Mko123:North central especially Benue have always been polluted with cultism |
Mko123: |
Nope |
xelly:Crude oil bro...it the cost of crude DAT determine the Cost PMS |
xelly:Yam doesn't have any political influence like oil..it doesn't have a body comprising several countries to regulate the price..so there is no such thing as international price as opposed to oil |
MyExpression:No one needs to tell any one how to sell by products... It obvious that if oil is selling for over $70...buy the time you factor in ur of refining it and taking ur profit margin..fuel should sell for around $1.. Make ur simple research...most if not all African and Asia countries sell fuel for around $1.. Now convert $1 to naira.. If OPEC increases oil price to $100...then fuel should cost $1.2 or so... OPEC indirectly determines the price of fuel by the determining the price of the raw material (crude)... Landing cost means the cost of the fuel itself and the cost of transporting it...if NNPC claims to buy fuel for around N340..then transport can't be more than $0.8 for a litre...so we only save a few cents for transportation.. Fuel will still be around $0.8 to $1 in Nigeria once u remove subsidies.. And that is the same price in Ghana, Togo, SA...U mention any country that don't subsidized fuel u will see it around $1.. $1=N414 Last time I checked Governors predicted fuel to sell for above N400...it obvious they were not blabbing but bringing in simple analysis to play |
Johnrake69:Lol...ur getting it all wrong... The only benefit of refining fuel ourselves is that it get to save us Forex... It doesn't and can never equate to a cheaper price...Brent oil is selling for above $80 ..if a company buys it..there is a particular cost they add to it (cost of refining) and they add their profit margin...by the time they begin to resell the byproduct.. In this case...Petrol...they should sell it for around $1... If u check almost every African and Asia countries the cost of a litre of petrol is around $0.9 to $1..for a litre... Now convert $1 to naira and see the price.. . The only way fuel can be cheaper if subsidies are removed is for CBN to reverse dollar rate to less than N150 for a dollar.. Or they sell crude to Dangote at a subsidized rate which goes against the whole idea of deregulation and subsidies removal |
dominique:Fuel is supposed to sell for N340 and above per litre if not for subsidies.. Since govt wanna remove subsidies by july...when dangote starts production he will sell fuel for N340 and above depending on oil prices He is not inflating it as that is the international price |
CaptainAyub:When the borders were closed...Dangote, BUA and FMN were given exemptions.. Secondly he has no rift with BUA group... Some of u don't listen to news to understand.. BUA group opened a sugar refinery in PH city..which is to produce sugar by importing the raw sugar abroad...that idea goes against the Nigeria sugar backward integrated program which BUA is part of... BUA is supposed to refine raw sugar from within Nigeria not import it which puts pressure on our forex reserve.. Ibeto cement was formed to eventually die..when obasanjo initiated cement backward integrated program.. It basically means before u continue importing cements into the country .u have made plans to produce locally.. Ibeto never followed the rules and he wanted government to keep supplying him dollars...the company folded up as soon as those who followed the rules opened their plant (Dangote cement and BUA cement) There is no such thing as subsidised dollar ...CBN gave uninterrupted dollar supplies to Dangote for obvious reasons....he is funding the largest refinery in Africa with the longest pipeline infrastructure in the world, Africa largest petrochemical and fertilizer plant and world largest single distillation column.. All this can save Nigeria forex reserve by over 50% and end our embarrassing activities of petroleum imports... And you think Government through CBN shouldn't give their utmost support.... Abeg rest...if e easy why didn't otedola, alakija , shell ,chevron, Agip...and all the petroleum giants do it... |
ubimagos:Kwara is totally Muslim dominated... Kogi is almost Muslim dominated though with a strong Christian population |
Month don almost end...if u know u know ![]() |
karzyharsky:Minister |
aribisala0:I wanted to ignore you but... The bolded just pushed me... Look every carriage in an electric trains have electric motors which are powered by the over head cables which the trains connects to via a pantograph... Diesel trains also have the same carriages with electric motors..but In this case..the power comes from a generator which is powered by a diesel engine... In short...they are all electric trains but that of the diesel trains generates it own power ...while the electric trains get their power from the overhead wires... You can bring an electric train into Nigeria as far as it is connected to a diesel generator which can produce enough power to run the entire motor system to speed.. What is confusing you here is that you think.. .in all diesel passenger train.. The first carriage housing the engines actually pulls the rest of the carriages and that is false....make ur proper research... Modern diesel train carriages have motors and they get power from the diesel generator |
Greetings to all Nairalanders So this is a quick and straight forward question to many of our graduates in the house.. With the current situations now not just in Nigeria but around the globe. Can You mention any thing you know now and you wished you knew back in school before graduating.. Any regrets or wish.. For me I wished I acquired a lot of professional skills (atleast the ones i wanted to) before I stepped into Uni...everything feels choky and resulting to learning other stuff leaving less focus on school has a huge repercussions.. Not to mention the race many schools are in (including mine) to make up for the wasted time due to covid and ASUU... Share yours.. Mods Front Page pls.. |

[quote author=TUTU147 post=109568022][s]love the way north and west make sure that non indigenous police officer never occupied the seat in some of their major cities unlike igboland were all the CPs are from either the north or west.Delta state is behaving like the east too by allowing only north and west to be cp.Some tribe really know how to play politics and I love them for it.Let the east and south south be claiming civilized, when others are positioning their own.[[/s]/quote] Rubbish |
Samchelsea:The last two commissioner of police in Lagos was from Edo state...during Ambode time ..CP Edgal |

Great news.. I hope NRC regularly evacuate cargoes from the port.. Once Lekki port comes alive, the railway modernization between Lagos and ibadan , lekki epe express way ,apapa oworonshoki express way and finally Ibadan dry port comes alive... Lagos major problem is solved 100%...and this will be reality in less than a 5 years from now You just have to give it to this administration.. They really tried in infrastructure especially in Lagos |
flokii:Don't mix up IPOB with Igbo The bolded is because you have never elected them to see what dey will render to the north . |
flokii:If the position of presidency should be zoned...it should be zoned non other SE... That if we all care about equity and justice.. And who says north wants to hold on to power beyond 2023...they know it not possible... Even if Atiku contest under PDP..the north won't vote him over Tinubu.. All of u giving ur self panadol for a non existing headache should rest |
flokii:North is not craving for power beyond 2023..and they don't seem to be fighting for it...ur just giving urself headache.. The next president will be from the south under the support of the north.. ..and that seat should go to the SE not SW under normal circumstances |
jrusky:Wake up from ur delusion..if a civil war that ended 3 million lives couldn't do it ..what will.I repeat 3 million Lives wasted couldn't do it,..what will...is it kanu DAT his own is finished already..or the forgotten igboho? Which way is the north going..election is by to corner.. The north isn't taking it upon their self that they want a northerner in that seat..in short they are very much in support of a southern being there...it is we Southerners that are still in confusion with weather it should be Igbo or Yoruba... When u mention the word North...know that it encompasses Jukum, tiv ,nupe , idoma , Yoruba, igala, igede, kanuri..and many other tribes not just Hausa Fulani... |
Lol...see lie.. When twitter was previously working ..FG never made a dime from them as they don't pay taxes...all of a sudden over 10trillion gone.. Or u means Nigerians lost it not the government cuz they were never moved financially Well it news for the gullible |
Simplythebest:Official Dollar rate was N180 Today it is N435 For a product imported abroad how do u expect it to remain the same... Besides..there is only a fixed amount government can subsidize the product..once it exhide that level..if NNPC can't handle the extra cost to keep the price stable...they pass it on to Nigerians to bear |
