EnthronedbyGod: I couldn't respond to this before,cos I was in a hurry.
The demonic spirits usually enter during the beatings or during the jorjor( gyration) or when one is drinking the cult drink( cos most cults have their type of drinks which they bless in the name of the gods) and most importantly during the oath taking. It's usually more than one spirit that possesses cult members. The first to enter is the spirit controlling the cult, after it enters it then opens the door for other lesser spirits to join. Most cult spirits are in the level of the rulers of darkness of this world and they are the ones that can do the possession, before allowing others enter. Important to know that occult people too bless things in names of dark beings before consuming them. Some believers avoid blessed substances like anointing oil and holy communion. These are normal everyday substances and the main difference between the occult version and Kingdom of God one is the names in which they are blessed. That's why you have to test all spirits. Your faith is needed for the good one but the bad one only needs them to subdue your flesh to sensitize it to those evil spirit beings and things. Even Jesus gave the his disciples fruit juice after blessing it and called it His blood. |

Did Jesus ask us to pray for our enemies to live or to die? Picture a case of witchcraft of Father warring against his son for decades and then suddenly the son comes to the knowledge of such wicked reality. if the father lives in denial and keep to his wicked ways indefinitely, should the son pray for his enemy to live or to die?
Even the Bible says it is a good thing with God to recompense tribulation for those that trouble you.
What is tribulation? |

In my first comment here, I talked about cultism being centered around controĺling spirits and concealing of the spirit of the initiated.
Well, the OP has in fact confirmed that. During his "brutal" initiation story he claimed he was beaten for long hours and needed two weeks or thereabout to heal. He also said he suddenly jumped after drinking a certain blood based cocktail or concoction and I think that is when they controlling spirits entered. He was weak after the initiation beating or drilling but suddenly jumped and uttered some words then synchronized in action with older guys or initiates. That is the moment the controlling spirit entered there. I believe he left those out for the sake of not "glorifying the works of Satan'. |

A long time ago, when I was on Facebook I used to follow him, but the Spirit led me to stop following his page and I obeyed immediately.
That doesn't mean he's ritualistic, but he obviously wasn't a good example, that's why the Spirit led me to stop following his page.
It's only one virgin that has said she was raped, the other ladies never claimed to be virgins, so I can't just conclude.
A good pastor can mentor a bad son in the Lord, just like Elisha was a father to Gehazi. This doesn't also mean he and his father are good or bad.
If he committed those crimes, he should be humble enough to admit and seek forgiveness and repentance, both from the church, the families he hurt and from God. Though I'm starting to think he actually slept with the lady, because of the statement by the pastor that wedded the Dakolos. It might be termed as rape because he slept with an under age girl.
All I know is that there are so many satanic pastors out there and God will expose them one by one. √ |

Verses 3-13 then highlights these blessings that shall come upon thee, if thou shall harken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. So wealth is part of our benefits as 'Israelites'.

UceeGod: I think you should reread my post so you can understand properly and I think you're the one being emotional here. As I posted earlier, there's absolutely nothing wrong with God’s people being wealthy but it's unChristlike to continually emphasize on acquiring material possessions and flying private jets AS A CHRISTIAN LEADER. At the same time I'm not saying a Christian must be perpetually poor financially to be like Christ even though we all pass through financial difficulties - it's unavoidably part of the Christian life if we must grow in grace. Show me anywhere in the Bible that Jesus Christ preached about pursuing wealth, show me anywhere in the Bible where Abraham, Isaac, David, Solomon, etc prayed or worked so hard for the wealth they had. Showe me anywhere in the Bible where God blessed them with material wealth because of their hard work.
My friend, true wealth from God doesn't come from your hard work but God's GRACE, WILL & SOVEREIGNTY. God may decide to bless your WORK with wealth but it has to be according to His divine purpose The first bold part is extremely laughable. Jet usage is a function of economics and scale. Taking Winners Chapel for example, They do enough travel that covers routes with low air traffic and the work of God or spread of gospel would be severely impeded if they decide to be spending their limited time joining commercial airlines. If analysed well, it is cheaper to own a jet that can carry 30 at a time than for top winners pastors to be buying tickets. As for the other bold part, show me the exact pastors who chase wealth cos I think very few on that list do. Asking mega church pastors not to fly jets is likeq asking Buhari to do away with our national fleet because many poor Nigerians exist. He can't take commercial flights to Europe for sake of poor people he is serving. |

jesusjnr: Who said I was against praying?
My point was that prayer was meant to be the end but a means to an end which is obedience.
So people coming together and praying is not the issue, but people getting the obedience part right, otherwise it would be vanity as it has been with the instance of Nigeria.
For Nigerians pray and fast a lot etc., and they gather themselves a lot for this purpose, but they hardly obey the Word of God which is the purpose of prayer, so they pray in vain because the purpose is defeated. And who said the bold? Prayer is a tool for subduing the flesh and therefore must go on even in the presence of sins. There is difference between willful sin and uncontrollable ones. |

