Muna4real:
The government can go and collect the money they borrowed from wherever they kept it. They will eat the money and ask us to pay? Nonsense! Did we ask them to borrow in the first place?
The govt is your representative in the eyes of the Chinese and will gladly hold you for the debt. If everybody disowns the land on which the monies were supposedly spend to develop, the Chinese will have to go after the land and chase us out, something they have the means to do.

OK.

You, can express you opinions about Islam and Muslims, no matter how offensive they are to us.
But a Muslim is a fool for opining that your opinions are persecutions.
Your efforts as a muslims should be directed at those who block public roads when gathering and not displaying of fake piousness online.

Business › Re: Help!!! Someone Keeps Sending Money To My Account by CodeTemplar: 5:29pm On Sep 25, 2020
Trustwallet:
Hello nairalander!

Unknown someone keeps sending money to my diamond access bank, this is the second time am recieving money to my account, which is 30,290 & 30,136 naira and the text on the remark is a foreign name.

At first i got alert of 30,260 with remark "Stepan zemalek", at first i thought someone mistakenly sent money to my account, i said lemme wait if i will receive a call from someone claiming the money but nobody called to claim the money, not knowing that my bank have deducted 530 naira for sms fee nd 200 naira for stamp nd postal fee, i have to transfer the money the money to my rubies bank account with the hope somebody will call me nd claim the money.

Secondly, i got another alert of 30,136 with the remark saying "Jaonna LiebeltEtzler/18.9.20".

I dont remember giving anybody my bank details apart from my mom nd uncles, i have called my bank customer care to complain about it and to know who sent the money from my account but he said he cant disclose the information to me. i have complained to the bank and the keep saying their normal bla bla.

I need help on what to do next....below is the screenshot of the alert...
My advise is this, there is a good possibility your account has been compromises by fraudsters who want to use your account to accumulate fraudulent transfers from overseas before using it for their final transaction or transfer their own accounts. It is best you report it to authorities(bank/police) since you appear to have no intention of treating it as awuf money.

Science to me, is an offshoot of religion. God Himself created the earliest craftsmen and granted them diverse wisdom. Great scientist are largely Christians. We can subtract the contribution of these Christians from today's civilization and what will be left will be caves.

Travel › Re: Visa Ban: Our Policy Consistent With Yours, UK Replies FG by CodeTemplar: 10:14am On Sep 25, 2020

Laing recalled that prior to the 2019 general election, the Nigerian Government welcomed its policy, adding that maybe the government probably assumed that its policy applied to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) only.
“I am surprised in the way they said this because before the last election, they welcomed our policy. Of course, they probably assumed it applied to PDP individuals.
“This is not about which party is. It can be from any political party or indeed, just an ordinary individual who is not a member of a party.
“So, it has nothing to do with party politics and I will hope the Nigerian Government will see us as supporting them.

The ruling party erroneously assumed they will have the power to or privilege of being the one who determines who and who is an electoral offender. They forgot that UK has eyes of themselves and are following the happening themselves. Trash party.

I have a very stupid friend from Delta state that was fiercely defending Ibori. He is an Urhobo man like Ibori and if you hear his basis of defence, you will pity the youths of this country and the way they reason.

Irrespective of the fact that he stole all these money being mentioned, Ibori built this, built that. My brother, whose money was used to build those things? We're they not Delta state govt money?
In the absence of any good, mediocrity becomes excellence.

Point of correction, there are difference between the Church of God and church of Mammon.........
Don't make it sound like God is a wicked God.....
You can't be this churchy and still be the poorest in the world.......
Scholarship ko... schools ni........how many of you or your family members can attend/afford those facilities you mentioned...........
I ask again the government Builts infrastructures from the tax payers......how do your Church make their money?
The mosque don't collect 10% and all manners of offerings from their members....
And for your information, I am not a Moslem.......
Your line of thought is stupid at best sir.

You don't start something you cannot finish. The church cannot take N100 tithes & offerings and turn them into millions of naira for people needing surgeries for example. The members of these church don't have a steady register where they track who joined and when they joined the church.
This will make it impossible to know those who contributed towards the hospital through tithes and offerings, it will also open door for fake members who hang around for the sake of using expensive medical care while paying stipends as seeds (tithes and offering).

You should use your brain more and suppress your negative emotion towards these innocent churches. Even in NHIS scheme that covers millions of members, they have a limit as to how much of benefit one can get out of the scheme. In UK such an arrangement as you are proposing is grossly being abused by people who want to have plastic surgery when there are cancer patients. I wonder why people like you have allowed your hatred for innocent churches to becloud your reasoning faculty to the point of spilling extremely idiotic ideas.

You don't build a missionary hospital if you are not sure of a steady source of funding either from your church, donor agencies or other church affiliated businesses.
So how do the ministries ensure a steady source of funding?

By using the salaries / income of members to predict or by divine calculations?
This idea of your is the foundation of witchcraft and is as daft as the extreme of daftness itself.
Health › Re: Christ Embassy To Build World Class Hospital On Lagos - Ibadan Expressway by CodeTemplar: 7:20pm On Sep 24, 2020
thesicilian:
Ideally the church should subsidize the treatment, otherwise it's not really a missionary hospital, but just another private profit making enterprise. That's one thing I love about the Catholic hospitals: excellent care for as little as they can charge, because it's mostly funded by donations.
...according to this your subsidy plan, what happens when the subsidy eats into the church money being used for their core ministry? Do they fold up or what? Like in times of plaque when there is so much crowd.

Lol I guess a serious professor would be working in Lautech then.
I wonder why same profs who mismanage public funds in federal schools shouldn't go near a private schools that offers them the same money legitimately. The blind hatred for anything that doesn't reek of the influence of dark forces in Nigeria is alarming.

Hopefully the common man will be able to access treatment there at a heavily subsidized rate.
There is nothing like common man affording it here. It depends on the way the project is set up. by the way, who subsidizes it?

Apparently it's more accommodating. The living faith church set out to build a multi billion naira marine focused university wholly by its own funds a few years ago near Tinapa in Cross river.

The community insisted that they must be paid before development is permitted. The church is still slugging it out as they claim it is not in their policy to pay such.

I remember even nodogragra4me even attested to it.
Imagine, and when things gets bad, we blame the white man for our woes. Even factories are not left out of the extortionist culture whereby JJC perceived to have money are asked to pay for what's their right.

Even state government have been known to try and extort churches for projects that can benefit the public.

At least that should reduce the forex we loose to medical tourism.

In a time Buhari is denying the commonman forex for basic things of life like education, food and drugs, I think anything that takes away frivolous forex use is a welcomed idea.
Romance › Re: The Multi-billion Naira Sex Industry In Lagos And Its Invisible Players by CodeTemplar: 3:44pm On Sep 24, 2020
It's a multi-billion naira industry without exaggerations. It has changed lives. Many have bought cars, careers, houses, established businesses through this industry. It is called the oldest profession in the world. It is not new, just that the trends are changing. Every young lady seems to be eyeing the sector with a plan to join and support herself. Greed, peer pressure and economic hardship drive the informal industry.
The writer paints it from one angle alone and didn't talk about the loses those patronising the industry or rather sellers bring in as economic loses. No legit hustler will pay the kind of money that will enable these girls buy flashy cars. We have to address the GDP loses incurred when young able bodied men engage in get rich quick schemes like yahoo. network marketing, theft, corruption etc. The loses is both ways. The male group and their female counterpart going after money at all mean in order to satisfy an urge that cannot produce anytime for tangible for the society, thereby leading to a lower GDP.
