisciotta: Unfortunately UK tax system charges 50% tax on their idle funds....
Our elites are so wicked, self centered and callous. Most of them are destined for hell.
That so called billionaire from Ogun state that died early this year when he contracted Covid could not get an hospital bed in the UK despite being a millionaire pounds sterling.
He came back to die in Nigeria, without leaving a tangible legacy.
I doubt if he built a single hospital despite being worth 500mil dollars.
Lesson: the white man will take a poor fellow white man over a rich black man
Stop making illogical conclusions. In UK they have a health insurance system that uses the funds of the people to secure their health and it is closely integrated with their public healthcare system. Do you really expect them to push a taxpayer out of theirvhealth centre built with their money and admit a wealthy Nigerian or Blackman instead? It will be wrong that way. |

Rossnitti: I hope you people know it is not Buhari's job to be innovative. That's YOUR job.
We have a habit of blaming the govt for everything. That's Buhari job. The innovativeness of the people is sustained by that of the leadership. How can one afford to be innovative an industrialist, if power, road access and general business processes are shît? Look at oil, can't Buhari use his head and do the Dangote kind of refinery? He is thinking of building a rail that will link Niger and stylishly link his home state. |

Rossnitti: Don't mind the slaves. They themselves are two-faced when dealing with themselves.
If it was Hausa or Fulani people doing it, the thread would have filled with condemnation for them. But it is Indians, who are 'oyinbo' for them, so not a word of criticism of Indians.
An Indian can rape their wives and they'll ignore him and go look for the first black man to blame.

Someone7: I AM concerned about the authenticity that's why I ask questions and I suggest you should read properly before mentioning me. SR are an opposition voice, great! I support their ideals. However more often than not they have used their platform to spread politically motivated lies. So yeah don't blame me for questioning the authenticity of their reporting. Journalism when exposing the truth is always perceived as dissidence by dictatorial "regime". |

These people will plunge Nigeria into civil conflict one day You should be concerned about the authenticity of the news. Buhari govt has suppressed media freedom largely to appear competent. If true, then SR has done a fantastic job. |

I have always said it. this is what the north needs and not some useless pipeline project taking oil to them for some stupid refinery idea.
Build the solar or wind arrays of about 10-25 MW and build industrial estates around it. if done well the profit from one will be used to start another and that's how they will get ahead of the south. With clean energy and not some useless crude theft conspiracy they are brandishing as one Nigeria with some phantom nonnegotiable unity. |

athorello: I'm currently paying approx. N53/kWh to PHED... Yet they take 30% of any amount I'm recharging to pay for the arrears own on the account by previous/existing tenants prior to distribution of prepaid meters to all tenants? I moved in and was recharging but not getting the actual value until I discovered that the meter was owing over 480k. Looking for a new house like this cos my landlord is aloof on the matter and PHED says they can't help me. Instead, they're saying they might soon disconnect the line. I'm not Jesus Christ who is bearing the sins of the world. That's a lot of arrears to carry. I will rather approach renewable guys and see what it will cost to power my appliances. |