The pharisees also prayed!
Most Christians today as yourself are modern day Pharisees!
You pray, fast, pay your tithes, honor God with your lips and mouths, but your heart is far from him because you don't keep His Word, so your pray in vain because the purpose of prayer is defeated.
So I hope you've learnt a thing or two about prayer today. Some sin are actually not done willingly. Those ones need prayerfulness. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Am I Going To Heaven? by CodeTemplar: 11:21am On Jul 05, 2019 |
jesusjnr: No wonder you'd be calling for us to come together to pray, because you think that prayer is the solution to the issues of the church when people continue in live in sin?
The problem of the church is not praying together but getting the individual quality right first, for as long as the church doesn't get that part right, they all can pray together from today till Christ comes, nothing would really change unless they change.
For even Jesus was praying alone not even with His twelve disciples until He was able to have a few of them(Peter, John, James) that were closer to His individual quality and could agree with Him in prayer.
For we need to get our individual quality right first before we should think of praying together. For if we are able to do that, then when we come together it wouldn't be any different from what happened on the day of Pentecost.
But I can see that you found those who are at your spiritual level, so you can pray with them.
As for me I pray alone except with those at my spiritual level for I know the extent of God's power and presense I feel already when I pray alone. So I know what to expect when I have more of people of about the same spiritual capacity join with me in prayer, for is bound to be no different from what happened then, because the spiritual quality at the individual level is standard.
So next time don't waste your hope on me seeing such thrash, because it is lies and emanates from hell to me.
#doctrineofhell Prayerfulness leads to power and strength in the spirit and can help stay ahead of sin so what are you saying? |

deomelo: The land is not going to be solely for Fulani headers and the program is a broad and comprehensive plan that goes beyond herdsmen, it's going to be a confined and controlled space with other investors and businesses and if crimes are committed, you know where to go and who to arrest, unlike the current situation where they are mobile and move from state to state and town to town.
Poultry farmers are situated permanently in the business locations, they don't move around the country with their chickens, the government knows where to go to collect taxes from poultry farmers, but where do you go to tax herders? You don't know and you can not stop them on the side of the road with to tax them so the only solution is to confine and tax them as a business.
The president's livestock is confined to his farm. If Benue anti open grazing law couldn't stop them how will one useless ruga settlement ever do. You being economical with the truth here. Let all herdsmen be licences and registered, then let them be regulated and mandated to be in ranch. The only difference from ruga is that they get to pay for land and can thus choose to even ranch in GRAs or Victoria Island. Ruga settlement is fake domination idea. |

deomelo: Is this not the reason why the government introduced NLTP/RUGA.
RUGA/NLTP = Controlled, centralized, monitored and organized animal husbandry business for interested livestock farmers and investors, not just headers.
It means no more herdsmen running around the country, no more destroying farms and no more clashes with farmers.
We slaughter and consume tens of thousands of cattle per day, that's billions per day that the headers and owners are not sharing with the rest of Nigeria especially where they graze, but NLTP/RUGA means they have to share in form of taxes and be regulated.
This program is more than the ill-informed and paranoid noise people are passing around on the internet, it's turning to graze into a regulated livestock business as they have in other countries, we are talking about full-scale grazing to abattoir services, meat and meat product processing, packaging, tannery and so on.
Apart from we have the usual shortsighted, paranoid and tribalistic mentality portion of Nigeria that rejects credible ideas and programs, a large segment of the Nigerian population are ignorant and instead of seeking knowledge to learn and educate themselves about issues, they consume rumors and fake trash other people pass around on the internet or beer parlor.
In the SW alone, they consume almost 20,000 cattle per day, but is the state getting a cut of the daily multi billion naira cattle trade? I don't think so.
It's either they set up their own ranch as a business and for food security measure or offer land and let other entities invest and manage the ranches. If the law can't subdue their excesses now what makes you think it will after they get land? Do poultry farmer operate in settlements before govt taxes them? If no, why must herdsmen be in settlenents? It is a ploy at consolidating the lawlessness of a tribe over others. Let Buhari uphold the laws currently in place and deal with killer herdsmen appropriately. He himself is a herdsman and we know it. |

budaatum: They do not currently graze for free. I am from the Orolu Kingdom of Ifon Osun where cattle herding is huge business so the chiefs collect money from the herders who must behave or we the people will revolt! When you complain to the chief that Fulani cattle ate your crops, the chief will only give you a part of the compensation he gets on your behalf. Even the cattle the fulani herdsman is herding belongs to the chief, in most instances. They are not forcing any religion on anyone nor are they kidnapping anyone. If they do, we will adopt a new Oro Cattle Eating Festival!
Ranching will force herdsmen to stop moving cattle around spreading diseases and eating up poor farmer crops. It will make them taxable because we would know where their assets are and it would revolutionise the cattle business and wrest it from backward Fulani herdsmen who lack modern cattle rearing knowledge. We will also be able to monitor the quality of the meat we eat.
Meat production is way too large an industry to neglect as we currently do considering the benefits, only some of which are laid out in the op. The entire industry needs to be revolutionised. Is there no law in place to help deal with such corrupt rulers who get paid by herdsmen? If the law can't handle them what makes you think it will work after herdsmen get lands? |

Can I go to Kano and demand land for settlement? No. I go there like a stranger, pay for land or rent one and use it.
