Nope... They are not. We all make mistakes and when we do, the best thing is to admit we have made a mistake...

Are they doing so now? Are they? They made that move out of selfishness. It is like trying to prevent someone from move forward because you want to be at the front but never knew there is a large pit not too far off...

Northerners don't have time to talk much...

It was here I showed some of these idiots screenshot I took with my phone and data about the things these Northerners were saying after election. Guess what they said? They called it fake news..., lies, propaganda.

The reason igbos scream at the top of their voice is that they too will be affected. If it could happen that only they will feel the heat of calamity, that would have been better...

What happened to letting GEJ finish his tenure? No, they kicked him out. Same GEJ that never attacked their land.

But they wat buhari that has caused so much pain to finish he second term... Why?
Election involves each man casting his vote according to his wish. We individual decisions could be influenced in many ways but for someone somewhere to start insinuating that Yoruba generally made a mistake, I think such a person needs to be examined.
It is only in Igbo land you see block votes being given to candidates. There is nothing like a Yoruba mistake because all Yoruba don't sit down and deliberate on who to support and who not to support. That's the beauty of democracy, though ours Is' far from perfect.

Your bitterness towards westerners can't be justified. You people even blame selected Yoruba men for advancing their interest, but forgot that you all have your own interests. It was these same Yoruba's who led the protests that installed GEJ when Turai held him in a lockdown and before he became Azikiwe or a brother to Igbos so if these same Yoruba's turned against him as you allege, why did they turn against him.

bro, these people run their mouth anyhow. I know there are some of them who don't reason like this. We should admit that that singular move they championed in 2015 is the cause of these whole problems we are facing... My friends lost their jobs and couldn't get any better for crying out loud.

Don't tell me to take it easy when they are still forming right when it's clearly they made a wrong move. People with conscience will admit they failed their people but not for these folks...

If not for the fact that they have become a victim as well, they would have been mocking igbos as losers like they previously did.

The Igbos they call enemies have never go on attacking their community with wreck less abandon. You will even read some of them saying igbos are trying to destroy the relationship they have with the North (who has killed and still killing them o)

What relationship are they talking about here? The relationship that gave them constant power supply, abi na good road all over South West or free education or jobs or great free Healthcare? Which one please?

The Igbos they wish her frustrated never fall short of where they too feel same pain and agony...

Why can't these people swallow their ego for once?
Hmmm so you truly believe that Yoruba is the problem.

Politics › Re: There Was Never A Time Nigeria Spent $16bn On Our Power Sector During Obasanjo E by CodeTemplar: 1:56pm On Jul 19, 2019
Realdeals:
The reason Nigeria is not getting it right, is the neglect of the manufacturing sector. The over reliance on importing items to build our growth will not make it to work, outflow from the estimated N2 trillion spent on electricity is over 80%.
Instead of building the steel and iron industry to produce turbines and power transmission railings here in the country, we resort to importing.

100% of the iron bar that will be used in the construction of the Lagos-Ibadan railway project will be imported, does it mean we cannot have industry to produce them? What are the government doing to build the capacity of its citizens, yet he wanted them to be productive and stop going into crime?

NIGERIA IS OBVIOUSLY DUE FOR A REVOLUTION TO USHER IN A NEW IDEAS.

We should look beyond Buhari incompetency, OBJ letters, Afenifere Lamentation, Ohanaze crying and Arewa weeping all those old generation of leaders that made up this groups have failed us, they have no excuse.
All they are doing now is just eye service to salvage what at one point or the other they've contributed to destroyed.
We need a little more than working steel industries to start building power turbines. We need truly functional brains and not the old generation.

You must be stupid and an irritant to say undeveloped as if your state is any better than the east. Let me see if the killing in the South West will stop after this visit with Ooni smiling on a serious issue. Most of you are just dunces who have refused to face reality squarely. We will see if they will not strike... even with them openly admitting to their atrocities with one cow challenging FFk on twitter that they are waiting for you fools.

It was this same OVER SABI that made you morons go thumb printing for the calamity of president, retrogressively sending the entire country economically backwards BECAUSE you want to be the next to rule, thereby betraying your own fellow southern brother, something the North will NEVER do...

why wont you take it easy with him when you hope he your region will be next to rule, else you ruin your chance at the mercy of those losing their lives.

Buhari that does not give fork about anyone aside his tribe is the same Buhari you are hoping will listen...same buhari that is willing to bribe the entire country to settle RUGA, what an audacity!
You should be more mature than this. You can't blackmail a whole tribe go vote for your party like that. Get over the 2015 loss and stop all the childish post. At the end of the most states voted for both major parties but only western states are making you angry.

It was not betrayal... it was the way Nigeria's political structure has been set up. How many states knew him?

Let me shock you, the likes of Mogalu never had the REAL intention to become president. It was all mouth and show off. If they were really determined to become one as they claimed, they would have gone into either APC or PDP, start from the ground up and build themselves.

Akin Alabi, a fellow hustler within our industry, built his ambition on parties that stood a chance of getting him THERE. He tried PDP and lost and then tried APC and won, with lots and lots of lobbying, meeting people, humbling and all that (you know how you Yorubas play these kind of things) and he eventually won.

As it is now, Akin Alabi has chance of becoming Nigeria's president than MOGALU, SOWORE and co put together and you know why.

Same goes to El Rufai, Dino, and a host of others, these guys paid their dues, they started from somewhere but most importantly in a party that STOOD chance to boost their "brand" and "ideology" and have their face seen and voices heard. This is how Nigeria has been structured

It was here you people were screaming election is not won ONLINE even for ATiku that stood a better chance than him and others... so how do you expect Mogalu win? In your own personal life, please be true to this, in your own personal life offline, off nairaland... do you embark on a mission you KNOW is meant to fail due to lack of capacity to influence a positive outcome? I leave you to answer that.

Coming to the ISSUE of betrayal gan gan... yes, I stand by that as long as GEJ/Tinubu history is concerned. What happened to, "let's leave him to finish his second term...? but you want us to give BUHARI, a disaster, a chronic clannish ethnic bigot, an economic catastrophe a second term...
What useless party dues are u talking about? You can contest anywhere and there is no point running in APC/PDP when they rig primaries like anything.

All these people here that come in daily to condemn Fulani herdsmen, why don't you people put your mouth where your mouth is (excuse the pun) and BOYCOTT THEIR MEAT altogether?

I mean, you don't give a damn where or how they rear their cattle. You don't want them anywhere near you. You view the RUGA idea with contempt and utterly reject it.

But you cannot do without eating their meat on a daily basis. Beef, Shaki, Pomo, Brokoto, Oxtail, Roundabout, and so on. These things are a must for the average Nigerian meal.

It's a real dilemma and paradox.

Why don't we all just shun the Fulanis and their cattle and pray for our shaki and pomo to appear from heaven like manna?

I'm sure it will.
They equally have Christians but why do they wait for oil money from Christians? Use what God gave u more often.

Everybody like to condemn private school but how much does FG spend on some of our dull public uni grads?
The fact that the parents pay in private school and govt pays the bulk in public schools doesn't justify a public grad opting for driving tricycle after huge subsidy on his or her education.
Let's us also speak out against the public system wastage. That one affect us all more.

how about you shows me places in the bible ,someone nailed another persons glory to the tree , did the early xtain suffer spiritual attacks as we have now in africa especially nigeria. how many early xtains were use for money rituals, how many xtain in the bible had there name buried in a pot ... deosnt matter what you think these is reality, desperate times calls for desperate measures, hence the kind of prayer we pray in nigeria. that we are not struck by evil does not mean it doesnt exit.
with the early xtain were there rape cases in the church, but today are people not praying for justice against pastors alleged. desperate times call for desperate measures.
How many xtians had HIV or AIDs? Was the various cults of today mentioned in bible? No. The bible is a manual to man( Spirit, body and soul) and it uses various generic terms to summarize those things you are asking of. Some of them fall under the devices of the crafty.

Christianity Etc › Re: Why Christianity Especially Needs To Be Regulated By The Government by CodeTemplar: 3:01am On Jul 18, 2019
If govt wants to regulate any religion it should be the one that takes lives, uses govt fund for its activities like ram buying and worship centre construction or even blocking of road by its members when praying.
Overzealous Christian pastors may randomly destroy shrines but how is that comparable to the above atrocities.
